I knew it was going to be challenging to find an investor that would lend me money for this real estate venture.  I have lived 20 years in a four unit historic condominium building in downtown Jersey City and I wanted to buy the unit above me as an investment property.  But with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac rules, they would not give me a loan because I would own half the building and this would give me too much control over condo association decisions.  I checked with Angie's List where Central Lending was well recommended and spoke with Mark, the president of Central Lending, about my situation and that I needed an unconventional loan outside of Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac oversights.  After many disappointments and on the very last day of my contract with the seller, Mark found a lender.  And on the very last day of the window to the loan, it closed.  I cannot thank Mark and his assistant Judy enough for their patience and steadfast of seeing this through.  I cannot tell you the emotional roller-coaster ride I went through during the 4 1/2 month duration.  There were many moments that I wanted to give up but Mark reassured me that the sale would happen.  Without Mark's personal intervention with the lender and title company, this deal would not have closed.   You can be sure that when I am in the market to buy unit #3, I will not hesitate to contact Central Lending.  Thank you so much.

Mark was simply outstanding!  I first called him from work and that night he emailed to my wife and me, a list of what documents were needed and instructions on how to proceed.  He provided several refinancing options in detail relevant to our situation.  Never did he pressure us in what we should do, but rather guided us in making a decision that would be satisfactory to us, the customer.  He was always available when we had questions or needed advice and always kept us up-to-date with the refinancing process.  He was always up front with us and there were no hidden costs or surprises at settlement, which he had arranged at our home at our convenience.  At settlement, the gentleman explained the purpose of all the documents that we signed and was more than willing to answer any questions that we needed answered.  I would highly recommend Mark to anyone who is looking to refinance a mortgage. <br />

I have had some credit issues in the past whic caused me to be turned down by other mortgage lenders. I contacted Mark after reading some reviews on angie's list just to see if there was any thing that he might be able to do that was better than the typical lenders. He was very positive from the beginning, but also very realistic and upfront. He was able to get me a good rate, much better than i was expecting with good closing costs and through FHA. There were difficulties along the way with the FHA and my insurance company wich made for some bumps in the road. But Mark and Judy were right there and worked through it making adjustments as necessary and keeping me up to date on the process. I would recommend them to others anytime. It took a while to get to closing, but we got there and with a good rate and a relatively smooth process. Many thanks to Mark and Judy, not every broker would put this much time into a relatively small mortgage. <br />

I originally found Mark on Angie's List, with all the great reviews, I had to check him out.  I am a first time home  buyer and Mark helped me with weighing my options with FHA or Conventional.  We ended up going conventional with 5% down, which saved us a lot of money. <br /> I had another quote from another Mortgage lender, which I shared with Mark.  I also told Mark we have 30 days to close, so he definitely had his work cut out for him.  Mark ended up winning the job, he got me the best rate and cheapest closing costs.  He also promised me 30 days closing, which I was very happy he was able to do.  Everything went smoothly, and he was quick to pick up the phone and give me advice throughout the whole process.  He was very upfront with everything, all of the costs were outlined and there were NO hidden fees at the closing table.  I would highly recommend Mark, I am recommending all my family and friends to use him! <br />

Contacted Mark and he quickly responded.  We quickly walked through mortgage application and he found a great rate with favorable terms.  Mark assisted us through the entire process, ensuring we were on schedule.  He even helped us find better hazards insurance rate than we found on our own.  Throughout the process, Mark was very responsive, always available and went the extra mile - often swinging by our house to drop off materials.  I would not hesitate to use Mark again. <br />

Mark was fantastic. We contacted him at Noon on Saturday and set up an appointment to go over everything that evening at 7 pm. We were able to discuss our credit and how much we want to spend on a mortgage with him and he was very honest with us in terms of what he could provide us with versus a conventional loan offered by a bank we previously went to. He advised us about what was in our best interest which may be to go with a conventional loan. My husband and I truly appreciated his honesty and interest in our home buying process. I was having a hard time getting financing from the big box lenders but Mark was able to find me one and at short notice. When it looked like the deal would fall through because of title issues from the seller, Mark offered his guidance and expertise and was right there throughout the whole process. The whole 5 months! No call was to early, late or frequent. Mark was always accessible and immediately responsive. A man of his word. Mark is an extremely hard worker. We had a complicated (to say the least) short sale buying experience and I truly believe it was his hard work ethic and "get it done attitude" that is allowing me to write this review from inside our new home. He went above and beyond to answer all of our questions at all times of the day and even weekends. He had to deal with the bank and two different realtors to get our answers but he always got what we needed. He even helped me with a mortgage question after we made settlement a month later. Our realtor told us from the beginning that he was the best, and lets just say, she wasn't kidding. I wouldn't think twice about using Mark's services again in the future. <br />

Mark at Central Lending is the absolute best. His best quality is no BS !!  He's straight with you throughout the whole process. He works his tail off for you and is very transparent with everything he does. I've worked with other brokers in the past and he was head and shoulders above them. The process of buying a home can be frustrating and at times very scary but Mark walked us through every step and got it done. He worked with our budget and got us the home of our dreams. Mark was great. Got us the lowest APR. Went through Quicken loans, which Quicken contacted us multiple times and couldnt come close to Marks rate on count of they put fees into there rates. Had problem getting our Title from last mortgage companey we were sold to (didnt have) and we had lost our legal copy do to Sandy. Had unofficial HUD pappers that seemed to help. Had to extend a little at a little extra cost, but was well worth it. Dont think we will ever Refi again, but if we have to, will defenatley call Mark again. <br />
