1 Day . . . Excellent job ! <br /> <br /> Patricia and her technician arrived, and set to work, but needed to find the paint, she took a sample and was back within the hour. It took about and hour to complete the work and I couldn't be more satisfied. This is my second transaction with Certa-Pro and Tom Noonan and Rochelle make the whole project a pleasure. I would recommend Certa Pro to anyone with a pain job they need done.

When the work was originally scheduled in September, the full job was not originally on the invoice.  We called to let them know we wanted to complete the full job but could complete the other part not listed at another time if needed.  We were told it was not a problem and they would just send a bigger crew and still get the entire job done in 1 day.  A crew of only 2 painters showed up and seemed unaware of the details set up including color matching paint which we were told was not a problem.  They were not surprisingly unable to complete the job in a single day and said they could not come back the following day so we would need to schedule another appointment.  The work that was "completed" was not at all professionally done.  There were numerous spots where they missed the 2nd coat with the roller.  They matched the color but not the texture of the paint for the ceiling in the kitchen which is the large ceiling extending directly into 3 other rooms.  When they rolled the ceiling, they rolled around but did not trim around the light fixture so the original paint could be seen in a 4 in radius around the fixture.  They rolled past the edge of the kitchen ceiling and just stopped into the dining room without even making a straight line break where they stopped and the paint doesn't match.  They painted all of our vents and switch plates to the wall without removing them and even painted over the actual GFI outlets, light switches and a cable connection.  We called to schedule to finish the job and fix the problems and never heard back.  A few weeks later we called again and they told us we could not have a different crew come out to fix and finish the job because it would cost them more money.  After having the sales representative back out to see the work, we were told by him that he would take care of confirming the appointment the office manager had offered us by voicemail that morning with a different crew.  We again cleared out our entire kitchen and packed up the entire downstairs to complete the job which still included work in all 4 rooms and the hallway downstairs only for no painters to show up for our appointment.  When we called late morning, the sales representative didn't answer his phone (never does) and the office manager claimed we never confirmed the appointment.  We then had to reschedule for another day and go through the entire process again.  This time I had a voicemail confirmation of our appointment for the painter to show up first thing in the morning and again no one came.  We left a message for the sales representative which was never returned and  finally found a number and called the owner of the company which was an experience just as awful as dealing with his staff.  The sales representative and the office manager have been constantly blaming each other and the owner was then blaming us for his employees not being able to get the job scheduled and completed.  He told me that I was being ridiculous for being so upset over having to tear my entire downstairs of my house apart 3 times, remove my 2 young children from the house for the day each time and take 2 days of lost wages for his crew to do part of the job unprofessionally and then not show up for the other 2 appointments.  He continued to blame my husband and I for a lack of communication and not confirming the appointments until the 2nd time I explained that I have a voicemail recording from his sales representative confirming the appointment and telling me there was no need to contact him back unless the appointment did not work.  He accused me of just trying to get out of our contract but failed to understand that we still now have to do all of the work ourselves including buying and replacing all of the outlets, switches and plates that were painted over.  This company was initially deceiving but has been extremely unprofessional since they received our deposit and started the job.  The work they do will depend completely on which crew of painters gets sent to your house and if anything goes wrong, their customer service is the worst I've seen so far.  The final straw was when the owner of the company told me he doesn't have the time for this and actually hung up on me.  Don't make the same mistake we did and take your money to a professional company. 

I expected a lot more with all the claims they make. The"office" workers were nice and professional enough. But they subcontract out the actual work to unskilled labor. It shows in the work. Very poor prep, poor cleanup, and damage to property. I gave them a chance to fix it and do a better job and they just sent the same people out again who did the same sloppy job a 2nd time and didn't fix half the stuff they damaged. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Well the painters showed up on time and as is today, only one spoke English. He was the crew leader, but they worked all day, there were 4 painters and they finished up close to six PM. They were VERY polite and removed the curtains and moved the heavy furniture so as to complete the job. They covered everything with tarps and they cleaned up after they finished. It was a great paint project, and I plan to have them back to do the second floor. Another satisfied 'Angie's list' customer. <br /> I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone interested in having paintwork done. <br />

They were an outstanding outside. The came in and gave me an attractive amount rather quickly. Then they preformed the work, and any questions I had they were quick to respond to. They cleaned up the entire site as soon as they were done.

We hired them a few years ago. I thought they were professional and price competitive. Detail oriented, responsive and they did a good job. When we had some problems with the paint they came back and fixed them. I think it was more the house and not their fault.

The service was good. There was a minor problem with the people that he sent. The actual manager sent people to do the work and they didn't clean up well. But the manager then came out and did a great job that made me happy. The quality of the actual work was fine. I thought the price was very reasonable.

They were great. We changed things a little bit and they were fine with that. They came up with couple of good suggestions. They did miss couple of spots and we had just a minor problem with one of the workers and they replaced him right away. All in all, it was a good experience and I would recommend them.
