It really is a big deal when you find a team that delivers what they promise and they do it with exceptional service and quality. Cassella Design & Build is that team! It has been amazing to work with them. Elijah and his team are responsive, come with great ideas, are professional, and they utilize an easy to review project system that was really cool (as you walk with them, they can add or remove items to your quote and it tracks it all). We started our project in March and the rain was a pain, but many times they pushed through since they knew we had a pool opening date that we were trying to keep. I can't say enough great things about his company. I will no doubt have them out here to do I highly recommend them!

I reached out to Cassella Landscaping to build a new retaining wall and patio in my back yard. I got estimates from six different companies before choosing Cassella. I will explain why I chose Cassella over the others, and why I am so glad I did. They were amazing! I did my research and read so many reviews. Cassella clearly had highly satisfied customers. Elijah, the owner, personally came out to talk to me about my project. From the start of my interaction with Elijah, I could tell this company was different. He listened to what I wanted done and my concerns about cost just like the other companies. But then what happened next was what made Elijah stand apart from the rest. I had made it clear that I was concerned about price and wanted options to consider how much of my project I could actually afford to do. He took the time to ask me questions to understand why I wanted this space, how I planned to use it, and which parts of the project were most important to me. And then he not only gave me options, he helped me refine my vision for the space to help me see what I could get done within my budget. He clearly cared enough to not just get the job, but to make sure I would be happy with the outcome. He was the only company who also told me that he would have one team working only on my project from start to finish. And he offered a warranty. The process of working with Elijah and his team was great all the way through. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner, and he communicated frequently. He had a team that was with my project from start to finish. They were hard workers, polite, and kept everything as clean as possible throughout. They cleaned up everything at the end, as well. They started when they said they would, and they completed the project right on schedule. The final project looks amazing. I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to get my new patio furniture so that we can start enjoying this new space when the weather is nice. My finished project is a retaining wall (3 feet tall by 40 feet wide) and a patio (12x24 feet) with beautiful pavers on both. The landscaping around the wall and patio was just what I wanted with river rock and plants. He transplanted the young trees that I wanted to keep and helped me pick out plants for the rest of the project. I had not imagined including lighting, but Elijah suggested it, and the lighting is beautiful. I also had a walkway installed that matches the paver patio style. It all looks so great, I am very happy with it. I highly recommend Cassella Landscaping. Elijah and his team were such a pleasure to work with and the finished project looks amazing.

From the minute Elijah arrived to give the estimate to the minute it was done to satisfaction (rain foiled the perfect patio the night it was completed so Elijah's team came back out to re-lay setting sand) the service and professionalism of Cassella Landscaping was a breath of fresh air. Not only did Elijah come to an appointment straight from a funeral - because he did not want to cancel the appointment after it was booked - but he was aware of the environment and called to see if I wanted him to don a mask before coming onto the property. Given this was in the early stages of the pandemic this was a gesture that told me from the beginning he was going to be a solid person to work with. Not only was his estimate the lowest of those obtained he was able to do so on the spot and offer multiple variants of options in the same price quote. When the work began, the crew cleaned up after themselves and were completely professional. Each night when I would get home from work, the job foreman would review the work that they had done and answer any questions I might have had. Again - a trait rarely seen anymore and MUCH APPRECIATED. Should i ever need any landscaping or hardscaping work done again I will immediately turn to Cassella Landscaping and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for the same. This small business is worth your money.

Elijah and his team are great. They completely overhauled our rotting, moldy wood deck into a patio in just four days. We received multiple quotes but chose to work with Elijah because of his responsiveness, his enthusiasm for his work (always offering his opinion but never insisting), and what we though was a fair quote. We also appreciated how he kept us updated daily, letting us know in advance what to expect each day and also being onsite each day. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased with the work from Elijah, his team led by Victor, and Cassella Landscaping. I hired them to replaced old rotting timbers of the wood trim of the yard of my townhouse. I have never hired a hardscaping contractor and most photos from others are of stone work. After emailing a few contractors, Elijah was very prompt to respond but I ended up going with a different contractor because our schedules lined up sooner. This ended up being a disaster - we ended up having the first contractor pull up the poorly laid timbers so we could start over from scratch. I ended up reaching out to Elijah again, and he was so professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, gave me multiple quotes, and was flexible with the price after our neighbors decided they did not want us replacing the timbers that were on their property line. Elijah worked us into their schedule promptly, and his crew paid great attention to detail, even offering to fill in the gap in our driveway left by installing the timbers straight with asphalt! His crew led by Victor was very communicative, checking in with me in the middle of the project to make sure I was satisfied before proceeding further. One issue I had with the first contractor I worked with was he cut awkwardly small pieces of wood to save on buying more wood. Victor cut nice long piece - and even went out to buy another plank of wood in the middle of the project to make sure it looked nice. They definitely do not cut corners! The price they quoted was higher than the first contractor, but I felt it was reasonable, and they definitely are worth it, especially given how professional and responsive they were to work with, and their expertise and attention to detail during the installation. Overall, I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be reaching out to them again if any other projects come up!

The project went very well - from the beginning to the end. The owner, Elijah is very professional, patient, well informed, and polite to a fault. We got a fair price for the work - not over, not under, just fair - which provided us with the trust that quality work would be performed. Elijah brought in his own designer for the front portico and put in the hours to make sure is County permit was needed. He provided us with images and videos of the final product before the work began. His workers were equally skilled and polite and left no trash behind. The project ended right on time. We are very happy with the end result and enjoying accolades from the neighbors. We would hire Cassella Hardscaping again for our future projects.

Great! Delays in materials were handled appropriately and he was flexible to handle additional needs on the fly. I will tell you that these guys are more expensive than his competitors we interviewed but in the end, good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good. This was well worth the investment. The retaining wall exceeded expectations and the patio design was exactly like how we imagined it. Elijah did a good job explaining the options to us multiple times onsite before we cut a check. And Victor, his foreman, was great to have onsite daily so we could ask questions, make minor adjustments on the fly and they cleaned up the site well after they were done. Definitely will be using them again for our stairs and other work.

He was great to work with and he listened to what I say. He was very punctual. He keeps you informed on what's happening. He was true in what he's doing and communicated very well. He was always on time.
