Eduardo and his crew were excellent! I would highly recommend. I wish I had before and after pictures to share. I cannot say enough positive. Polite, responsive, clean, exceeded expectations on everything. Very reasonable quote, timely, efficient; we will hire no one else.

After calling Cal West, Eduardo contacted us very quickly and came out the next day to give us an estimate. His polite crew did exactly what we asked and even carefully moved our yard art and patio furniture out of the way of falling limbs before starting the job. Highly recommend.

Overall we had a good experience with CalWest Tree Service. I contacted the company and Eduardo answered. I sent pics of our stump that needed to be removed and he sent me back a quote, I reached back out later in the day to confirm service and we agreed on a time and date a few days later. The technician showed up at the wrong time over an hour early, waking up our household. I called Eduardo to clarify confusion after the technician said he was instructed to show up at this time by Eduardo. I called Eduardo, leaving a message and text. Didn’t hear back after a short while so had the technician call Eduardo to clear up time confusion. Eduardo answered and I was able to speak with him. Eduardo said he had other jobs to do and this time worked for his schedule and jobs that he had, I reminded him we did not agree to this. He asked if I wanted technician to wait to start until agreed upon scheduled time, I said since he was there and had woken up the household already we may as well begin. Our technician Jesus did a fantastic job of removing stump and getting the best depth he could get with his machine under the conditions of it being a raised planter. From start to finish it took about 2 1/2 hours. Other than initial start time communication confusion by Eduardo, CalWest did a great stump removal job and at a great price. Jesus cleaned up afterwards and we had them leave the woods chips behind. We would definitely use CalWest Tree Services again and recommend them to others.

Eduardo was very responsive, He and his crew are professionals, knowledgeable and very efficient trimming large trees and cleaning. They are up to date with the best equipment for any project. Highly recommended!

I requested a quote and Eduardo came out that same day. The next week his crew arrived early and ready to work. I had 15 oak trees, 3 pine trees and 16 olive trees that were totally overgrown & needed a full trim. Eduardo and his guys work tirelessly, and completed the job in one day. I couldn't be happier with the way the trees look. I would highly recommend CalWest! Thank you Eduardo!

Instead of cutting TO 12', the trees were 12' from the top. They are still over 40' tall. I was clear in communication what I agreed to, and thought omitting the word "to" was a typo. We were negotiating again after one tree was "finished". And while they chipped branches and leaves and left them where I asked, they also took a whole truckload of wood that I wanted chipped as well. The rest of the work was excellent and they were very efficient. In hindsight I should have stuck with the person I originally had lined up.

They were nice, did great work, and were more than accommodating. Moreover, the price was less than other bids.
