It went well… on time arrival, very professional!

First time they cancelled. Showed up the second time. Repaired the cracks and salesman stated the work was guaranteed five years. The workers confirmed five years. The warranty they left stated some part of the work was guaranteed five years and other part was ONE year. Crack filler they used only lasted one month.

They were unable to bring it all the way up to it’s original elevation, but, they tried. They explained to my satisfaction as to why it couldn’t be accomplished. It is definitely a major improvement.

Well. Workers were polite and timely.

We found Cantey Foundations to be the solution to our sagging floors and cracking walls - even after speaking with some of the other popular alternatives. Our team, consisting of Dallas, Corey, David, Dallas and Alex((2 Dallases),were professional, knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Not only did we see a definite change in the sloping floors, but the cracks closed up and doors stopped sticking. When the crew was done, they cleaned up everything. Although it is only a week since the work, we do not have any concerns because of Cantey's warranty, which guarantees the work for 25 years. We were able to put off other recommended work for a later date, and plan to take advantage of that when our pocketbook allows. I will have no problem calling them back.

Everyone we dealt with from Cantey Foundation Specialists were very professional, timely, and caring throughout the entire process from job estimate to the actual work done. While the work done did not bring all areas back completely to their original states, with the exception of one area, they were all pretty close. Realistically, It's very difficult to fix in two days what has taken place over a period of years. I am very satisfied with the job done. Grayson (job estimator) and Estevan (crew leader) were very helpful and great to work with through the entire process.

Called Cantey, and Alex came out promptly. He was on time, very professional. Recommended exactly what needed to be done. I'm very happy and would recommend.

Everything went well from start to finish. First, Dallas came to give us an estimate based on our needs. He was very thorough, measuring and taking pictures of the affected areas of the house and its corresponding support in the cellar. He also mapped out a chart for the crew so they would know exactly where to work and what needed to be done. The day the work began, Dallas was here to coordinate with the 3-man crew. There was constant communication between us, checking floors, etc., as they went along, and they replaced the dirt and vapor barrier when they were through. We are very pleased, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services!

It went well, just some cracks left on top of my foundation from the holes that were drilled. Still waiting for company to come and fill them.

Overall, the job went well. I was disappointed that the fireplace wall which had separated from the house(by over two inches at the top of the fireplace) did not come back to the house but, as was explained to me. they guarantee that structure will be stable but can not guarantee a return to the original orientation. The weather(it rained during most of the job) prevented them from doing a good cleanup at the end of the job, but that's why I downgraded them to a "B".

Review by Iris F. in Camden, SC Project: Repair a Concrete Foundation I had a unique problem with termite damage to an old Pier and Beam home. Damage was causing floor sagging and instability in the foundation of the home. (It failed several inspections). I was trying to sell the home and had to have the problem fixed. I had several estimates from general contractors in the Camden area. ALL of them wanted to fix the problem by going through the interior floors to get to the support beams. I did an online request to have an estimate from Canty Foundation. From the initial contact with William Yarbrough/Sales to the Onsite foreman Jonathan Driggers I was impressed. This is a 100 year old home and going thru the inside floors would have created damage that would have been difficult to fix. CANTY did all the work from the crawl space. They were professional and work was completed on time. The home passed all 3 inspections and I completed the sale. When you have a foundation problem I learned to call the experts. AMAZING job guys!!!!!

<p>When they came to do the inspection. They walked through with my husband and they showed him exactly where there were problems, they told him what problems there had been, and they labeled the areas that had things that were big problems. They also showed where there was a missing pier at each side. Not only the wall packing, but one of the support beams that had poked a hole in the closet. Then there was water that would come in the back area, and another diagonally from it. We had been told by one company not to worry about it, and that did not make use happy. They proposed fixing both ends, and had shown cracks in the walls, that we haven?t even seen, and where the floor was uneven. There were a lot of things they pointed out, that we haven?t even noticed.  When they got done, Mr James Campbell, when he went through and showed my husband, it just absolutely dumbfounded him. There is not a room in the house, that didn?t need repaired.  They ended up installing 3 push pier standard brackets, and cast in place fitting, and 15 smart jacks. They got all the permits and engineering. They did outstanding work. They were very polite professional, and on time. They gave of a sheet of all the information of everything that they installed, permits, and warranty for each thing. The smart jacks are warranteed for 5 years from install date. The manufacturer also warrants 25 years from the day of installation.  When we entered into the contract we have the right to notify to notify the salesperson directly, and let them know if we were upset about anything or to cancel at that point. Offered to buy now and pay later. They were so professional and so contentious, and went out of their way to be so. They sent along with estimate, a whole booklet about foundation problems that explains everything you would ever want to know. I would recommend them highly to anyone.</p> <p> </p>

I got the name of Cantey foundation repair from a mail flyer sent to my home, not from Angie's list.  I contracted with them to fix my leaning chimney. The sales guy seemed confident that the chimney could be fixed and he told me Cantey does 2-3 chimneys a week.  The crew came to my house on the appointed day and, dug a hole in front of the chimney and proceeded with the repair.  When they completed the work the crew chief told me that one side of the chimney pulled back in just fine, but the other side only pulled in a little and I now have a 1" gap between the chimney and the house where it had been 2" prior. I paid the crew chief on the day that they worked on the chimney but had immediate misgivings about the quality of the work and it certainly didn't meet my expectations.  I played "telephone tag" with the business owner, Mr. Cantey and I finally contacted him on August 2.  He agreed to come to my home and look over the work on Saturday, August 4.  <br /> I told Mr. Cantey that I was not satisfied with the end result of the repair and asked if they would do if over to pull the chimney back. <br /> Mr. Cantey immediately told me that the work that was done to the chimney was the best that they could do and I never should have had an expectation that the leaning chimney would pull back to its original position. I asked why not, since one side of the chimney pulled in just fine but the other side didn't.  He told me that if he had his crew back over to my house I would have to pay another $600.00.  I just paid him $3100 for a job that didn't fix the problem and found it hard to accept the position that the job wasn't done right, but he wanted another $600.00.  It was apparent from his comments that he had no intention of trying to fix the problem. <br /> I would never hire this company again for any kind of work.  Customer satisfaction is definitely not part of their business creed. <br />
