I've been having John clean my carpets for about 20 years and he is hands down the best out there. Ive had several rentals that he has brought back to life with his amazing job he does. Once you have John clean your carpets you will never go back to any one else. I feel comfortable enough with him to leave a key and clean my carpets when I'm not home, been doing it for years. John is honest, trustworthy, friendly and very professional..highly recommend!! <br />

Carsten Cleaning is a father/son operation.  John and LJ arrived promptly, even 10 minutes early!  John and I discussed beforehand what was required on my part due to my having a very full garage -- they needed a 3 ft wide space to bring through their equipment into my townhome.  Though it wasn't requested, t also moved the smaller furniture into my kitchen, including dining room chairs, piano bench, etc.  It went very smoothly and took about an hour.  It was completed on one of our very hot summer days so the carpet was dry in about two days. They gave me a thank you gift before they left (a company coffee mug filled with Hershey kisses).  A few days later I received a written thank you note with a couple of business cards.   Overall, it was a very positive experience. <br />

This cost more than I have paid before for carpet cleaning. And even being a frugal kind of guy I stll have to say he earned it. He and his son take this service to a different level than I have had before. I was just moving into a home previously occupied but very clean. I thought I would have the carpets cleaned before the furniture showed up. I was hesitant because the house was so clean. I didnt think I needed it. But the carpets looked way better when he was done. I mean WAY better. They felt cleaner and looked cleaner. And contrary to previous experiences from other cleaners - there is no residue in the carpet. The service level was great. He arrives on time. They take great care to not cause any other damage like mars on the walls from the hose etc. He also use different equipment than I have seen before. It seems to be superior. When done, they go back and rake the knap so its all uniform. I used him again a few weeks later on my previous home to dress it up before I put it on the market. Again, a great job. <br />

John came in and cleaned the  carpets in our 4 bedroom home very well.   We had several well worn traffic areas in our 13 year old carpet that look great again.   John was very knowledgeable about carpets and carpet cleaning.  My wife and I are pleased with the service.  Would use Carsten Cleaning again. <br />

When I called Carsten Cleaning initially, I left a message.  I received a call back the same day as well as a rough estimate of the cost. <br /> We were off to an excellent start! <br /> John and his son showed up promptly and reviewed their procedure. Additionally, I was provided with the exact cost as John measured each room.  I pointed out areas of carpet needing extra care or attention.  It took approximately 3 hours and the job was completed. They were efficient, conscientious, and professional.  The carpet looks much cleaner, even some of the tougher spots are clearly improved.  I would definitely use Carsten's for future carpet cleaning. <br /> The only recommendation I would make is for John to change his Angie's List coupon.  It states that first time users get a $50 discount (which was honored) and also a lifetime supply of spot cleaner.  I did not receive the latter and called John to inquire.  He promptly returned my call and stated he was short on containers for the spot cleaner and would drop it off in a few days.  It has been a week and I have yet to receive it.  Truthfully, I don't care too much about it, but I would suggest that it be removed from the coupon rather than be promised and not delivered.  All in all, I am happy to recommend Carsten Cleaning to Angie's users. <br />

These guys were on time, professional, and had pleasant personalities.  The carpets looked like new again. I'm very pleased with the results. <br />

I had some extremely dirty carpet and upholstery. We have two dogs, so it gets pretty grimy. Carsten's was very meticulous and they took their time in order to get the job done right.  I was very impressed with the final result. Our wall-to-wall carpet in the basement looks very clean, and the couch and chair look great.   <br /> They are also very responsive and easy to work with, courteous and trustworthy. Highly recommended!! <br />
