My appointment was on Monday 1/5/2026 to fix a leaky shower faucet that had continuous running water. Jordan Benavides responded and came to the job ill-prepared and without the proper tools to complete the work. He went to Home Depot, came back and still didn't do anything. He had one excuse after another and spent more time at his truck than on the job. I have him on videotape going to his truck 15 times, even sitting idly one time for 15 minutes. He charged $530 for the job and tried to price-gouge me for more business. After 2 hours of him stalling, I called dispatch and sent him on his merry way. I was left with a leaky faucet and a damaged shower handle which was working before. I called another company to fix the handle and solve my problem. If Jordan is indicative of the caliber of technicians Casteel employs or subcontracts, I will not be doing any further business with Casteel.

Matt showed up on a very hot Saturday and did a fantastic job of installing a new water heater. I had the county inspector come yesterday and he made the same assessment. It only took a minute to check and approve the installation because it was done so well

We were blessed to have Justin with Casteel Heating & Air as a very skillful, kind and talented technician. We have a Smart Thermostat that other companies’ technicians said “we don’t work on those things”. When we requested service and mentioned that, they told us they would pair us with a technician who is very skillful and they were correct. Justin showed up on time, beautiful smile and very professional. Our grandbabies were over for the weekend and was just waking up in the early morning and Justin was sensitive to that. He moved so stealthily throughout the house and was able to do exceptional work quietly and efficiently. We would certainly request him again should we encounter any future issues with our units. Thank you!

Casteel & their rep Michael Frye exceeded even lofty expectations. First, they offer discount coupons on their website. From the moment I placed the call, my A/C was fixed and cooling efficiently within 3 hours. Michael Frye was friendly & professional. He documented his discovery process at each important step. Using his tablet, he took pictures of the problems he found and presented to me in a way that was easy to understand. Once we agreed on the fix, Michael went to work and soon my A/C was functioning like new. I highly recommend Casteel and Michael.

Another day in a hot house thanks to the fine folks at Casteel not actually making my appointment when I called yesterday. The girl Kiki? On the phone had to go back and listen to my call from yesterday to confirm that I had even called in for anything. And despite her saying they could still get me in today, they won’t be here til tomorrow. Air conditioning is kinda critical in the state of Georgia and you’ve gotta be able to rely on the companies you call for help to do their job. Casteel isn’t that kind of company.
