AWFUL! Messina Plumbing & Heating was hired as a sub contractor through Garrison Homes to install plumbing fixtures I provided as well as install new HVAC systems in a home I owned. Doors were left wide open in the middle of winter with the heat on while the guys went to lunch, the drains weren't installed properly and caused damage to the walls and floors in the lower level, and they refused to provide documentation that repair work was completed nearly causing the buyers to lose the property. The owner, Charlie Messina, claims he stands behind his work but does not!!! His guys left a mess every time they were at my property and I got billed by the contractor for cleaning it up...repeatedly! I would NEVER recommend Charles Messina's companies!!!

They showed up on time and did what we wanted them to do. It is the same technician who came out all of the time. It was going into the fall time and I wanted the filter changed.

At one time I had a lot of issues with my HVAC because I had a crawl space and there was a lot of moisture in the crawl space. That had an effect on the moving parts in the heater underneath the house. I was introduced to another company who took out my insulation because I don't need it. It is air tight. This is the reason why I don't have to have as many service calls because there is no moisture effecting my HVAC. I was at one time one of their best customers, so they would respond really well. I'll be using them this fall.

It went really well. Excellent equipment and excellent professional install. I really could not have asked for anything better!

We called Charles Messina Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC (hereinafter called Charles Messina)  to give us a price quote on installing a vent from the existing exhaust fan in the master bathroom to the eve of the house.  The technician arrived at the stated time, immediately went into the attic to assess the situation and quoted us a price.  After getting the quote, we asked if he could install the vent that same time.  He said he had the time to install it; however, since he was only here to give a quote he did not have the materials to do the job.  This was understandable since we only asked for an estimate.  We decided to give the job to Charles Messina and advised the technician that we had the materials since we thought we would install at one point.  He agreed to use our materials and do the job before leaving.  We were charged the hourly rate, less a senior citizen discount.  He was very courteous and cleaned up the job before leaving. <br />

<p>A close friend had used Charles Messina Plumbing, Electric & HVAC and highly recommended the company indicating they were multi-tasking and did outstanding work at a fair price.  We contacted them to give us a quote on some electrical work throughout the house.  We needed a new 20amp breaker and a new GFI receptacle, plus to check to see why a 15amp receptacle seemed to be overheating.  The technician installed a new breaker and an outlet in our basement and replaced an outlet in the living room that was overheating.  The technician was polite, informative as to what needed to be done, thorough, and cleaned up after the job was accomplished.  Materials were $28.25, labor was $129.00, with a senior discount, the bill came to $141.00.  We would hire the company again in a heartbeat.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />

The staffs were very friendly. They were right on-time. They left the area just like it was when they got there. They were good.

Took the drain in the bathroom sink apart and cleared out the blockage.  Used a toilet auger to clear out the blockage in the toilet.  Replaced the missing washer in the outdoor faucet.  All worked well after he was completed. <br /> After we paid the bill I noticed that the technician on Friday gave us a Senior Discount (10%), but we did not get the discount on this service call.   <br />

Thought the problem was in the buried cable to the tool shed. Isolated the problem to the outlet on the shed Proved the buried cable was OK. Power was resorted at the shed. <br />

It went great. They did excellent work, they were prompt, and on time.

Tim the repair technician arrived promptly to analyze. He contacted the manufacturer representative and discussed the situation, ordering parts that day. When the parts arrived, they were shipped incomplete, so he could not initiate the repair. When the motors arrived, he installed same day, but it did not solve the problem, and he had to order parts two more times. The technician was very professional through it all. Explained the reason for the different steps and keep us informed through the process. I was not here when the final circuit board arrived, but my staff informed me that Tim was on the roof installing that board in the driving rain. ed the final circuit board in the driving rain, because he knew how long the heat pump unit was down, and the level of frustration (and despair) that a no heat situation that spanned two weekends was affecting us we run a small motel, and the defective unit caused no heat in two rent-able units). Very happy with Charles Messina, especially with Tim's customer service. Not so happy with Daikin, however, and will avoid their products in the future. The error code system that they use was not clear on what needed replaced, and I ended up spending $2700 on parts alone, with the last circuit board having a hefty $1500 price tag.

We have an old house with old water pumps and fixtures, etc. and, seemingly, when they go on the fritz its always a friday night or leading into a holiday weekend. The guys at Messina have always come when necessary to resolve the variety of plumbing issues that result from this combination, which is particularly helpful with an infant in the house. If an emergency they always let me know when they could get there or if it was a scheduled service call, they always give me a call when they are on their way so I don't have to wait around during a and quot;servicing windowand quot;. Because of the old and testy nature of some of the equipment in the house they taught us some tips and tricks to keep things running a lot longer than expected. Thanks guys!! Next comes the furnace tune-up and washing machine installation. <br />

Once the second appointment was scheduled, the worker showed up early and went straight to work installing the fans. He had the all the appropriate tools and knew exactly what he was doing and how to do it. He completed the work in a timely professional manner. I count not have been more pleased with the work he did and the way the fans work. We have had several complements on their appearance.In short, we recommend the workers, but you may want to verify that the work has been scheduled. Would have an overall A rating if the clerk had done her job correctly. We would use them again for any of their services. <br />
