It was taking longer and longer for our clothes dryer to dry our clothes. We couldn't find anything wrong with our dryer so I called Captain Clean to have them come out and inspect and clean our dryer vent. Gary found that the vent pipe was plugged and he needed every tool he had to remove the blockage. It took longer than expected because of the blockage which increased the cost. Seeing that plugged dryer vents are a leading cause of house fires and I didn't have to crawl into the crawl space to clean this, I feel this was money well spent. <br /> You will find less expensive companies but you really get the service you pay for. Gary didn't rush through anything, provided top notch service, was extremely thorough, cleaned up after himself and his work showed he is a true professional. <br />

Their was great, and they were very professional. Unfortunately, they were not able to get a major stain out of my carpet.

They were really good. The price was medium. They were very professional. They came within 2 hours and cleaned it all up. They were very courteous. I have coupons to use in the future and I get a discount if I refer friends. It was easy for me to get hold of them.

We discovered a dead rodent in one of our vents after the smell spread through the house. We removed the mouse but also noticed lots of dirt and debris in the duct work. We just moved into this 45 year old house about 6 months ago and so we decided it was time to get the duct work cleaned. <br /> Over a year ago (while living in a different home) I had a duct work cleaner come out from another company (dust doctors) and I really wasn't too impressed...they worked hard and fast but left a mess to clean up and seemed in more of a rush than anything. So I asked around and was told about Captain Clean from another HVAC company. I contacted them and the owner soon called me back. He asked basic details about the house and gave me an accurate price and time needed for the work estimate. I scheduled for the work be done and the technician showed up on time on the date specified, worked very diligently, offered explanations and answered questions and seemed to do a very thorough job. I paid $590 for all of our duct work to be cleaned and our home is 2700 square feet. When I used dust doctors I paid close to $400 for a home that's about 1500 square feet, so pricing is very comparable but I think Captain Clean was more personable and did not leave a mess behind. I would not hesitate to use them again. <br />

When I reviewed the listings you had for carpet cleaners, Captain Clean was the only one who mentioned area rugs in their description of services. Phil was very polite when I called. I dropped the rug myself at their facility. One of the workers unloaded the rug from my car. Phil said that he wouldn't be able to give me an estimate until they measured the rug and inspected it to see how dirty it was. He said it would take 4-5 days, since it would need to dry. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and i got a phone message late on Weds that it was ready to be picked up. On Thursday afternoon I picked it up. Phil was there to greet me in his navy blue uniform shirt and pants. One of the workers went to get the rug and loaded it into my car. Everyone was extremely courteous. The rug looks beautiful despite its age of 29 years! <br /> The only reason I didn't give them an excellent for price was because I left not knowing how much it cost. (I'm sure that if i had called back, I could have gotten that information.) I believe the price was fair considering the size of the rug and the fact that it's reversible. <br /> I will certainly be using Captain Clean again - particularly for cleaning my area rugs! <br />

The cleaning went very well. They were prompt, explained exactly what was going to be done and what it would cost. The serviceman was very polite and professional and did an excellent job. We are pleased. <br />

My experience is terrific with this company. The house I am moving into had very dirty and smelly carpeting. I wanted it cleaned before the movers get here. Captain Clean managed to accomodate my schedule which is pretty amazing for a big job. They removed stains I assumed were permanent, too. They are my carpet cleaners from now on.

They came out to measure for an estimate, which many of the other companies who offer these "deals" of 3 rooms for $99 or whatever claim, but that all proved to be a farce for me. Captain clean told me exactly what it would cost, the process involved and time needed for the job. It was more expensive than I thought but my carpets looked new when done. They showed me the rinse water proving my carpets desperately needed this two years ago!!! I will not call anyone else for cleaning needs! Very satisfied!

It was a great experience from start to finish! My carpet in the living room and hallway has not been professionally cleaned in the 5 years I have lived here; it was a disaster! Extremely dirty in some areas, from my dropping a newly-watered plant all over the carpet! There were multiple spots that I could no longer get out with any spray spot cleaner. I really didn't have much hope that Captain Clean could do much; I thought I would have to replace the carpeting. Chad and Gary arrived in uniform, and very professionally proceeded to do the most amazing job. My carpet looks like new! If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would not believe it. Gary also did the cleaning of my dryer vent. I could not believe the amount of dirt and dust and lint that came out! Also, they found a bird's nest in the vent outside, which they removed. No wonder my dryer wasn't working so well! Gary also fixed the dryer vent hose, replacing the duct tape at the ends with heat tape. I am very happy with Captain Clean, and I have gotten an estimate on cleaning of my other rooms, as well as the ductwork and bathroom vent fan. I definitely will highly recommend Captain Clean to all my friends and family!

This company is very professional and on time. They work very hard and get the impossible kid and dog stains out. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were recommended to me when I first moved to Rochester 9 years ago and I have used them ever since. This is a wonderful company and you will be very pleased with the job they do.

The work was performed beyond my expectations- amazing job- carpets look new. Very timely and professional.

Pretty good. They showed up on time, did the job, and explained a few things to me about my furnace. They only issue is they don't accept credit cards, only cash or check. However, they were flexible enough to follow me to the bank so I could whip up a cashier's check for them.
