Outstanding! Not only were they here the day following my request for a quote, but they also were able to do the job within a week of my go-ahead. I then changed me mind about stump removal the day after they took down the tree and they came back that same day and completed my other request. OUTSTANDING SERVICE and the kicker is that they were lowest bid of 3 different tree service companies in the area!

The original idea I had was to remove the spruce and trim a live branch that hung over my house. Stewart said it would be no problem to remove the branch but the tree probably needed as much nourishment as it could get due to the dead center. I agreed and they came when they said they would. The work took a little longer than what they thought but the bill was still what they had estimated.
.Cut down the wrong tree. I cam home and were puuting own mulch without my permission.
Prepared the yard for sod. It rained and could not pur down sod for two weeks. They installed the sod even though the soil completely washed away and the ground had numerous gullies in it. Stewart refused to make any consession in his bill. The sod is already settling.

"Our company has been in the community almost 20 years. We are a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. The accusations stated here are false. After we finished the work for this customer, she sent me an email stating how beautiful her yard looked and promptly sent a payment. We were delayed for a long period of time getting the work completed because of the extremely wet spring. When we arrived back to complete the work, some of the soil that we had put down was washed away. We put down approximately 500 pounds of new soil before we laid down the sod. The customer was not home when we put down the top soil the second time. The bill that she still has not paid is for work completely unrelated to the landscaping in the back yard. She also falsely accused us of taking a rake. We do not need a rake. We have many rakes on each truck. We would never do anything like that. We did make one mistake. We removed the wrong tree. It was a very small tree. I quickly notified the customer. We replaced the tree within a couple weeks as soon as I was able to locate the same variety. Once again, the accusations leveled here are false and slanderous. I am extremely offended by her claims. Unfortunately, I have no real recourse except to present the truth to those that take the time to read it"

Cut down my dogwood instead of correct tree.
Stole my rake.
I came home to find them adding mulch without my perrmission.
Charged $525 to prepared lawn and add topsoil prior to laying sod. It rained washed the soil away and made gullies in the yard. They installed sod anyway. Stewart would not give a discount. The sod is alreay settling.

Response from Cevet Tree Care
"We were contacted by [member name removed] to put sod in her back yard. It was a bare area. We came in and put down dirt to make the area more level. In the mean time, we put down mulch, trimmed bushes and removed volunteer trees. After we put down the dirt in the back yard, it began to rain. Some of the dirt washed down the hill. We brought in approximately 500 lbs of top soil to fill in the areas that were washed out as we put down the sod. I received an email from Pam telling me how good her back yard looked. She then sent in complete payment for the sod and top soil. She did not pay for the mulch or shrub trimming. After I asked for the payment for the mulch and shrub trimming, she found fault with the sod work. [member name removed] said that we took a rake. We have many rakes and do not need any more. We did not take her rake. I had never heard of this either until she was asked for payment of her bill. We did remove a small tree that was not supposed to be removed. We contacted her and found out what she would like to do about the tree. She asked for a replacement tree. We bought a replacement tree and planted it."

We happened upon these guys through a groupon deal. At first we only asked them to trim our wildly untamed hedge out front but then went ahead and got a quote for the trees we needed removed from the front lawn because they were growing into the sewer line.
They price matched the best price I had gotten from other quote and allowed me to apply my groupon.
Aside from just getting the work done I was very impressed at their responsivness via email and voicemail. They really allowed me to commiuncate with them the way I needed to. They took up very little of my time through the whole process but still listened to what I was asking for. Also, I was offered advice on how to help my lawn recover from the process. They really seem to care about the trees and about the customer and try to help do whats best for both.
