"Our company has been in the community almost 20 years. We are a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. The accusations stated here are false. After we finished the work for this customer, she sent me an email stating how beautiful her yard looked and promptly sent a payment. We were delayed for a long period of time getting the work completed because of the extremely wet spring. When we arrived back to complete the work, some of the soil that we had put down was washed away. We put down approximately 500 pounds of new soil before we laid down the sod. The customer was not home when we put down the top soil the second time. The bill that she still has not paid is for work completely unrelated to the landscaping in the back yard. She also falsely accused us of taking a rake. We do not need a rake. We have many rakes on each truck. We would never do anything like that. We did make one mistake. We removed the wrong tree. It was a very small tree. I quickly notified the customer. We replaced the tree within a couple weeks as soon as I was able to locate the same variety. Once again, the accusations leveled here are false and slanderous. I am extremely offended by her claims. Unfortunately, I have no real recourse except to present the truth to those that take the time to read it"
"We were contacted by [member name removed] to put sod in her back yard. It was a bare area. We came in and put down dirt to make the area more level. In the mean time, we put down mulch, trimmed bushes and removed volunteer trees. After we put down the dirt in the back yard, it began to rain. Some of the dirt washed down the hill. We brought in approximately 500 lbs of top soil to fill in the areas that were washed out as we put down the sod. I received an email from Pam telling me how good her back yard looked. She then sent in complete payment for the sod and top soil. She did not pay for the mulch or shrub trimming. After I asked for the payment for the mulch and shrub trimming, she found fault with the sod work. [member name removed] said that we took a rake. We have many rakes and do not need any more. We did not take her rake. I had never heard of this either until she was asked for payment of her bill. We did remove a small tree that was not supposed to be removed. We contacted her and found out what she would like to do about the tree. She asked for a replacement tree. We bought a replacement tree and planted it."
