Terrible. He never finished the job. He never showed up to work when he said he would. When I would try to reach him, he would not answer his phone or respond to my text messages. After several days of no reply, I would threaten to sue him in small claims court, and then he would respond with a hundred excuses. He only worked about a half day total, and left the job unfinished, and refused to give me any of the 50% downpayment back as a partial refund. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They're a scam. Angi endorses them. That makes me believe Angi is also a scam. Do not use this service.

"hello good afternoon first of all an apology from the office of carlitos painting and services apologize for the bad time that you are going through when you contract with us we let you know that we were not working in the wisconsin area you told us if we could refer you a person The one we referred to a former contractor partner of us but we had nothing to do with the contract, you never signed any contract for Carlitos painting, nor did our company receive a check from you, he told us about the situation, we tried to see what happened but we had nothing What to see or relate to because we already sent it to let you know that the person no longer works for us we only recommended it was your decision and we told you that you could ask for your refund and you decided to buy the job, your comment affects our company carlitos painting You did not sign any contract with us, but if we can do something, let us know and thank you"

Our project was complete within 10 days of when we first contacted them and the price was more than competitive compared to other contractors who bid the job. We really appreciate working with a small business owner, Carlos and his crew are true professionals and I will hire them again when I need work done.
