Careful Moves

Jacob and his crew members were very nice and helpful. and they did a good job! Everything was done very professionally and efficiently from start to finish. All of the items were handled very carefully, and the logistics of the move were well thought-out, they were a pleasure to work with! If the truck was not too small that would be even better.

Short Version: When literally every other company said 'no' or never responded, Careful Moves was the only one who not only called me back, they said "yes," every time I called. First job: "Can you move my mom from one assisted living facility to another?" "Yes, we can!" Took a while to get a bed apart, but they got it done. I called again, "Hi, can you help me move a huge sofa out of the room and help me lay down a carpet? Everyone else said no." Their answer: "Yes, we can!" Called them AGAIN, third time "Hi, can you help move a refrigerator and oven from one level to another in my house?" Answer: "Hey, we're Ameri-CANS, not Ameri-CAN"Ts." (Best answer I've ever gotten). Fourth call: "Hi, I want to donate the refrigerator you moved out of my kitchen. Can you come get it and take it where it needs to go?" Answer: "We are the Ameri-Cans." They have literally saved me several times already when I didn't know what I was going to do. They are now saved in my contact list on my phone, because I wouldn't call anyone else.

Great moving company, great people!. Jacob and Chris helped us with a small move (about a studio apartment’s worth of stuff) from PA to OH, and they did an excellent job! Everything was done very professionally and efficiently from start to finish. All of the items were handled very carefully, and the logistics of the move were well thought-out. I had a mirror that was broken during transfer (that I wrapped myself), but Jacob took the price off the bill right away, no questions asked. We also booked the move last-minute (less than a week before), and they were able to accommodate us and answer all of our many questions despite it being their busy season! We would definitely book them again - they were a pleasure to work with!

The move went perfect. Jacob was extremely polite, professional and and went above and beyond my expectations. I will hire him again anytime and recommend him to anyone who needs something moved.

They were incredible. They were able to quickly move my furniture, unassmebling the necessary items and keeping track of the parts, reassembling once we arrived to the new house, and brought all the necessary items to do the move. They not only did the move quickly, but took care of my items in the move. None of my furniture was damaged, and I could tell they wanted to do the job right. I was always responded to in a very professional "yes sir," even though that was not ever necessary. They brought straps, blankets, the truck, dollies to move the furniture, effectively everything we needed for the move. If I were you, don't look any further for getting help to move. They got the job done in a single day, which involved a 5-hour drive for my items with 3-hours of loading and unloading each. These guys worked their tails off, I cannot praise them highly enough.

Daron and his crew made made our move go very smooth and painless. There were a few pieces of furniture I thought would give them trouble and they made short work of it. Very personable and overall great guys. Definitely would recommend their services.

Fantastic service! I needed 3 rooms moved and stored so that floor refinishing work could be done. Originally I planned to rent a pod and have Careful Moves just move to the pod outside the house. They were able to quickly help formulate a new plan when the pod wouldn’t fit in our driveway. All of this was near thanksgiving and other projects. They were careful and professional and very accommodating! I would hire them again!

Fantastic! D'Andre and Cory were incredible. Every piece of furniture was wrapped before loading. They never stopped. Unloading at new house was just as efficient with all furniture placed and unwrapped. They could have used a larger truck so had to make a second trip but the move was less than a mile so not a big deal. All in all it was a smooth and no stress move. I highly recommend.

Everything started out fine. They were about an hour late but that was ok. The 2 guys worked very hard moving everything and bringing it to the new apartment. Bedroom set needed to get to 3rd floor - part of the furniture could not be brought up due to the stair case. What did go up to the bedroom ended up with chips and scratches. Biggest problem was that the wooden lever for the recliner disappeared. Not sure where it came off but we could not find it anywhere. I notified Jacob of the situation as they were gone when we noticed it. He said he checked the truck and asked the guys but that resulted in nothing. I have called him a few times and even written a letter. So far I have not received any response as to what he intends to do about it. We are stuck with a recliner that DOES NOT recline!!!! Still waiting to hear from him - it's been 10 days since the move. Marian

I highly recommend Careful Movers if you are looking for quality movers at a fair wage. DeAndre and Corie moved five very large, heavy pieces of furniture from our garage to our third floor. They took the time to wrap and strap all pieces and were very careful not to damage the furniture or any walls, floors, windows etc.. They had to move these pieces up several staircases, with landings and turns within our old 1900's Victorian. It was very hard work. A real bear! They did a great job! Thank you much.

Everything went smooth. They were very respectful and professional. They moved my 5br plus my mother in laws apartment in basement.

They did an excellent job. They knew what they were doing, they knew how to get the furniture out, disassemble and reassemble, very polite, and with extra supply.

He's a wonderful guy. They were friendly. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very efficient and fast. They really worked with us. All around amazing job. We were really happy with them.

It was great. They were prompt and had a fair price.
