The installation was completed quickly and efficiently and with high quality. The door include a pet door/flap too. On that note, make sure you a size that fits your pets. I have a medium size dog and her won't fit, and the person that ordered the door saw my pet, so not sure how the size turned out to be too small. However, I also have 4 cats and they can use the flap and I decided it was not the end of the world. I am still overall happy with the service and the overall door install.

INSTALLATION ....A+ Installers were great... on time, neat, thorough, accommodating. answered all my questions. They left the job clean and picked up all mess and debris. They even vacuumed inside and outside. I am NOT an authority on door installation, but I watched the whole operation and these guys seemed to know exactly what they were doing and left me a beautiful finished product. I can only hope that the quality of the door is as good as it looks and as good as the installers. Great job guys. PRODUCT (SLIDING VINYL PATIO DOOR) .... A+ Door looks and works great. So far so good. It's only been a few weeks, but there is absolutely no problem to date. I hope my delight with this door continues. Weather has been very mild. I intend to update this review once I see how it stands up to next New England winter. ADMINISTRATION & CLERICAL.... D- If the whole operation was like the installers, Castle would have gotten an A rating across the board. Unfortunately the clerical personnel are not on the same page with the facts or with each other. Ask six people the same question and you are likely to get twelve different answers. They lost my deposit, then they found it, then it was never lost, then it was never paid, then there was no record of any problem then there was no record of my order. (All these responses over the phone within the same day) On various calls within the same day I was told: -that the order for my door was never placed; -that my deposit was "misfiled because someone forgot to check a box"; -that my order had not been place, but that the rep I spoke to was going to personally walk the order over to production to get it expedited; -that my order HAD ALREADY been placed and my door should be ready within a week; -that my order WAS placed but would not be ready for at least two to three more weeks and then another week till installation; -that their computer system is "terrible" (I believe that); -that my door would not be ready till after the 20th of the month; -that my door would be ready by the 12th of the month.... and on and on. On the morning of installation, I was home waiting for the installers when my wife called me to say she had received a text on her phone stating that the installation was cancelled for that day (BTW, Castle was not supposed to use my wife's phone number at all.) While I was on hold with Castle waiting for an agent, I received a phone call (on my home phone) from a rep who said their mistake on the appointment date was a mistake and that the installers would indeed be here in a few hours. The entire back office is one HUGE foulup. They can't even get their mistakes straight. A new computer system and people who are properly trained to use it would probably make a big change for the better. SALES Their original "salesman" (from whom I did NOT order) was a tremendous disappointment. The guy who showed up pretended to know a lot more than he actually knew and basically said and promised anything that he thought would get me to buy. He tried several old time sales pressure tricks to no avail. He wasn't even good at them. Among other things, he promised additional discounts but only if I signed immediately. Before he left I asked him to leave a brochure that showed the door I was interested in, He refused. He said, "These booklets cost money and you're not putting any money in my pocket." Despite all of the problems, I would definitely recommend that you consider using Castle for your next patio door project. If and when I decide to replace my windows, Castle will be high on the list of contacts for the job. If all of their installers are as good as the ones I had, I would not hesitate to have them do more jobs for me.

Mistakenly signed a contract and put down a deposit. Made clear did not want the windows ordered until after closing in case of a problem. Home owner allowed the windows to be measured, again said don't order. House sale fell through, windows had been ordered ended up going to collections. Settled with the attorney. Started getting sales calls told them I did not own a home and would never do business with them again - stop contacting me. The home owner is now getting a newsletter and mailings in my name to their mailing address, Called repeatedly and the marketing person has never returned my call. Don't get involved.

I just had windows install by these guys and let me tell you I'm glad I did, the service was great and so is the quality of the products we ordered. We are loving our new windows and although we were told it could take 6 to 8 weeks before we could be contacted for the install it only took 3 weeks from the date of order. Bruce the sales man is a great guy with a lot of window service experience. Robert the installation manager was very helpful. Giovanni and the installation crew did a phenomenal, tight, neat and efficiently quick install. I couldn't have asked for a more satisfying experience. Thank you all!! Nick and Lisa

Overall - good quality work, organized, stress free process, a bit pricey but within reason. We had at least 4 or 5 companies come give us an estimate for the 10 windows we needed replaced in our home. Castle's price was not the highest, but also not the lowest. We wanted quality without breaking our bank, so we decided to go with them. The lifetime guarantee was also appealing to us. The sales pitch took a while, but he wasn't our first one, so we knew what to expect. Overall, the salesman was polite and respectful to us the whole time he was over. The scheduling / installation / payment process was almost all very stress free and smooth - they showed up when they were supposed to and worked very efficiently and mostly cleaned up after themselves. Their installers are very well trained. All ten windows were supposed to be done in one day. At the speed their installers were working at, it would have happened. However, they told us that 2 of the 10 windows we ordered came the wrong size and they couldn't finish the job that day (they send their people to come measure the windows.... so it was entirely their mistake). Though it was an inconvenience to us - we had to expect them a second day at our house - the correction was seamless and they took full responsibility for the mistake. We did not pay a penny more over this. A few notes - *The salesman said that the installation would be done completely from the outside of the house. That was not the case. Some of it was done from the inside. Some furniture had to be moved, etc... but again, they left minimal mess. *Strangely, as soon as the windows are manufactured and taken to their warehouse, they call you and can be rather pushy about setting an installation date as soon as possible without much warning ahead of time. That happened to us during the first installation. For the last two windows they were much more accommodating about our schedule. *We had an old bay window replaced with a garden window (much cheaper than a bay window) and though the window itself looks wonderful, they put new trim around the window, seems we are responsible for the sealing / painting of the wood trim and surface. The very same day they installed the windows, we were able to set our heater thermostat 1 to 2 degrees lower and still feel just as warm in the house - definitely proves that the windows are energy efficient. We've had the windows a few months now - all is well. Our only complaint is that in my son's room, where the heater and humidifier are on all night, on extremely cold mornings, there is some condensation on the inside of the window.... that's not supposed to be good.... we did not follow up on it with the company yet, but it only happened in his room a few times during the winter.

Windows are excellent quality. Much better than other windows in the rest of the house that were just replaced a few years ago. Installers were on time and the work was performed quickly and with great attention to detail.

They took out the old ones. It is a great company, they are awesome. They were very professional, on point, and on time. I was very happy with them. We have a lot of windows. They are excellent, and I am going to be using them again.

I chose Castle as they have good quality windows at an affordable price. They were were professional and the process went off very smoothly. Its been over a year since the install and I have had no problems. I would recommend them.
