Horrible service!  After writing a glowing initial review based on my need and his help, I barely heard from him.  He wouldn't respond to my requests.  We had an agreement for initial service, and then bi-weekly service from then on.  He just quit showing up.  No notice, no response to me when I tried to make arrangements...NOTHING.  Do not use this man's service!  The two times he did show up, the service wasn't even that great.  Very patchy.  I assumed after the first visit (and the afore mentioned glowing review) that it was because he caught the yard during rainy times.  The yard needed mowing and servicing DESPERATELY and I was grateful he came in between rainy periods and got it done.  Well the other time he showed up, it was still patchy with missed spots.  Then he never showed up again.  He never called, he never texted, etc. <br />

<p>I bought 3 lawn mowing service from this co. but it?s almost impossible to contact him after the first service. Terrible experience. Accordingly, I do not recommended this person/company. Last about two weeks I was so hassled to contact him. </p> <br />

The initial appointment was a no-call no-show, which Adam indicated was due to having a sick child. The 2nd scheduled appointment went very well.  Adam was on time and had a co-worker with him, I believe his name was Dave.  Both seemed very knowledgeable and professional.  I asked for quote for a complete yard cleanup and some rock work along a lake bank.  Adam indicated he was going to work on the quote that evening.  Several days later and in response to a text inquiring about the quote, Adam provided what I thought was a very reasonable, if not low, quote and indicated the delay in getting me the quote was due to his father having been in the hospital.  I asked when he could schedule the work and he indicated that he and one or two other people would be there the morning of Saturday, June 20 between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.   Saturday morning..no call no show.  I did get in touch with Adam about 10:00 that morning and he said that he was behind due to all of the rain and would be at my house either late that afternoon or the next day, which was a Sunday but he didn't show up.   I called several times over the next week and on Friday, June 26, received a text from Adam's wife saying that Adam had had a really bad heat stroke and had been in the hospital for over a week.  Via text, wished them well, said that I was going to go with another company and that we could work out the Angie's deal I had purchased. I didn't receive a response.   I haven't seen anything posted on Angie's List about him being ill and I've continued to see a lot of different Angie's deals pop up for his services since that time.  Planning to follow up through Angie's list to see what options are at this point.

Well, it didn't go well for us either. Started out ok. He rescheduled on me three times and then finally came out and did it. At first blush, it looked ok, but a lot of the grass was just bent over and the edging wasn't done except in the front. Tried to hire him on a contract basis but he never responded to me, other than an initial text. Fortunately I didn't pay more than 45 and got my key back. It's too bad.

Like another recent reviewer, I was played by this person.  After I purchased 3 mowings for $89 on June 8, Adam contacted me the next day, June 9, and said he was ready to mow my yard.  I asked him if he also did sod and other yard work and he said he did.  I told him when he mowed my yard to look at it as I was also in need of sodding the front yard and other yard services.  He called me again that day and told me my yard was much larger than 1/4 acre and that his deal on Angie's list was for yards of 1/4 acre of less.  I do not have a large yard and know that if it is larger than 1/4 acre it is not by much.  He told me I paid $79 (I didn't have my email receipt in front of me which later verified I paid $89) and I told him to go ahead and mow just one time and I'd let him keep the difference.  He thanked me and assured me he would do a good job of trimming for the extra money.  I sensed I was getting scammed but thought I would at least get 1 lawn mowing out of the deal.  I was wrong.  He has not called me since our June 9 conversation.  I called him on June 16 and he told me he was behind and would catch up on all of his jobs and would get to me by the end of the week (June 13).  I've still not heard from him.  I called him last evening (June 22) and got his voicemail.  It has been over 2 weeks and he will neither mow the lawn nor call back.  I left a message to tell him to not mow it now and to simply work with Angie's list to refund my money.  Of course, I have not received the courtesy of a return phone call.

<p>After purchasing the "deal" for $79 for 3 mowing (up to 1/4 acre) on 6/5, we did not hear from this business for a week, so we tried calling him and left a message on 6/12.  No return phone call.  Called again and he said he had to go out of town and stated the he would call on Monday, 6/15.  He did not call.  We called again and left a message.  He returned the phone call, this time, on 6/15, and said it would be a couple days before he could come over and he would call before he came.  On 6/18 (three days later), we had to call him again, because he had not heard from him.  Adam said that if it was dry on Friday (6/19), Saturday (6/20), or Sunday (6/21) he would come to mow, but would call first.  On Saturday, 6/20, at 9:30, Adam showed up at the house with his equipment (without calling first).  Adam started mowing the front lawn and before finishing with the front, his lawn mower quit.  I offered him my lawn mower to finish up (with my gas).  He finished the lawn and did the weed trimming (most of it), but left places around the sidewalk untrimmed.  After he was finished he came to the door to complain that he did a yard for way too little money.  He claimed my yard was 3 times the size that he agreed to for that amount of money.  I did not mention to him that the trimming was not completed, nor did I mention that he had to do half the yard with my mower and gas.  However, I told him that we could just agree that the $79 that we initially paid would suffice for the one mowing and not require him to come 2 more times, as was the original "deal".  After Adam left, I pulled out my home deed, which showed that my whole property sits on 1/4 acre, including the house, so there is no way my yard is more than 1/4 acre.  It was obvious to me that he just did not want to do the job, so I am grateful he is not coming back!!!</p> <br />

Adam and Dave showed up and trim hedges and removed small unwanted trees from our backyard. It looks so much better. They worked in the heat and neatly stacked all the yard waste for me. I will definitely call Adam again! <br />

Initial work was great but we were completely unable to reach them to schedule any follow-up work. They had told us they would reach out to us within a month. We would have loved to hire them again but they were unreachable.

.Adam spent almost 3 hours cleaning up my neglected yard, working by himself. He's a hard work and a very nice guy. I will use him again and recommend him highly. <br />

Ok so check it out...I inquired about the services at the end of last week.  I gave my address and said they could feel free to drive and do an estimate (but I assumed they'd want me there to discuss).  They did it while I was at work, and I had a very reasonable estimate the next day for the initial clean up and ongoing maintenance.  "Done!", I said.  They gave me the qualification that they weren't sure when they could get to my yard because of the poor, wet weather.  No problem.  Then all of a sudden, they show up yesterday and get the job done!  I didn't even have to follow up!  They just took it upon themselves (AFTER I agreed to their service of course) to go and make my yard presentable.  IT WAS SO EASY AND <strong>SO CONVIENIENT</strong>!  They did a good job (especially considering the yard was wet and hard to mow at the best of times, much less the state it was in at the time), and even called me to let me know it was done, and discuss further how I wanted particular aspects handled next time.  Keep up the amazing work guys! <br />

Adam and partner did an excellent job.  Have contracted him to mow the yard biweekly, possibly weekly, as needed.  The grass in the yard (front and back) was high, and he said that it took 3x mowing in the back to get it mowed properly.  His price stayed the same as his quote, despite having to do more than originally anticipated.  I paid him more, but he did <strong>not</strong> ask for more.  He also did some extra things that he saw needed to be done, although I had not asked him to do anything extra.  He did an excellent job.  Very nice, polite, courteous - and takes pride in what he does. An excellent choice. <br />

A Job Well Done <br />

<p>Contacted Adam via phone number listed in Angie's List review; and asked if he would be able to set a time to evaluate and estimate a large amount of Spring clean-up needed at my residence.  Adam arrived on time and listened as I described the level of work I was requesting.  As we walked the property, his knowledge of landscaping became apparent as he described unique details about most of the trees and vegetation (and invading species).  </p> <p>He advised against some of the work I was requesting until later in the season, and suggested other options that made better sense (and saved me some money).  </p> <p>Once we had agreed on the scope and detail of work, he explained his cost structure and provided options to accomplish the work all at once, or as part of an on-going maintenance plan.  I had previous yard work accomplished by another provider and found Adams pricing to be competitive with my past experiences.  We agreed on terms and date.</p> <p>Adam and another employee showed up on time and well prepared to begin work.  I was impressed with the fact he had appearance standards for himself and employee; professional appearance, but appropriate for the work that we had agreed on. </p> <p>Tools, equipment and safety gear were all of good quality, and in good operating condition...and it was obvious they knew how to use them effectively.  Tree work was accomplished quickly and safely, clean up was well planned and executed. <br /> <br /></p> <p>He is probably not the cheapest available, nor the most expensive, however, he is a professional and takes pride in his work and workmanship...I feel I got more than my monies worth.  I will be using his service for the foreseeable future.   </p> <br />

Adam was wonderful. He went out of his way to provide the firewood. So courteous (and sweet). Seems like he is a very ambitious guy. I'm glad to know him because he is a jack- of -all -trades. It's hard to find reliable people and I think I can count on him in the future. <br />

Can't say enough good about Adam and his crew. Raked all the leaves front and back wasting no time and asked if he could cut down a 20and quot; diameter dead tree and he not only cut it down, he cut it to firewood sized wood, split it and stacked it for me. Then I also purchased a rick and a half of seasoned red oak that he had cut perfect and split and stacked it in the garage and a bunch in the house. Also cut an old 40and quot; stump to the ground, split it for firewood as well. Even took my chainsaw that wouldn't work and fixed it for me. They work fast and hard, never took a break and did a terrific job. I would refer Adam to anyone. If he can't do a job he'll tell you up front. Quality and Honesty is the word here! <br />
