Their crew did a great job even though only one of them could speak a little bit of English. I think they are all from South America which is fine. Shingles look good when they was done, great flashing job around the chimney, replaced carport roof cause it was rotted and did a good job and cleaned up all the debris good. Overall I was pleased with the work. My only complaint is that after the company is paid this is the last you will hear from them no matter how many times you try and contact them to call you back. Even the GAF roofing warranty papers they have not sent me even though they said they would. And the salesman did call on his own and left a message that he would mail the warranty to me, but I never got them even after I called about it several times and left messages.. So good roof work, but terrible customer service after they are fully paid. It's one of those things they know you will never call them again since I am 59 and will probably be dead before I need them again. Would I call them to do the work again if I am still hear for next roof....yes I probably would, but I will make sure everything I am supposed to get I do before I make final payment.

"Hello. I have reviewed our crm system which tracks our contact with you and calls. We have been in contact with you. Both myself and the sales man have spoke to you several times. I was at your house on three occasions 1 to set the job up 2 during the job and 3 after the job was complete and we walked the property and did a final inspection I also spoke to you on the phone as well as our office manager and our sales rep after the job was completed and explained the warranty process. We did explain to you the paper work takes several weeks even several months since the GAF team was working at home and not fully staffed in the main office. And lastly most of our guys that install are Latino and prefer to use their native language which we support. Thanks again for the business we truly appreciate you as a customer. Thanks!"

Fantastic service from start to finish! John was always willing to answer questions no matter how many I asked. I came from a bad situation and had to have a 12yr old roof replaced...NOT from these guys...so I asked every question I could think of. Aaron, his brothers and the crew did an amazing job, from removal to clean up everything went better than imagined! My roof is beautiful, well all 3...main and 2 patios. Even Nicole in the office was always friendly and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Champion Roofing! I can be a tough customer, I don't settle until I'm satisfied, my expextations were HIGH for this project. Sales, service, install, everything was honestly #1, these folks take pride in their work!! Thank you Champion Roofing...next up, siding!

They were great. Andrew and his team were quick accurate and kind. They completed the project in 1 day and the cost was very low. The clean up was perfect based on me worrying about my pets. They took extra care to not leave anything behind and not damage any of my property. Everyone who shows up has some sort of branding for the company so there's no question who is crawling around on your roof. Very professional.

We had Champion Roofing replace the roof and update the soffit and fascia on our home last year. Our home is a very visible 300 year old historic stone farmhouse, so not just any roofing contractor would do. After getting estimates from other roofing contractors we chose Champion mainly due to the fact that they knew that our home was not just another house that needed a roof. Champions owner saw that our home was different than the others and that we wanted the job to be done that was fitting to the historic aspect of our home. They also went above our expectations. We get many positive complements on the work done by Champion and always enjoy telling others who did the work. We definitely recommend Champion for your roofing needs. Also my wife loves the way the house looks. If the wife is happy, I'm happy.

We had our wrap around porch roof replaced in approx. 2016. It went as I expected it. Brent and his company are great. The quality of the service is exceptional and the price point was right on. They are very trustworthy and honest. And willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Thank you Champion Roofing.

Champion Roofing reroofed my home. They did a great job. Had a few things I wanted fixed after the initial roof was installed, and they made the repairs in a timely manner. They went above and beyond my expectations and were very professional and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The job went well and was completed in a timely manner despite having to re-sheet the garage and porch due to cracked boards under the old roof.

Champion roofing replaced shingles that had come undone from the roof. The work was done professionally and the entire experience left no doubt in my mind that this business truly cares about it's reputation and the work they do.

This is my experience with Champion Roofing, LLC in Altoona. They are popular company in the Altoona, PA area, and for good reason. Their work is fantastic - and they do a lot of community outreach that genuinely helps others. However, if disaster strikes and insurance gets involved, be prepared for a company owner who seems unfamiliar with how insurance claims go. While they were working on my roof, rain was predicted (over 30%), but they scraped the shingles off of my very large roof regardless thinking that the felt would hold off any rain. Well, it rained and the crew went to eat breakfast. But this was a torrential rain, and my wife was frantically dealing with waterfalls in the house and trying to get the crew back on site to help. The damage was extensive covering the entire house from end to end totaling over $20,000 in damages. When the shingling work was done, the owner called me at work demanding payment for the job with this mess still unresolved and without even letting me come home and look at the finished work - this made me feel like he just wanted the money ASAP(something like "this is a family business...I need to make payroll and pay for materials....") and was going to leave me with dealing with the mess... which is pretty much what happened. We paid them in full in hopes that we'd work out the issues. However, the company owner had to be convinced to get his insurance involved and that the damage was far more than a fan was going to dry out - it took me sending a video of water still running out of our ceiling 24 hours later. We lost all of our upper floor insulation and ceilings, insulation and tiles in a drop down ceiling in our garage, first floor ceilings where it ran through the walls, etc. We had elevated utility bills due to the humidity, heat (July-September), no ceilings, and no insulation. We lost our vacation this summer as we had to facilitate inspectors, insurance adjusters, and contractors for months. The initial job cost $21,000 for a 60 square roof - but tack on the $20,000+ physical damages, the displaced family, ruined vacation, utility bills, still dealing with it in January.... I felt alone in trying to recover from this disaster. I don't think it was fair for them to expect full payment and have me foot the bill (beyond what insurance covered) before it was straightened out. Here's what I know what Champion did. **They blamed Owens Corning for faulty felt - not sure how that even worked out - maybe it is, maybe it isn't - but they evidently thought it was good enough to keep using on at least 75% of the house before they decided days later to use their normal felt. **The blamed their distributor for providing felt that was not their standard material. **They told me I had to just wait for insurance to work it out. Well, that's not possible as I'd still be here in a wet, stinky, probably moldy and ruined home - the insurance companies are still trying to work it out between each other (6 months later). We had to file a claim with our insurance and get a disaster recovery team out ASAP and begin the tear out and repair. Waiting 6+ months to see what they will do is not a reasonable response/approach to this - and our mortgage lender was also notified...so if we waited as instructed, we would be held liable for negligence in dealing with protecting this investment. **With Champion blaming Owens Corning but still covering 75% of our roof with the "faulty material," I wanted to know my warranty (manufacturer and installer) was still going to be honored. No matter how many times I asked, I could not get an answer, so I had to file a consumer complaint with the PA Attorney General. That resulted in getting the answer (but not after a lot of back and forth) as well as my deductible returned (yes, I still had to pay the $2500 deductible to even get started in recovering!). I'm appreciative that I got both, but so very frustrated that it took all of that to make it happen. **Champion traded a lot of texts with me - to my own admission, I got really frustrated at times, but still think I was a tad justified. But the responses from Champion showed no ownership of the issue but a lot of unbelievable defensive posturing and finger pointing. Not something you would expect from a company you trusted and the job was botched so very badly!! If you choose Champion, they will probably do a very good job on the roof - mine looks great. But if damages occur resulting in having to get insurance involved, good luck. This was a miserable experience for us - hopefully Champion learned how this works. I do not doubt a rebuttal will be posted - that's one of the reasons I've saved every text/email in the event that this experience is portrayed as inaccurate.
Response from Champion Roofing
"Hello [Member Name Removed] sorry about your experience. We regret to hear you're not satisfied with the claims process of our insurance company. We have followed their protocol 100% we even covered your deductible as per your request. We have followed up several times with Owen'[Member Information Removed] Corning and their faulty underlayment, although they admit there was an issue they refused to replace it. As for the weather report calling for 30% that is false the roof was tore off and then dried in to manufacture specs the day before. There are a few other things I'd like to dispute as well, but I feel it'[Member Information Removed] best to just move forward. Your roof turned out great and you have a great warranty which we will always honor. Thank you for your business and hope all is well. Thank you for the review as always we will keep improving and work towards perfection. Thanks again!"

This was a match made in heaven. An amateur who professed to be a professional roofer told me that I needed a new porch roof when I wanted a price on soffit and fascia. He said that it needed replaced because it that was leaking and was rotting underneath the shingles. He said that he is an expert in metal roofing. It was all lies and he did such a bad job that it now did start to leak. I had 3 well known local roofers tell me the exact same problems with the metal roof and how he cut corners. Brent Zimmerman and his crew removed and replaced that horrible looking metal roof with beautiful shingles. They did professional work and explained everything they were doing. They also told me that the original roof wasn't that old and didn't need to be replaced. I am now proud again of how my home looks. BTW - I no longer have the money to pay for soffit and fascia thanks to T & M Remodeling.

The guys did an excellent job, finished earlier than we expected, and on budget. We really appreciated the clean up they did at the end of each work day, allowing us to utilize our yard and deck easily in the evening hours without worrying about nails or other construction detritus.
