CEDAR SHAKE RESTORATION

We hired Andy and company to clean and seal our cedar shake roof. While cleaning the roof, they said there were a few soft spots over one section of roof. The leaks were apparently located around two skylights in the roof. They said they could fix the roof and repair the leaks by the skylights at a cost of over $7,000. They did the repair less than two years ago. This spring the roof again leaked around the skylines, which they said they repaired. Again, that was only 1 1/2 years ago. The leaks caused a lot damage and cost over $10,000 to repair their mistakes. Obviously, the Cedar Shake Restoration company had no idea what they were doing, as the job was done wrong and caused a great deal of additional damage. I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

The crew did an excellent job. They worked very hard to do a thorough job and made sure the job was done right. The roof repair went very well and they showed me how the roof had rotted before proceeding. The repair was done right and I am confident it will last the life of the roof. They also repaired the cause of the leaks that allowed the water to get under the shakes to rot the roof. Throughout the job they maintained good contact with me to let me know what was going on. They were very professional in their work and did a terrific job. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a highly qualified company to clean and repair their cedar shake roof. Our cedar shake roof now looks new again.

We hired Andy and his company Cedar Shake Restoration to clean and seal our cedar shake roof in Apple Valley is and they completed the job early this spring as we had asked. The roof looks great and we couldn't be happier! We started talking with Andy last fall and we had gotten a few bids for the job and Cedar Shake Restoration was very competitive with their price. Andy and his crew were good at communicating, Very knowledgeable on the job, and reliable to his word every day he was here this week. Most important though is the quality work they did and came in right on budget with no surprises for more bundles or higher costs. The roof looks great and we get a five year warranty too! They even took on an additional project of power washing our Sport Court which looks great too. Yes, I would recommend Andy Stegmeier and Cedar Shake Restoration! Jeff

Andy was very knowlegable on his services and was very polite. As with some other reviews, it took a few times to get him out to give a quote as he got tied up finishing other projects, however, these are the challanges of running your own business and performing the work. If you can be patient, he did a great job at for a great price.
