Castle "The Window People"

The window in my living room had a manufacturer defect (the tracts did not engage properly) and fell on my 6 year old sons head when he tried to open it , causing a concussion and glass pieces stuck in his head(1 month after install, around may 10th) it took them 4 weeks to come out and measure to replace the glass, and I was told that it would be another 4 weeks for it to arrive. When the glass came in, they ordered the wrong size, I have been calling trying to get in touch with a manager/ check the status at least once a week since. Customer service is not helpful and in some cases extremely rude! (As if this situation is my fault) Now it’s august 20th and I still do not have my replacement window.

We contracted with Castle for window replacement in January. The windows were replaced within 2 months of signing the contract. The installations went smoothly and the windows made a huge improvement to our home. Problems did arise when they were unloading the windows from the truck. We had requested contoured grilles but the windows arrived with flat grilles. We opted for a discount rather than return the windows. The second issue was that we had requested full screens for the front of the house. Castle sent someone out measure after installation, not using the original measurements. This was 2 months after the fact. Then we received a call from the factory, that the order had been placed without the measurements. We had to supply them. 3 months later, we have still not received the full screens. We had an appointment for their install that Castle cancelled due to a technician calling out. Rescheduling was set for another month out. It will be a generous 4 months from the original installation to get the screens that we ordered. Pretty disappointed. For such a minor fix, it has taken too long to correct.

Castle are very efficient & clean up well after themselves.

I give them all A's! There were no complaints when it comes to them.

They were a excellent company! They weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive.  <br /> <br /> We interviewed about four different groups they were the most professional front start to finish We like to pay as we go and they we fine with doing 10 at a time then 9 at a time. They were very helpful when it came to working with our home association because we had to get a variance since we were changing the colors of the outside window.  <br /> <br /> They sent a crew of two people father and son and they were like clock work it was incredible how fast they got the work done. They left the place cleaner then they found it. Cleaned the windows, vacuumed and cleaned up around outside. If anything goes wrong they will replace it, they actually built the windows here.

The windows were fine. They were a little high. I haven’t had any reason to call them. They have been calling me since they put me on their list. They want other projects. I told them to stop calling, they were calling 2 or 3 times a week. They showed up. They went to their sales pitch quite a bit. Punctuality - They were good on that too. The installers were good on professionalism. I might check with them, I’m not sure if I would use them or not. The price is a little too high. Less likely to use them at the moment. It took less than a day. Area looked very clean. They could lower the prices a little bit.

Front Main Door and two storm doors. Installation representatives were efficient, pleasant and on time. If needed, I would have them do work for me in the future.

Sales was very professional. Follow up to measure and insure proper door was ordered was done by Scott that was very rude and didn't want to be bothered. This caused the installation crew problems and they had to make what was delivered work. They did a great job but it was short of what was expected all due to Scott. I notified the Castle office in the beginning and was told that Scott does what ever he wants! Will never do business with Castle again

Castle called to set up measurements for window manufacture. Their rep showed up on time and was a relatively quick procedure to measure. They called again once windows were ready to install, to set up installation date. Superb job performed by the removal/install team. They called the day before their arrival and then again the morning of arrival. Went straight to work and were productive from start to finish. I had two sets of double windows replaced with double slider windows and you cannot tell the new windows frames are different from what was originally installed. Thoroughly cleaned the work area, to my satisfaction, when they were done. The only problem was they provided only half screens instead of full screens for the double sliders, however they rectified this when informed.

Installation was awesome and fast. Very good job done by techs. Now, the bad. After the project was complete the sales people continue to call to drum up more business. We have asked them to stop calling several times. To this day they still call and last time I threatened them with a harassment law suit. It was a good thing until the phones calls constantly came in. Then they don't know what they are talking about, we mentioned a roof they said they would send someone but this company doesn't do roofs in our area. Stop calling,,,,,,Do not take deal sales person offers, we turned it down and the manager called and knocked $2500 off service. Hold out!!!

Castle was always here on time and performed the work through the contractors exceptionally well. The second set of windows were installed by the same contractors and mostly the same crew from the previous year. Service after the sale was outstanding as well when we needed a replacement pane of glass for a window due to weather damage. The company was easy to deal with and replaced under warranty as guaranteed.

well the products was great. The servicemen did a bad job, they left cracks in the floor at the entry of my front and back door.The back was much larger than the front. The paneling around the back door wasn't secured properly. The front door bottom knob was broken. This was my second time purchasing products and I was very disappointed with the service with the contractors.

Sloppy installation, slow to respond to complaints. Numerous defects. 3 of 5 windows needed replacing. All screens needed replacing. Door delivered with missing hardware. 6 months and counting.

I was very happy with the work. They gave our house. A new face it was beautiful.The worker were very neat and professional.I tell everybody how great they are so if you want the job done right call Castle Windows you will be very Happy

It went very well. First scheduling was rained out but it was re-scheduled for the following week. Installation took all day for 13 windows. I was completely satisfied with the price and the work. The install team did a very good job and cleaned up completely. I still have 3 more windows I will do at a later time and will not hesitate to hire them again.

The windows are great!  The sliding door I had a few problems in the beginning, which they fixed - the door would not close properly and they had to switch out the sliding glass door twice.  Although not sure if the seals are broken, I can clean both sides of the sliding door and it still appears dirty.  It has a lifetime guarantee.  However, I have tried calling the local number but it has been disconnected.  I have contacted the CastleWindows.com website in hopes they will find someone to fix the problem.  I will update this review with the outcome and whether or not the issue gets resolved. <br />
