Marvin was prompt, courteous & professional. He is knowledgeable, provided sound advice & completed the job in good time, plus the price he charged was fair. I would not hesitate to use him in the future or recommend him to others.

Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
I had a great experience working with Marvin from Carvin Electric. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert at what he does. He showed up on time, used quality materials, and his work was super clean from start to finish. When something unexpected came up, he handled it quickly and kept everything on schedule without cutting corners. I trusted him the whole way, and the finished work looks fantastic. I?d hire Marvin again in a heartbeat.

Because of some internet issues on my side, this will be the third time I've written this review. I'm pointing this out because Marvin's work is so good that it is totally worth the effort for me to keep trying. Carvin Electric, which Marvin leads, is the model of what a contractor should be...reasonable, fast, super easy to work with, and incredibly reliable. Marvin and team did exactly what we asked and then some. He had great ideas of ways to improve our project, and never tried to gouge us for changes or upgrades. He worked around a difficult timeline and circumstances, and his work was absolutely perfect. I'm not sure I could recommend Carvin highly enough. Amazing!!

Marvin provided a detailed estimate that my condo homeowners association board could easily approve. He was extra thorough and flexible in making the electrical changes in my laundry room needed for my new washer and dryer. He ensured that everything was completed to my satisfaction and followed up afterwards too! I would definitely hire Marvin again for additional work in my home.

I hired Marvin on the recommendation of a friend, and he did an exceptional job. Every job was handled with care and explanations were given. He also made sure everything was cleaned up. I was so pleased that I did hire him more than once.

Marvin from Carvin Electric did an excellent job on my request to replace a couple of breakers (15amp Zinsco) on the electrical panel for my parents house. He also cut off the electrical source to the pool pump (parents used to have a pool) and removed the outlet for an old wall unit air conditioner. My husband requested the outlet removal and Marvin obliged because he said the wire to the outlet was live and would be a hazard (especially for my toddler kids). He charged a reasonable price for all three services (only the first one was planned) and the job didn’t take more than an hour. Definitely would hire him again for other electrical work (got some ideas for the future).

I am just now beginning to experience issues with my place after buying nearly three years ago and I am needing to hire some professionals to assist. Marvin was excellent in his diagnosis of the issue as well as finding the parts to remedy my malfunctioning light fixture. He was always on time and and was pleasant company while he worked. He did not charge for a service call which was a breath of fresh air and he was more than fair with the price. I will definitely be hiring him again in the future. Thanks again, Marvin!

We spoke and the provider came out the very next morning at 7:30 sharp like he said. He was clean, prompt, and up front with estimates and forecast. Cleaned up after and then even called later the next just to see how they were working out. Very pleasant and professional service. Above and beyond.
