Kelvin and his crew were great. They did our driveway, sidewalk , and porch. On time and very efficient. We definitely will get them again when needed.

They did a great job with the project. They were timely. They were professional, and the overall quality was wonderful. We get so many compliments about our beautiful driveway, sidewalk and new steps.

Kelvin was always available to help with my questions and really visual the project I had. Very nice guy, great work, great team.

Overall I did not have a good experience with this contractor. I think the onwner is unprofessional and wants to argue with owner instead of installing items per owners instructions. Contractor was hired to pour a 16'x40' concrete pad and install a channel drain supplied by owner. The concrete is wavey like a flag with a broom finish that is spotty instead of smooth strokes. The channel drain supplied has a bottom discharge. Contractor wanted to plug the bottom and bring out the side which would only leave an inch of concrete. He finally came out of the bottom with arguement. When preparing the site, he used a rented bobcat. He was told a specific location to place gravel out of the way (owner had text messages). He put it right on the drive path so it can't be used. When asked he said he can't move it because of rented equipment. Now the owner has to deal with it. His equipment rutted the yard. With arguement, he would bring out two yards topsoil, but owner would have to spread it. He brought out 1 yd of mulch. You can't grow grass seed in mulch; it keeps grass from growing. When asked about it, he said he noticed, but still put it down. He said that he would bring topsoil out, but never seen him again.

Be very aware of this company. We were mislead at every step. From the boss telling me for the third time the night before when he and the crew would be there. The boss never showed that day. I saw a problem when they were 80 percent done that was a 3/4” low spot that covered the entire middle of the pad that they were acting like they were done with. I asked, who’s the boss out here? Since the owner didn’t show and none of the ten guys answered. So I said there is a 3/4” low spot covering the entire middle of the pad, and two guys chimed in saying “we told you guys”, and a group of the other guys who were trying to ignore the problem got angry at me for bringing it up. That attempted to throw a little concrete down to fix it but as you’ll see in my pictures they didn’t fix it at all or properly. Just enough to get me to be quiet. Twice I asked a question and the same chubby loud mouthed guy told me not to worry about it. I installed the stone bed and installed the batter boards which is why the job wasn’t $25,000. I had done $9,000 worth of the work. They didn’t edge the sides at all! The boss accepted my payment with his back toward me without looking at me and didn’t say thank you. Incredibly rude, he was only there to make sure he got paid for the pitiful job his employees did. The day the concrete was installed the owner called me after everyone had left and said he would be back first thing the next morning to make some cuts. He didn’t show up, text to let me know or anything. He called at 5:45 pm the next day and acted like he didn’t understand why I was angry that I had missed a day of work and pay. This is the smallest thing. That left a broken rake on the ground at my house the day they did the job. I left it there thinking the owner would want to fix it. When he finally came 2 days later to make sure he got paid for the pitiful job that did he walked past it 3 times and left it laying there for me to pick up. Again this isn’t a big deal by itself, but with all the other problems it’s irritating to see how rude and ungrateful he and his crew were. There were 2 out of ten of the crew that were respectful. I want going to give him a review at all until the check incident happened. It’s then I realized I had to warn other people not to make the mistake I made by hiring c and d concrete The owners straight up lied to me telling me he would be there at the job the whole time work was being done. I now know that he wasn’t planning on being there from the beginning because according to his workers they were the b squad for this company and he works with the A squad. We have a total of 500 sq.ft of the 2500 sq. Ft. Concrete pad that is at some points 3/4” low holding huge puddles of water. We have significant areas of the pad that are 3/4” too high that we will have to grind down to level because that we’re rushing so much to get done. Don’t hire these guys. The owner and his employees don’t feel like they have to do good work. He will have a great attitude when he’s trying to get you to let him do the work, but then that ends. I haven’t ever been disrespected more than this guy accepting payment with his back towards me, not looking at me, and no thank you or anything else. I was so shocked I just walked away. Do not hire these guys.

Kelvin and his team did an excellent job replacing an old concrete front step that had settled over time. It was a small job, but he was able to find a time to do this for us. I appreciate their effort to get this done quickly and recommend C&D Concrete

I am very impressed with my concrete driveway. C&S Concrete & Construction set them a part from the 3 other quotes. They understood what I wanted but noted to me things I did not think of (Sidewalk will not align to driveway, so they include the sidewalk). Other quotes could not start for weeks and C&D jumped right in and got started. All team members were quality work and moved fast when they needed and slow when they needed. Pouring concrete you nee dot move fast. but soothing out was very perfect. It looks great and I am still getting compliments on how frat it looks.

The communication throughout the process was top notch and very pleasant to work with. The crew that installed was respectful and cleaned up well after the job was done. Highly recommended

Kelvin was great from my initial phone call with him. He was prompt in his communication, answered all questions, and followed through on his promises. My new driveway and walkway are great! I would definitely hire again.

Kelvin responded by phone with 10 minutes of initiating my search online for a driveway contractor. He visited my property later that day to review my needs, take measurements, and then provide me with a quote via email in short order. This was during cold weather when such businesses are setting their schedules for the busy season. I then prepared a scale drawing of my desired driveway, and he was good with that and incorporated it into the quote. Once the spring rains let up a little, it was time to go to work. His crew removed the old blacktop drive and also disposed of several buckets of waste material that I had accumulated. HIs crew also brought out 4 cubic yards of dirt that I had requested and filled in a low spot next to the new driveway. Kelvin personally supervised and worked alongside his crew during the concrete pouring and finishing work. He showed attention to detail and pointed out any blemishes that needed to be corrected. Overall, very happy with the work. Good value, easy to work with. Highly recommend.

It went very well. Kelvin and his crew work hard. If you don’t hear from Kelvin right away, wait. He called me 830 pm , because he was working. He called me early morning, about 6am, after I put in the Angi request. Starts early and works late.
