I had a wonderful experience working with Mark. He painted my 1990's builders' grade cabinets in the kitchen. I got his name from a neighbor who also used him. He was able to give me a quote the same day. The work took a month to complete from first contact to completion. He took the cabinet doors to his shop to paint which was the longest part of the process. Then he returned on 3 consecutive days to paint the frames and to do the installation. I should also mention that he did a sample on one of my doors since a friend recommended a particular color, so I was able to compare that color with a more standard cream color, which I ultimately went with. He was very easy to work with, always responded to text messages and he is very good at what he does. I am 100% satisfied.

If I could, I would rename his company to Kitchen Magician, because what he did with our kitchen was really magic. Within 2 days, Mark transformed our old and outdated set of cabinets to new and modern ones. Before finding Mark, we consulted a number of companies. Those people came to our house, gave us lengthy speeches about how good they are and ended up giving us astronomical prices from 8 to 18 thousands dollars (for these amounts we could have built a brand new kitchen). Mark didn’t even come - I just sent him a picture and he gave me a price over the phone. When he came to complete the project, he didn't talk - he worked. At the end we have beautiful kitchen for $3400. Thank you, Mark.

We were very pleased. Because our cabinets were originally stained, extra work was required to cover over the grain of the wood. Mark was prompt in getting the work done. The work was rather extensive. Mark put in several days worth of work, he was neat. Care was taken not to paint beyond the borders of the cabinets. We are pleased with the results and the 'new' look of our cabinets which we hope will give us years of additional use. Mark was a pleasure to have in our house during the work and tried to do as much as possible off site (our home).

Amazing ! Looks like new ! Mark his stuff. He spent considerable time cleaning and priming the boxes for painting, and he put multiple layers of paint on the cabinet boxes. He used the highest quality replacement doors and hinges, and he made sure that the doors were perfectly aligned. My advice? Hire him. His prices were less than other quotes we received and we are so happy with the work performed.

Excellent. He is very professional and does outstanding work. He is very clean and takes his time to make sure the client is happy. Fine workmanship. We have new appliances and he made sure everything was taped up very well so there were no accidents. Lastly, he is a very nice guy and very pleasant to deal with.

Mark is absolutely amazing! I am a Real Estate agent and my home value has easily increased by $15,000 just with my new updated kitchen. I had tired, 20 year old oak cabinets that I have hated for over 10 years. I had 3 contractors quote the project and provide a sample. Marks sample was extraordinary. You would NEVER know my cabinets were oak. He does not just paint the cabinets, he takes all the doors and drawers to his shop and he goes thru a very extensive, several step process to prepare them. They are totally smooth without any typical oak graining. He installed hidden hinges and then painted the entire kitchen and ceiling. I had granite counters and a glass tile backsplash added and my kitchen looks like a completely new remodel. Mark's work is fantastic and he is a man of integrity. If he tells you he will be there, he will be there or will phone you and let you know his schedule. I have already recommended him to 3 clients and will continue to. LOVE my new kitchen!!
I was interested in updating the look of my cabinets without buying new ones or getting them refaced. I decided to go with refinishing and contacted Mark. He came out within a couple of days of my phone call. He was very knowledgable and advised me that I could either restain them or paint them. He showed me actual samples of both painting and restaining and also provided before and after pictures of cabinets in kitchens he had recently completed. Before he began the work on my cabinets, he helped me chose a stain and a paint color so that I could actually see how both would look in my kitchen before I made my final decision. I decided to go with painting and am extremely pleased with the results. My kitchen looks fresh and updated. I highly recommend Mark's work
Cabinetrix did a great job refinish my boring oak cabinets to a beautiful off white with chocolate glaze. I am very happy. The oak grain doesn't not show through. My kitchen is beautiful now.

Mark worked wonders on my cabinets transforming them from the 80s look to a modern contemporary color for a fraction of the cost of replacing them. He suggested replacing the outside hinges with inside hinges. I was hesitant to spend the extra money but so glad I did. It really made a huge difference in the look, just as he said it would.

He is reliable, showing up exactly at the time he said he would arrive. The job was completed in the estimated timeframe and Mark was very neat and considerate. I highly recommend his work.

The first step is to choose the paint color of your "new" cabinets with Mark using the multi-step process. We had four color samples made and then chose the one we liked the best. Next, the cabinet doors were removed, as well as all the old hinges and door handles. Mark removed the doors (and drawers) to his work shop, painted the doors, and then let them cure. In the meantime, we chose our new cabinet handles, ordered them, and began to decide what kind of glass we wanted to replace the 20+-year-old beveled glass in four cabinet doors. Mark carefully labeled each cabinet door and drawer so, upon his return, he could replace them exactly where they belonged. Because the paint must continue to cure for a total of a month, it's essential that the homeowner take care when opening and closing cabinets and cleaning. No heavy rubbing allowed. Once the paint cures, you're ready to go full speed ahead. In our case, it was clear that we needed some new hinges for a handful of the doors. Mark ordered those and then removed the doors in question. He returned, reinstalled those doors, making sure that none of them brushed against another, making possible scratches a possibility. The last step was to touch up a few minor dings. With that completed, we had a "new" kitchen that we absolutely love.
Mark was patient, talented, and willing to do whatever it took to satisfy us. Whenever we had a question, he was available to answer it. We couldn't have worked with a nicer, more accomplished man whom we recommend highly.
Mark also paints wood cabinets and cabinets of other materials. He can change colors, design, and finish. Check out the company web site at http://cabinetrix.com/ for examples of his work and the full range of possibilities.
BTW, his price was more than fair. Replacing the cabinets would have been cost prohibitive, and replacing the doors only would have cost at least twice as much.
