I hired Carolina Critter Solutions on 3/26/26 based on the Company's standing on Angi. I needed someone reputable to trap and remove an Armadillo digging holes in my yard and flower beds. He came out, walked around and stated I probably had 4-5 females looking for a place to have babies. He set a trap, and said he would come back every week or so for a condition check. In the interim, because I am disabled and not able to walk in the yard he asked me to keep a daily eye on the trap from inside. He expected to trap the armadillo(s) within 20 days, and if not he would return with a second trap. He charged me $925, I paid by check. It is going on 3 months. He will not accept my calls, or return my voice messages. I paid someone to pickup the unsightly trap and place it behind my hedges, but I am getting someone to take it to the street for trash pickup this week. I feel he illegally scammed me, and took advantage of me financially, as an elderly disabled person.

Jim has been great! We are senior citizens with severe health issues. Feral cats have been taking over our yard. They are loaded with fleas and worms and my husband has dementia and fed them. He did not understand he was making the problem worse. I’m confined to a wheelchair and could not stop him. He captured 8 of them in no time and Randy (partner) sprayed the yard. Jim is very thorough about completing the job and helping with any problem. He has been a godsend for us and I would recommend him to anyone.

Requested a quote to remove a large dead animal from the shore of lake front property. Jim got right back with me with a fair and honest quote. He immediately fixed the problem. He was a pleasure to work.

Could not fix the problem at my house. I called them to tell that the problm reoccured, left a voicemail, and no response. I had to ask someone else to get the job done.

Very well, he contacted me promptly, set a time to come out. He kept me informed when there was a minor delay. I'm very pleased with the service.

So far so good. Since the exclusion work and the bait boxes were just done, it will take some time to see if it makes a difference. They are supposed to come back every 30 days for 90 days to refill the bait stations. So as far as the service goes, it was excellent, they were very responsive when I had questions regarding everything. Everything was done within 2-3 days of speaking to them. Hoping the results are as good as their service was.

The day of service was amazing. Jim and his son were kind and made the experience very easy. Unfortunately, the bats created other opening and I have all Jim near 5 times, one text requesting a follow up. We were promised a one year guarantee and to call if we ever have issues but I think we got had. The lack of retuning my calls and messages has left a very negative feeling and sadly think we have to contact another company to take over service.

We had a significant problem with moles, after putting new sod in our yard. Our front yard and backyard were full of holes and the grass was starting to die. Carolina Critter Control saved the day and completely got rid of all moles. They also came back several times to make sure the moles were removed at no additional fee. Our grass is green and now thriving again! I highly recommend this company and owner Jim Murphy! ??????

Prompt, professional, and excellent service.

Jim did an awesome job of trapping my Toni feral cat that I trapped unsuccessfully for two years. Jim put out several traps on Monday; caught four kittens and a raccoon on Monday and reset a trap near Toni’s kittens today and she took the bait. I am elated and will get her spayed tomorrow! Now on to socializing her four kittens so that they can be fostered ir adopted. Jim was prompt, jovial, easy to work with and met my expectations. Highly recommend!!
