2 years ago they came to paint the exterior of my home, since then the paint is peeling on the south side that faces most of the sun. I asked them if they were going to put a primer coat before doing the final paint, they said the paint has primer in it. With that being said, always scrape the loose paint, fill the cracks and holes, and prime the surface before doing the final paint.

CertaPro Painters of Renton and Kent did a phenomenal job painting our three-story home! The best part was the low pressure. Painting your house is one of the larger projects you’re going to do, even if you’re not going to do it yourself. It’s expensive and permanent—except, it’s *not* permanent. Paint can be repainted! But not every company is going to be so cavalier about that fact. What I loved about CertaPro is that the project manager/owner who worked with me *was*. At every step of the way, even AT FULL COMPLETION OF MY PROJECT, he assured me they would come back (within a certain, reasonable amount of time) and repaint anything I wasn’t happy with. Where else are you going to get a deal like that? And it did help me over the hump, because I elected to completely change the color of my house. I’ll be honest: I…struggled. I struggled to get used to the new color, I’m not going to lie. Not my husband. My husband LOVED the new color, and he loved the crispness of their work. Knowing I had a little bit of time for it to grow on me really helped, and eventually, I came to love the color, too. Because here’s the other thing about CertaPro: they really did do a *phenomenal* job! I have a tall, tall house, with a lot of nooks and crannies I wanted to paint differently from other nooks and crannies. Well! All my nooks got painted! No matter how high or out of the way. They just kept coming back to touch up whatever got missed. They were VERY thorough. Although I’d work a little harder on making sure I got the right fence color next time. This is the one place I wasn’t entirely satisfied at the end, but it was my fault because I got lazy and didn’t do my due diligence, and then once the color was on the fence, my husband liked it too much and didn’t want me to change it. Sigh. Here’s my lesson learned: I threw the fence on at the last minute. I thought I knew what I was asking for, but I should have asked for a sample. Can’t go wrong with a sample! So, don’t be like me, kids! My husband did end loving it because, again, they are really good at painting and it just looked so nice once it was done, but if I were going to repaint anything, it would be the fence I didn’t properly vet ahead of painting. So yes, that’s my one piece of advice. I looked at all the other colors on the house itself very carefully ahead of painting. And I don’t mean like a lot ahead… For example, the night before they painted my outdoor living room, I looked at the color they brought back and had to change it. I was out the $$ for that little room and had to rebuy the gallons, but that was three gallons of paint cost vs not being happy with the paint. I made the right call. I should have done the same with the fence paint. I should have opened it and looked at it on a sample, in the light. Don’t be like me. But DO hire CertaPro! And take them up on their repaint offers (it’s a big project! Make sure you’re happy!). Who else is doing that for you??

It looks FANTASTIC- what an amazing difference. The crew was courteous, thoughtful, professional and thorough. The pergola has a lot of tricky nooks and crannies and they diligently ensured it was all done right. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

CertaPro Painters did an excellent job painting my house - I liked how how thorough Mike was when he came out to quote the job and how he promptly answered several follow-on emails. When the time came to paint, Daniel did a great job leading the 3 man crew which took half a day to wash, a day to prep and spray, and then another day for trim and cleanup. They were all great workers and did excellent work and I am pleased with the quality (and price) and highly recommend CertaPro Painters. I ended up having several areas of wood rot which they pointed out and will return to prime/paint in a few weeks after I make the repairs.

Mike was responsive, and the crew was efficient and professional. I was very pleased with the final result and the price was reasonable and competitive. The only negative I could find was some debris left behind, tape, paper, scraped paint. It was very minor, no big deal for me. We would definitely recommend, and have already recommended to our neighbors.

It was an amazing experience, from quote to finished job! The price was just right after getting multiple quotes, we were able to schedule quickly and the workers were very nice and communicative. They did exactly what we wanted and we are extremely happy. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent price. Great knowledge about which areas needed sealing and which didn't or shouldn't be sealed. We had a small problem with bubbling of paint in one area after the work was finished. CertPro came right out and fixed the area. Very polite. Nice workers. I will be hiring this company again.

Painters dumped some waste product in the side lawn that was supposedly "bio-safe" but it killed the grass in a circular spot. Project manager was polite and professional at initial meetings and at the post service follow up but somewhat dismissive about damage to lawn. I requested some touch ups that were not performed.

CertaPro did an excellent job. A big crew was sent out to paint - and the entire house was painted in 1 day!! The house looks great - I even had one of our neighbors email me saying how great the house looks and that they were impressed that it was all done in one day. We definitely recommend CertaPro.

They arrived on time and worked continually for 2 days and washed it all first, then masked off areas to paint. Did a very good job.

Paint came out great, couldnt of been happier with Mike and his crew. Price was reasonable, and work was completed on time and all furniture and fixtures were put back in original locations.

Most everything went great. They had to reschedule the start but Mike kept in touch with me about the issues. Paint job looks great. The clean up was a little messy, leaving scraped paint chips around the exterior of the house, not putting items back that they had moved. But I will use them again to paint a new door I am having installed soon.
