Campbell Electric

I screwed up and paid him upfront. I would suggest using Campbell Electric only if you can't get anyone else. If you do use them, NEVER EVER pay any money up front. I messed up and paid before the work was done. The work was never done by Campbell Electric and I'm still trying to contact him for 10 months to get him to man up and give my money back. The address he has listed, S. Peoria, he has no business at that address. Be careful dealing with this guy.

When I first got a bid , he said his company did not finance any work. Then he called me and said he had gone to Rhema bible collage like I did, that he would help me, after he said he prayed about it. On July 10th 2021. He came over to my home explained everything that he would do to install all the electrical items that I would need to ho0ok up to my portal generator out on my pouch. He asked me how much i could afford to pay him each month , I told him about $200.00 or more each month, I told him, that I would give him a money order for the first $500.00 to start with. He then told me that he ONLY TAKES CASH PAYMENTS. That should have been a warning to me, I made august and sept payments, in cash he came over to the house to get them. I then later asked him when He would start the installation, He told me that his company was very busy, and that I was in line to get it done, I also told him I had another cash payment for him to come and get. He told me he would come over and get it and tell me when the job would start, He never called back our or answered my messages. Not even emails. I then used and other pone to call him so he would not see my number. This time someone from the company answered, I explained that I still had a payment for him, the man told me he would give him the message and have him call me ASAP. That never happened. I have not gotten a call, or a Message, or even an email from him, since the last time i talked to him in September. So in Fact He stole my money.

Chip Campbell came out and gave me a price. And I hired him. They even put in additional ligths and did not charge me for they. Did everthing they said they would and more.

Chip and the crew immediately called me when I requested a quote and came out the next day. Chip took down notes on everything I wanted done or had concerns with, gave me an estimated cost, told me about how long it would take and said they'd be there in the morning. The following day they were here as promised and began working. Every item on my list was completed and even though it took a bit longer due to previous wiring problems, they made sure to stay until they corrected the issues and were able to finish up their work. Dependable, easy to work with, offers multiple options for what you need done, and did exactly what they said they would. Will definitely call again if needed!

I immediately recognized that I had found an electrician who was honest and one who took pride in his work. His word is as good as gold. Quality of work was outstanding! I highly recommend Chip Campbell and will call upon him again when needed! Was a pleasure meeting him!! Thank you
