Work done excellently.

I have a 28 year old asphalt driveway that needed to be resurfaced. He was prompt providing a quote at a fair price compared to three others. His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. The next day they applied 2" of asphalt and did a perfect job with great attention to detail. Then they cleaned up the whole area and it looks great. Richard Golobo and his crew have my highest recommendation. I could not be happier with the whole job.

Capital Paving installed a new driveway for me. They did a great job! I would highly recommend them.

Rick Golobo said they would pave 2 inches into the planter on one side of the driveway. Wide crack appeared in new asphalt along planter the length of the driveway at the 2 inch mark. Rick kept promising to fix it each time I called. He said, “I haven’t forgotten you.” A year later I hired a reputable company, Antietam Paving Co. in Keedysville, to fill the crack with asphalt sealer.

Capital is a top-notch outfit. Nick, Richard, and the team are real pros, but more than that, are responsive, flexible, and prompt. They researched an unusual request I had, and came back to me with options that made it clear they knew what they were talking about. They delivered on every promise, and when i had a minor nitpick, they returned promptly to take care of the issue to my satisfaction. We have used their services on two separate occasions, and each time have been favorably impressed.

It went very well. They came Wednesday morning and finished Thursday evening. Total sq. footage was about 5000 and 5500.

Richard and his team did a great job. Richard came out promptly for a free estimate and offered options for repairing and replacing our driveway. We chose to pave over our old cement driveway with asphalt, a one-day job. Richard worked with the team all day, and they finished the job by late afternoon. They prepped the area, applied the asphalt, beveled edges and smoothed transitions to existing walkway, steps, and cement apron by the road. The driveway is smooth, neat, and looks great! Richard was very responsive and pleasant to work with. We recommend him and his company to others. <br>

Nick and his crew were awesome. They showed up earlier and got started right away. Both driveways had to be graded down, backfilled with gravel and asphalted. They did everything they said they were going to do. They even went above and beyond with the dirt that was removed from both driveways and placed it in the back yard were we are having problems with low spots and pounding of water. Not only did they place the dirt in the back yard, but they even graded it out for free! They did an excellent job on both driveways. We couldn't be happier. They answered all our questions and concerns. Their cleanup after the job was perfect. I would highly recommend Capital Paving and Contractors. They do EXCELLENT work. <br />

Rick Golobo and his crew did an outstanding job totally renovating our parking lot at an apartment building we operate in Washington DC.  They gave a competitive price and delivered on it.  We forgot to request striping and numbering of the parking spaces and were flexible enough to add them in after the contract was signed.  They also installed bollards at the end of the job to stop the local trash contractors from using our lot to reverse their trucks which had caused a lot damage in the past.  We would definitely recommend them for any sort of asphalt or resurfacing work based on our experience.  We will definitely be using them again on similar projects. <br />

Richard was extremely patient in scheduling the work as there were only a few occasions when we could be without our driveway. He and his crew arrived punctually and he gave me an excellent overview of the process involved and (without pressure) described the advantages of different coatings. We settled on a commercial grade and it really turned out beautifully. I am extremely pleased and will use this company again when it is time to reseal. <br />

<p>What I really liked & respected with the fact that the owner - Richard, kept his word.  I called (3) other companies and didn't so much as receive a return call.  I called Capital Paving & Richard returned my call the next day (Saturday).  He then offered to travel from Silver Spring to New Market to offer me an estimate - on a Saturday afternoon.  He said he'd arrive in an hour & he did just that.  </p> <p>After receiving the estimate, we agreed to move forward with the work.  Richard called me (2) days later to schedule the work for Tuesday.  He & his crew arrived as promised & completed the entire job that day.</p> <p>Richard & his crew worked extremely hard despite a heat index of 98 degrees.  They finished the job promptly & added years of service life to the driveway.  It looks great & the repaired portion is excellent.</p> <p>I definitely recommend Richard & Capital Paving for anyone looking to improve the service life of their driveway.  </p> <p>Thanks very much.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p>   </p> <p>  </p> <br />

The crew showed up as scheduled and removed the old asphalt driveway. They graded the site and installed a solid bed for the new driveway.  The contract stated 3.5" of new asphalt. They ended up installing 6" to 8" of new asphalt giving me a very solid driveway with no extra charge. They did an excellent job of finishing off the edges and shaping the driveway as I had asked. They left the site very clean taking all debris with them. I am very pleased with their work. <br />

not 100% sure of when this was paved ... not real warm and it was rainy?? <br />

It went well. I liked them.

Very decent quality, especially for the money charged. <br /> Rick is honest, keeps his promises; does a good job, charges reasonable money. <br /> My driveway became the envy of my neighbors :-) <br /> One peeve - I wish he was a little bit more punctual with his appointments, but this is not a deal breaker by any means - especially because yes, he might be a bit late on an estimate appointment - on the work day he is going show up exactly on time. <br /> Overall - highly recommended. <br />
