Unfortunately the reputation did not align. Yes, they are very expensive. Did the work match the price?Absolutely not. They cut corners (pun intended), disregard the companies standards, and disappoint. From poor designing, scratched materials, elementary installation, and a very argumentative general manager, this company simply disappoints. The customer service as well is minimal. Emails do not get responded to, installers seem depressed, the general manager seems to have status as if he is better than others and comes across belittling, and so much more. Learned this first hand while on site at my own home (pertaining to the general manager). Very unimpressed. You can see from the videos and photos what I am referring to. There are many options out there these days, and unfortunately this coming has gotten too comfortable and is lacking craftsmanship and integrity. I would avoid them.

Installation went very well. Edgar worked hard and was very professional. Expert installer with attention to detail. Would use again.

Contacted Calif Closets, met with designer, made selections. Sales person was a bit hard to get to after order to field questions. Instalation went well and quickly. Very satisfied.

The design and install were great. The quality of the material was also great. There is a warranty on their product, but good luck having anything fixed if something goes wrong. When I wanted the clothes hamper replaced and drawers put up in its place, it took numerous phone calls and messages left and a threat to give a bad review on BBB to get a call back from anyone. Once your product is installed, the customer service is horribly lacking afterwards. What good is a warranty on a product if you can't get a response from a company. They finally came out to replace the hamper, but with the absolute headache involved with that, we will not be using this company to design anymore of our closets.

Mario showed up on time worked all day cleaned up on day 1 came back the next day worked till finished hard worker and an eye for detail wants the job done right.

Edgar was on time. He was very professional and went above and beyond the other and had installed my other three closets by painting the wall where the old shelf was fallen out.

Also they Installed a damaged unit.<br /> <br /> I have to give California Closets of Reno a D- on their service.  It have been more than eight (8) weeks since they promised to come back and complete their installation. My wife and I have called several times in the ninth (9th) week with no response. <br /> <br /> At this time I would not recommend California Closets of Reno to anyone. </p>

Installer arrived on time, installed closet in timely manner, was very polite and cleaned up before left.

No complaints.  Crew was professional.

Although the provider showed up a little late, they called ahead to let me know that they were running late.  I had no problem with that. <br /> Before work began, they went over the work to be done to make sure that I was getting what I wanted.  There were two people working.  One did the closests inside the house, the other the garage cabinets.  They went to work right away. Very professional.  There were no problems and the work went smoothly.  Clean up went well also.
