Mold & Toxic Material Test
I live in Howell, NJ, and after dealing with ongoing health issues, my doctor suggested that mold could be the cause and recommended I contact a mold testing company. I called Certified Mold Removal, and from the very first phone call I knew I had made the right decision.
They sent Eric to inspect my home, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything. During the inspection, he found mold hidden in my basement HVAC closet that I had no idea was there. The air testing confirmed that we had been breathing in this mold.
The very next day, Robert sent his crew out and immediately got to work removing the mold. They were punctual, thorough, respectful of my home, and kept me informed throughout the entire remediation process.
It's now been a few weeks since the work was completed, and I'm happy to say that my symptoms have completely gone away. I truly believe finding and removing the mold made all the difference.

I was preparing my home for sale and wanted to fix a mold issue before listing it. Ryan completed a careful mold inspection and identified all of the affected areas. The mold removal was done thoroughly, followed by proper mold remediation to help prevent it from coming back. The work was completed on time, and the house now feels cleaner, smells fresher, and is ready for the next owners.

I had a great experience with Certified Mold Removal Inc. They were easy to reach by phone after business hours and I was able to get an appointment in 12 hours. Eric showed up on time and prepared. He was so knowledgeable in showing me all the places mold hides. He made sure I wasn't responsible for damaged property since it was a rental. He was thorough and got every sample I needed to prove the unit was inhabitable. He was professional, polite, and answered the tons of questions I had. He took his time to get the best samples. I rushed the results and got them friday evening confirming my suspicions. Robert went through the results with me and answered all the questions patiently. I would definitely use this company again if I had a concern in the future. Thank you.

Toxicity and Mold Removal
Alaert! I hired this company to test the air in my detached garage and paid $600 for the mold test. The results showed Cladosporium, which is one of the most common molds found both indoors and outdoors. What I didn?t expect was the remediation proposal that followed: over $45,000 in recommended work for a detached garage. In my personal opinion, the scope and price were extremely excessive for the type of mold identified. The quote included multiple rounds of fogging, containment, demolition, and even pages of alarming health claims ? including everything from depression to cancer ? that felt more like fear tactics than practical guidance. I?m not a mold expert, but after getting additional opinions, it was clear to me that the recommended work and the severity of the warnings did not match the situation. I chose not to move forward. If you?re considering this company, I highly recommend getting multiple quotes and doing your own research. My experience left me very uncomfortable

Wow! The service from that guys was excellent! I initially did not want to do this the day that it was requested, because it was my birthday, but even then, it was well worth it. Eric Thoroughman, my contractor who came over to get a quote on the mold and moisture problem, was so good and helpful! He was also really cool to talk to about everything, somebody whose company I could really enjoy. 10/10 for this company. Highly recommend them if you like efficient services and don't want to get ripped off ?

I was provided with an estimate of $500 and was then charged $1650 for lab tests. The testing was conducted two weeks ago and I still have not even received a copy of the report. These guys are con artists.

"I am terribly sorry you feel that way, however we never quoted you $500. The fact is we called you several times to discuss your laboratory test results and never received a call back. Then you chose to write this review the day after we were finally able to get a hold of you. As you know, the lab results were sent 5 minutes after we were finally able to speak with you. To touch on your points: There were 4 different mold species found growing in your home and 3 of them cause illness in humans. Regarding my continously calling you it is customary to keep in touch with our clients. Anything else would be irresponsible! You are selling your home and have a window leak from the second floor that has caused rotting of the drywall on the first floor. If you do not have that wall taken out and the mold properly removed you will be opening yourself to litigation with the buyer of your home. Finally the airborne levels of Aspergillus/Penicillium type mold are 32 times higher than normal. No one ever said this was dangerous, however the levels would not pass clearance testing under any circumstances. In conclusion, we treat every client with courtesy and respect! We take our work very seriously and are saddened that you feel the way you do. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you."

I spoke with Robert all week regarding a possible mold problem. The communication was fantastic. Eric showed up exactly when I needed him and even on short notice. Everything went very smoothly! The inspector was at our house within hours after my first phone call! He was very professional and thorough.
