I knew only enough to know I would not do it unless it was done correctly. I was not even convinced that refacing was the right approach. Initially, it appeared to be an inferior work around. Ryan convinced me that my initial impressions were incorrect. Morgan finalized the "deal" by graciously allowing me to inspect her kitchen and then sent me a sample of my actual new doors and the matching wooden veneer that would be used to over the frames of the original cabinets. The quote process was excellent - although they required both spouses present we did not mind that and it helped us reach decisions quickly. Stuart gave us an excellent deal including kitchen countertops and a new sink. After a few weeks we had measures for cabinets and countertops taken and a couple of weeks after that had the installation date fixed Nicholas and his team worked very hard and did an excellent job, including wiring and plumbing when necessary, finishing in 2 days with very high quality results. I was impressed with all aspects but particularly Nicholas and his team.

Javier and his team did an outstanding job making our 1939 cabinets look fabulous! Morgan and Stewart were so knowledgeable in showing us the options and we chose their gorgeous blue/gray color "Marina" for our new shaker doors/drawers. The soft close is sublime and they installed our cabinet pulls perfectly. One door arrived with a slightly crooked cut and they hung it, and then were out asap to install the replacement. They installed the same shaker panels on the ends so it made our old simple galley kitchen look modern and fresh. JUST LOVE. On time, hung plastic to minimize the debris, cleaned up every night and finished one day earlier than we had envisioned. So so impressed. It is a beautiful, transformative, amazing look. I wish I could post photos. Stellar product and customer service all around.

Not only did Javier, Tulio and Byron do an absolutely amazing job, they finished a day early! Phone calls get returned, they showed up on time each day, were very knowledgeable, and they left no stone unturned-- they also cleaned up better than I would have. We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen, they did an amazing job. My perfectionist husband said, "Wow, they must be perfectionists too!" Haha. Thank you!!

I highly recommend Capital Cabinet Refacing. Javier and Tulio did an excellent job refacing the cabinets of our kitchen, installing our sink, and applying a new countertop. The work was finished in just two days and our kitchen looks fantastic. Javier and Tulio went above and beyond in their service and we are very pleased with the results.

Capital Cabinet Refacing made our 20-year-old cabinets look brand new again (actually, much better than the original cabinets) at a fraction of what it would cost to replace the cabinets. The installers were prompt, friendly, hard-working and highly skilled. The project started and was completed as scheduled, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up when the job was done. The quality of the materials used was excellent, and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

The whole process from the first visit to get an estimate through the actual project was outstanding. The doors and drawer fronts were perfect, the factory finish is better than any cabinets I saw in cabinet shops. The install team was meticulous and very professional. We are so happy we chose this company and could not be happier with the final product.

The estimate given for delivery was accurate. The installers took great care in refacing and installing doors, drawers and handles. They cleaned up every day after the work for the day was completed. The owner/salesman was very responsive to our phone calls and questions.

They arrive right on time and completed the big project in one day. New cabinet doors and cabinets completely look great.

Javier was excellent. Very nice and easy to work with. He was very detail oriented and very neat and responsible. Worked very hard and stayed late to complete the job. Very happy with workmanship. Would definitely recommend him and would definitely use him again for other work.

Overall, Capital Cabinet Refacing did an excellent job and we were pleased with the results. Javier and Trulio did the work skillfully over a three day period and were careful in containing any dust and totally removed all old materials, which we also appreciated. Keith, one of the owners, visited us for the initial estimate and offered a clear explanation and made helpful suggestions. We have dealt with larger area companies for home renovation work in the past as well as Handyman businesses. Capital Cabinet is a smaller family business and we found the results to be good and of exceptional quality. The new countertops came from a subcontractor through Capital Cabinet and there was a very slight backsplash measurement issue that required recaulking and painting to resolve final placement. Capital Cabinet resolved the issue in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. We recommend Capital Cabinet Refacing without reservation.

All aspects of dealing with Capital Cabinet Refacing was excellent. We worked with Keith initially on design and contract. He was helpful, honest and competent. We chose this company over three others. The installation was timely and the installers, Rene and Javier were fantastic. They kept the debris and dust at a minimum. They were meticulous with the installation. The entire installation took two days and we couldn’t be happier. Our old kitchen looks new, modern and high quality. The product is of high quality and so is the company and their employees. We highly recommend Capital Cabinet Refacing.

Last fall we started to focus on maintenance for the kitchen cabinets, as they were starting to look like they needed attention, peeling paint, etc. We knew very little what our options were, so our starting point was to do an online research for the cabinet company with the best reviews in the area, which was Capital Cabinet Refacing. Keith came out and went over the different options (replace, repaint, reface), he was very thorough and took his time to educate us in the process. We decided refacing was the best option for us. A week or so later, Javier and his team of installers came out to take the measurements. During the installation, we watched how much attention to detail Javier and team put into their work. I know that in some of the past reviews it mentions not being able to get a hold of Keith, I had the same issues but he does always call back, maybe it takes him just a little longer than our nerves can take, since it is a big investment thoughts tend to go to…..did I make the right choice? We are here to tell you that at the end of the project, they are reliable, honest and they really care about the quality of their work. We definitely made the right decision going with Capital Cabinet Refacing.

Keith and his team do outstanding work. I can's say enough about their professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail. The estimate was completed a few days after my first call and the quoted price was very reasonable. The refacing made the cabinets look brand new and installation was very well done. It was an all day job and the crew was there until after 5 pm.

We recently did a full remodel. We did all of our own subcontracting. Of all the vendors we used, Capital cabinet refacing was by far the best. They were on time and efficient. The quality of the workmanship is second to none. We can't say enough good things about Keith and Nicholas. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Keith and his team were excellent! We are so happy with the completed project. He turned a kitchen from from the 60’s into a now beautiful upgraded kitchen! I need to add that this is our vacation condo in Virginia and we’re not able to fly in while the work was being done. With that being said from start to finish Keith and his team stayed in full communication with us and sent pictures as soon as they were done to be sure we were satisfied with the work. It was such a relief to know I left a project in such capable hands! We are so happy with our kitchen now and would recommend Capital Cabinet Refacing to anyone needing their cabinets redone!

I cannot say enough positive things about Capital Cabinets. We had all the cabinets in our mid-sized kitchen refaced, with new white shaker doors and Formica laminate over all the boxes. It looks like a 60K kitchen at a fraction of the price. Keith (the owner) was extremely responsive to my many, many, questions. In addition, I wanted a built-in look around our refrigerator and some additional custom work, and Keith and Javier (the installer) made it happen. Javier's quality of work was impeccable and he and his assistant worked very hard to complete my kitchen on time.

The customer service was not what I would have expected; early on especially, the "owner" was not very responsive. I would recommend getting a detailed estimate with costs for everything detailed and costed out which we did not do: when some options were left out of our order, and we decided to do without them, we had no idea if what was deducted from our bill was accurate. The installers were very good and the finished product looks great...it was a long process and we had to wait 2 additional weeks for completion since there was a missing drawer from our order so that had to be re-ordered and installed. The installer was excellent and very responsive to us. I would also suggest getting an estimate for new cabinets (we did not do that since we wanted to keep our granite counter-tops) as I was very surprised what this ending up costing and newer cabinetry may have been more cost effective in the long run. We paid $14,000.00 for the project with top of the line wooden cabinet re-facing and soft close drawers. I now think that was quite high...we did get other estimates that were close, but we upgraded the cabinets and needed a wine rack re-built and 6 little shelves.

It is an ongoing terrible experience. Half the requested work has not been completed after months of trying to schedule and the craftsmanship is the worst I've ever seen. The company admitted they outsourced the work to someone that had never done refacing before. The glue isn't holding, the edges are frayed and could cut someone, the false panels and tip trays were never delivered, and the calk looks like it's old and messy. I'm desperate to find someone to pay to come in and fix the mess. My solid oak Cabinets are most likely ruined.

It was very good. They did have to push it back because he had to replace one of his teams, but it worked out okay because we weren't in a hurry. The job only took three days and they were very clean and neat. When they left, they made sure everything was picked up and taken care of.
