It went according to our plan with a slight delay to fabricate and install a new shower door.

Contractor paid in full before job started. Contractor failed to pay supplier of shower enclosure. Supplier has a Mechanic's Lien against my home because Carpet Source did not pay them. Mechanic's Lien - my obligation. Mechanic's Lien - over a year old. Same prices and quality product as some of the bigger companies but we chose this smaller company.  Initially very punctual and flexible.  Always respectful and professional.  All our problems came when we needed follow-up repairs or corrections to the installation.  Particularly with thresholds in the Master bedroom that kept lifting or simply didn't transition well (big dip that made a trough for dirt or later just kept coming up and buckled to become a trip hazard).  Our biggest frustrations was punctuality.   We had to make many calls to finally get someone to show up.  There were two returns for repairs and we estimate that we called 3 times each time to get the single repair.   First time was two calls with no return calls.  Second repair we made three calls again.  First time I called (talked to Trey) on a Monday and was assured we would have a repair by Friday.  He asked for our flexibility to be on a two hour notice.  I agreed.  No show.  I called again the following Monday and Trey scheduled a specific appointment for Thursday morning at 0900.  At 1000, I called to find out where they were.  Becky was exceptionally helpful had someone to the house within the hour.  Juan showed up and did a very good repair and was very professional.  I place high importance on timeliness.  If you say you will be there and set a time and I arrange my day around that time....then be there. 

They gave me excuse after excuse, and I eventually had to get my credit card company to step in so I could get my money back.

I didn't like then at all they left the work incomplete and they did not offer to come back. They took short cuts and I walked in on them talking about how they were going to cover up rooted wood with our wood flooring without me knowing. When they placed the stone floors they weren't placed correctly and there was no planning. They also put the tile over rooted wood so now it is unstable in some areas and it isn't level.

My husband met with Trey, the owner, to pre-screen carpets while I was at work. Trey provided quotes on everything my husband inquired about based on the square footage from our floorplan dimensions. He also advised us on which carpets he'd be able to receive quickly because we were in a time crunch. Once we selected a carpet, Trey came to the house himself to verify the measurements. He and my husband had an extensive conversation about where to seam the carpet and he agreed to my husband's recommendations. The carpet came in on the date promised and our install was scheduled for a holiday weekend. No one on the installation crew spoke English, so my husband was unable to communicate with them about how the carpet should be seamed. The installation itself was done very well, but the carpet was not seamed where we wanted it. After the holidays we contacted Trey and he resolved the issue to our satisfaction. I'd use them again, but be sure the installers have a diagram in hand.

Carpet Source did a good job on the floors. They used good high quality wood and materials. They had a great crew that was respectful and professional. They were clean and moved all of the furniture around without any problems. They were quite accommodating. They came back to put in extra thresh holds. I have also used them to put vinyl in my kitchen on a separate occasion.

Carpet Source did an excellent job installing my carpet. The price of the carpet was slightly more expensive because I chose a high quality carpet; however it was well worth it. I was very happy with their service and would recommend them.

Carpet Source was exceptional. The whole crew that came out was very nice. They answered all of my questions. The price was outstanding. All of the work that they did was very high quality and my carpet looks great.
