I called this company last month to do a water repiping for a rental. I was very satisfied with the efficiency and competence of these guys. However, at my own residence, I called a prominent plumbing company, one that advertises heavily, to fix a leaking pressure relief valve on a water tank they installed. This company told me that my water pressure was too high (80 psi) which it was. Their solution was to have me install an expansion tank plus install a 2 inch pressure relief valve. I then called Cal's who installed the relief valve on the 3/4 line from my meter, and said I didn't need an expansion tank. The whole price was less than what the other company was going to charge me for just the 2 inch pressure relief valve. This demonstrated to me that this company is honest and fair. Their professionalism and competence are unquestionable. From now on, I'm saving time and grief by calling them for any plumbing issues.

Line is inside exterior block wall of the house so Billy suggested we remove the cabinets inside and jack hammer out the adobe wall from there to expose the pipes. He also was concerned there was moisture or mildew under the cabinets and contacted a restoration company to come out and do a free inspection. I thought that was very conscientious of him and forward thinking. He left awaiting the results from the restoration company, which turned out negative (Whew !). I asked Cal plumbing to send him back by so we could finalize the plan for repair. We settled on taking out the exterior wall since adobe walls are quite thick and it was clear that the pipes were closer to the exterior wall. Once the wall was removed Billy quickly and efficiently removed the old piping, the galvanized had a 3" long hole where it had rotted through the bottom. Billy had us run several tests to ensure no leaks and solid connections. Since Cal's does not do the block repair, I found an adobe contractor who came out later that day and repaired the wall. The drain has been running great ever since. The price was very fair for the difficulty of the job.

It was on a weekend (of course), but Cal's showed up very quickly (within about 15 mins of call) and immediately went to work. The task was completed within 30 mins. Very friendly and informative. Hopefully won't need to call anytime soon, but when we do, we will definitely call Cal's Plumbing again!!

Dan C. arrived on time and, despite an immovable shelf over the tank, diagnosed the problem. Although he barely had room to reach into the tank, he was able to replace the original gasket, which had all but disintegrated. Problem solved. Dan explained everything he was doing, and despite having to struggle to install the gasket, was patient and affable throughout. Would definitely hire again.

Billy arrived within the two hour window, evaluated the job and and patiently explained the options. He then installed the new plumbing, checked his work and answered all my questions. Excellent experience - best plumber I've ever hired.

The plumber, Billy, called ahead of his arrival. He was on time and was friendly, professional, very competent, and worked quickly. He left the work area clean. He also offered me some guidance on a sink drain which has been a problem. I am very pleased with Billy's work and the excellent value offered by Cal's Plumbing. I am also happy to finally find an excellent plumbing company for future plumbing needs.

Had Cal’s come out to house and went over replacement options and had them scheduled for installation. They worked with our schedule and had them out to the house 2 days later, Leonard was extremely professional and very nice, he arrived as scheduled, he called a few minutes ahead of him arriving, so we could secure or 4 legged family members. He went right to work and kept us up on how things were going and gave us other helpful information. He did the install in no time at all...kept things clean as he worked and when it was all done made sure things were clean . We will MOST DEFINITELY turn to Cals for all of our future plumbing needs. I recently had a leaking water heater removed and replaced by Leonard from Cal's Plumbing Company who did an outstanding job. Top quality parts and materials along with Leonard's meticulous craftsmanship were used in the installation of the new 40-gallon natural gas water heater. The work area was left neat and clean which we appreciated. I highly recommend Cal's Plumbing Company for anyone who has a plumbing project or an urgent need for a plumber as their personnel are highly skilled, courteous, and punctual.

He said he was going to put a thing on the sink to close the hole and he never did. I called him back a couple times. He told me he would get there, but he never did.
