Castle "The Window People"

Got an estimate and placed a deposit contingent on color match. The contract says I have two weeks to see if I like the color. Within one week I decided I did not. I called to cancel and now they are threatening me with legal action. These people are very high pressure. Will not take no for an answer. I am fearful of the trouble this will cause me. BEWARE!

I was amazed. We had 10 new windows replaced, and after working a 10 hour day, I was dreading going home & cleaning for the next 10 hours. But when I walked inside my home you didn't even know they were there. everything was placed back to where it belonged, there was no mess to vacuum. There also was no mess outside, my garden was not even touched. The only thing I had to do was wash the windows and hang the curtains. They were very nice & polite, professional men who installed the windows. The windows themselves are 100% perfect. We could not be happier and could kick ourselves for not doing it sooner. They gave us a date in July for Installation. They arrived in May.

Went well! A couple of issues, but they're coming out to address them.

The windows were manufactured earlier than we expected and we were promptly contacted about installation. Although we were told the installation was scheduled for two days, the four man crew that arrived was able to finish in a single day! Each window was installed with the same consistency in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, the crew did an excellent job protecting our floors and furnishings in every room. When it comes to evaluating the installation crew, we couldn't be happier. Regarding price, we probably paid more than we should, but that's on us. We advise getting several other quotes first and then get Castle's quote. This will definitely help in your negotiating. The windows have definitely helped to eliminate draftiness in our home and helped to maintain a consistent temperature.

We are pleased with the products we received BUT the road from start to finish was long and frustrating. Signed contract 6/11/17, installation was 8/14/17 no biggie except we were told 30 days not 60 and we had to make few calls to press for the date we got. The installer cracked a window during installation. Again no biggie,sh*t happens. The "rush" on the replacement window took several follow up calls to get an another installation date of 9/29/17. My husband takes off, two guys show up without the window and said they thought they were doing a service call. My less then professional conversation with John the manager led to another appointment for the next day. The guy shows up, replaces the window but doesn't have the "j" channel to complete the job. Two days later I get a call to reschedule yet another appointment 2 weeks out and that I had to be home. The rep had no idea the last piece of the work only required outside access and even when I explained he still insisted I needed to be home. One last conversation with the acting manager (I was told John was on vacation) and we were scheduled for the following week which was 10/9/17. The job was completed that day and I was left with pieces of "j" channel in the flower bed. The other criticism would be the length of time spent on hold with customer service; with all the calls I had to make I was NEVER able to complete an entire call on my 15 min. break.

Work was completed in a timely manner, and the doors are of great quality.

Over priced. Lied about installers being Castle employees - were sub-contractors. Sloppy installation - damaged shingle, installed wrong trim, improper sealing - led to a mouse problem over fall and winter. Took storm door that we specified we wanted to keep to use elsewhere on the house. Also expect at least 5 phone calls per week trying to sell you more products and expect them to be very rude and belligerent. Would never use or recommend them.

What an awesome experience!!!! I met with the sales person to review the project. He was prompt, knowledgeable and explained the entire process. Two and 1/2 weeks later my windows were installed. It was a horrible rainy morning but the crew went to work preparing the inside --it cleared after lunch and they worked as a great team until the project was completed. Everyone I came into contact with from the sales person, to the gentleman that came out to do my final measurements, to the scheduler and finally the installers were a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. The Windows look great inside and out--no more drafts and they really cut down on the noise. I am so pleased that I chose Castle and would definitely work with them in the future should a need a rise.

Customer service and management are horrible. Wrong windows were ordered so we had to have 2 seperate times to be inconvenienced and they would not give us a discount and weren't even sorry. Just said people make mistakes.

Fantastic. The provider did an excellent job. He did not stop until the window was replaced and capped. He cleaned up and left the area perfectly. I would definitely use them and refer them to friends and family.

The pricing was a little high. I am very happy with the windows. They installed them properly. They do no leak or anything. Everything is great except the price.

They were a little expensive but they are incredibly strong. They are guaranteed for life.

Installers were rude and the salesman did not represent the product properly. We contacted corporate about our problems and no one reached out to us to address our issues. Horrible customer service!!!

We had the work done on two different dates. The living room and dining room were done first and we had them return to do the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. They were prompt, polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The kitchen window required a little extra care with the bottom sill and they did an excellent job. This is a great company to work with. We love the windows we selected. They took great care to explain all options with prices in an effort to help us make the right decision for our budget and needs.

It went very well! The workers were very professional and efficient. They did not fool around at all and barely took a break. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of the product and of the workers.
