"We are truly sorry about the miscommunication. We normally quote a ceiling fan replacement of 30-45 minutes, plus a 1/2hr dispatch fee. Our 2 man rate is $150/hr or $135/hr with a 10% senior citizen discount. Unfortunately, the day of your appointment we were short staffed and rather than reschedule your appointment, we chose to send 1 technician. Our 1 man rate is $125/hr or $112.50/hr in your case with your senior citizen discount. And, as it sometimes happens, it did take our technician 45 min. to replace your fan, therefore, it rolls over to the 1 hr mark as we do not bill in 15 minute increments. That being said, you were charged $112.50 plus the 1/2hr dispatch fee of $66.25. Again, we apologize if there was any misunderstanding on how we bill for the services we provide. It is not our intention or practice to mislead or even more so be dishonest with any of our customers. We ask that you please take this response into consideration and reconsider your review. Thank you and please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns."

"[Member Name Removed], During the phone consult, you expressed that the job should only take 1/2-1hr. However, you were quoted that the installation would take 1-1 1/2 hrs, and worst case 2 hrs depending on the access of the attic and, if a frame had to be built, which ended up being the case here. Our technicians were on site from 8:37 to 10:20, which was noted on the job ticket you signed. We bill in 30 min increments so therefore, you were invoiced for 2 hrs on site and the 30 min. dispatch. In reference to the cost and size of the fan, the research you conducted online was unfortunately inaccurate. Once on-site and proper measurements were taken, the fan size needed was a "Air Vent 18-in Dia Electric Gable Vent Fan" and was purchased from Lowes. Our cost was approximately $160 and the mark up to you was 12.5%, which we believe is fair. Lastly, we do a lot of our consults/estimates for smaller jobs such as this via phone and video conference. Most customers appreciate the convenience. In all, you were charged for 2 hrs (1 hr 45 min site), 1/2 hr dispatch, and the materials (wire, staples, screws, wood, and Fan). 2 men @ $140/hr x 2.5 hrs = $350 Gable Vent Fan = $181.18 Wire, Lumber, & misc. material = $38.35 Discount = ($14.00) Tax = $23.94 TOTAL = $579.47"
