I am the president of an HOA in south Austin with 43 stand alone units in the community. We needed to get our common area fences power washed and re-stained. We received bids from 3 local contractors. CertaPro was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive, but they had the best online reviews so we chose them. They exceeded every one of my expectations. The met with me on site to go over the scope of the project and make sure that they identified exactly what work we needed done. They started the project on the day they said they would start, they communicated with me throughout the days they were working so I was aware of their progress, they finished all of the work ahead of schedule and our final invoice was exactly what they quoted us even though we made a few minor changes during the project. We will have future projects like this when we need to conduct maintenance projects throughout our community and we will only use CertaPro going forward. I can not say enough about how great they were to work with and how they did exactly what they said they would do. 100% satisfied customer here.

I had to monitor the work as corners were attempted to be cut, but overall the work was good.

When two guys came to paint my large home I was concerned. Jesus and Louis did not disappoint! They worked with extreme efficiency and attention to detail. They were on time every morning and left around 5 and I was amazed how much two guys could get accomplished. I would give this team a 5 out of 5 all day long! This job was awarded based upon the following: 1) low bid; reputation (i.e. quality of work; and 3) assurances from sales representative that my home would be respected. They failed on all counts. While the scope of work never changed, CertaPro did not honor the original winning bid, but rather continuously sent me revised, more expensive “quotes” throughout the course of the job. My home was in complete disarray. Every room. There were drop clothes and painting materials throughout the house. At the end of the day the painters would attempt to leave with drop clothes on the kitchen sink, the living room couch and the master bed. They broke dishes in my pantry. The pantry was not part of the painting project. When the painter discovered I reported the broken property to CertaPro he threatened to not finish the painting job. Upon completion the painters attempted to leave with furniture piled in the middle of rooms, they reinstalled window coverings backwards, and the left all of the outlet covers off. The quality of work was poor. I was told the underlying work surface prevented full coverage and this was the best they could do. I provided CertaPro video of my home as well as pictures of the work quality which clearly depicted what I am describing. CertaPro acknowledged the poor quality and sent in a second team to repaint and install outlet covers. This dragged the job to nine days. They also gave me a gift certificate to cover the cost of my broken property. And then they sent me another bill. The Sales Manager asked me not to post a public review and expressed his frustration, telling me despite all of the price increases, CertaPro “ate 90% of the cost”. I maintain this would have been more aptly directed at the Sales Representative who quoted the job, and the painting team who poorly executed the job. I was pretty stunned to read a request to withhold this type of feedback from other consumers. Obviously had I been aware of CertaPro’s business practices I would not have awarded the company my business.

Overall, the job went well, and the work was done in a timely manner. I've already gotten compliments on how good my house looks. Some repairs were done incorrectly to begin with, but when I called CertaPro and pointed that out, the problems were quickly and competently taken care of.

Hired CertaPro for a small and simple job. Medium sized bedroom with smallish closet and adjoining full bath. Person doing the estimate showed up at committed time, completed estimate quickly, price was fair and seemed reasonable (not inexpensive but not extreme), I contracted the job and they were out to do the work inside two weeks. Painters arrived on time, courteous, understood the work assignment, did a great job of prep in covering up all areas and objects not to be painted, they were fast and efficient, in and out in less than a day, made sure to cover in one coat so I could avoid two coats. Crew manager showed up part way through job to check on progress, so it wasn't a case of throwing a crew out there and crossing fingers, hoping for the best. They self inspected part way through the job. Admittedly not a large and complex job, but they aced my expectations so even though small and simple, full 5 stars for excellence from start to finish. I would hire again. DaveB

The entire experience was very professional, easy, and effcient. From Mike the salesman, to Brian the PM, to the office staff who called to check on progress and especially to Miguel and Margarito - two of the most meticulous, detailed painters ever. Price was great, and service was outstanding.

Work was great. I thought this was overpriced for a little over 2 hours of work by 2 painters. ($1,000+)
