I sent Carlos pictures via txt and he was there the very next morning at 8:00am to perform the work. He was on-time and very courtious. They completed the work and clean up in under an hour. I was impressed by their equipment, as it can be controlled with a remote and can make very tight turns. This is something the other guys just didn't have. <br />

Carlos phoned me within a day of my request for an estimate. He came to my house the next morning to give me an estimate and was prepared to cut the tree down, then and there. He and his team did a fantastic job! I had asked for the trunk to be cut into sections so that I might use them around my yard...they did it. All the other parts of the tree were put out onto the street for collection. The bits and pieces that were previously covering the lack of fence were all put back into place, better than before. Wow, it's so nice to have the work done so professionally, by a friendly team, and in a very timely manner! The price was fair and averaged out to be less than an estimate made by a company with a Big Deal. <br />

Very accountable and professional.  He provided and estimate and then was able to complete the project the same day.  Carlos also cleaned the spot well and left everything very tidy. <br />

Carlos was super quick to respond.  Were able to schedule work right away.  Showed up early.  Four very hard-working crew members.  Excellent clean up.  Couldn't be happier.  Will definitely use them again. <br />

Carlos was prompt in coming out and giving me an estimate. He covered all my concerns and offered a very competitive price so I chose his company to do the work. He and his crew arrived on time and finished in half a day. Did everything he agreed to and then some. Would use him again and highly recommend for tree work.

Carlos is great. He came right away and provided us with a very competitive quote. He showed great patience as well since we were waiting on other quotes to come in. Carlos's quote destroyed everyone else's. His crew came in and removed a tree, trimmed a smaller tree as well as a 40' tree trim; all look fantastic. Thanks Carlos.

Went very well. The team was extremely professional. They did a terrific job on the tree and then they cleared out all the smaller bushes as promised. They cleared out the tree and finally swept up everything so the yard looked clean at the end. I like their work and their work ethic and would use them again. <br />

Everything was smooth, impressive and very professional.  <br /> Carlos came when he said he would; the quoting process was clear and easy; he returned when he said he would and he and his partner removed the tree carefully and safely.  All materials were removed and the yard was left clean and beautiful.  Watching the art and science of him carefully and skillfully bring down a very tall, narrow tree safely was reminiscent of watching a controlled 'building implosion' video.  It was very interesting to watch the techniques employed for each of the major branches. <br />

He removed the stumps the same day I first called. He and his partner cleaned up, and were very professional. Two stumps were about a foot in diameter, and one was about 3 feet in diameter. He found a stump buried under leaves that I had forgotton about and removed it without charging. <br />

Originally hired this provider to remove a eucalyptus tree in the back yard. They didn't remove the stump, which they later said was not included in the price. Despite this, I was happy with their service, the care they took not to damage any of the other structure in the back yard, and their speed/efficiency. <br /> I called them back a few days later to remove the stump (at an additional cost). The guy came and did a terrible job. He didn't remove the full stump or roots, just covered it up with shavings from the bit he did remove. I had to call them back multiple times and, eventually, stop payment on the check and threaten them with legal action before they managed to get somebody else out to finish the job. Even then, we later found additional roots which make it impossible for us, now, to plant anything in that area. It was a disappointing and frustrating end to what was originally a good experience. <br /> <br />

Carlos came out promptly after original call to give estimate.  He was knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and give an estimate that was lower than my other estimate (Aly's tree service).  He brought his 6-person crew back a week later and they did the job in one day. The trees look good and they cleaned up really well.  Carlos was easy to deal with with. <br />

I used the Angieslist request quote system from Carlos Tree Service and two other places but Carlos Tree Service is the only one responded. <br /> They came to quote in the morning on time and since they were in the neighborhood for other customer they performed the task in the early afternoon.  Since I didn't have the competitive quotes from other places so I really can't compare the price but I'm happy about their promptness and how clean they left the work premise. <br />

I hired Carlos because I had a number of different yard/tree needs to be done.  Some of the work I desired some of the more professional arborists would not do, i.e. shaping trees rather than doing it the way they wanted despite how it looked.  Carlos was pretty knowledgeable in all areas but also willing to accomodate my special requests, even if it meant shaping rather than recommended other type of tree cutting etc.  His team was on time and worked very fast and hard, and did an excellent job on the tree triming and bush trimming as well.  Their clean up was very impressive as well. The pruning of the pear tree would be the only tree I would say could have used a little more expertise.  Their costs were way below other estimates I had so I did not even try to use the 10% Angie's list discount that was offered and felt I got way beyond what I paid for in cost savings..  His whole crew was very polite and hardworking.  I would recommend Carlos Tree in a minute and will hire them again as I have need in the future.  <br />
