Matt and his helper arrived right on-time, explained what they were going to do, and went straight to work.  They cut access holes in the ductwork (something that was NOT mentioned when the job was scheduled), removed the duct grilles, and ran their hoses.  Three hours later they were replacing the grills and installing access covers (so next time will go faster).  Matt was great -- found a couple of areas where debris from a past remodelling job was blocking air flow and removed it.  Much better now!  Only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that his helper was not familiar with removing grilles and reinstalling them.  I had to replace several fastening screws because he couldn't figure out where they went and just left them lying there.  <br /> Otherwise, they did a great job for not a lot of money.  I would use them again. <br />

It went very well.  A couple small, slight matters with final cleanup, but that was to be expected. <br />

They weren't able to pick up the rug for cleaning as originally scheduled, but they called and explained the situation.  They called prior to their arrival on the rescheduled pick up day.  They were professional and made sure I knew the time frame involved for cleaning and returning the rug.  I did call about the return delivery when I had not heard from them in the expected time frame.  They scheduled delivery for the next day.  Again the called prior to arriving with the rug.  The rug looked great and there were no strong chemical smells.  I am sensitive to odors and was very pleased with the result. <br />

<p>Purchased a house built in the 60's which had been a rental for many years and then vacant for months.  Having the ducts cleaned was high on our priority list.  They arrived promptly, were very professional and cleaned up completely after they were finished.  Highly recommend them and will use them in the future for other services they offer.</p> <br />

They were good, professional and did a great job getting rid of the water in our basement. They put fans down there then came back and put everything back. You can't tell that we ever had any water. The price was good.

Chavez did a fine job coming in on a Sunday night and getting all the water out of our basement and setting up drying fans and dehumidifiers. The work crews are great. These guys work hard and the worked ALL NIGHT. The problem came when everything was dry and ready to be replaced. Needless to say, it didn't happen. I called Chavez over and over to have people out to replace the carpet, replace the drywall and install new baseboards. Although I received numerous promises, no one ever came to make these repairs. I ended up giving up and hired people on my own to complete the work. It appeared to me that because Chavez was going to receive payment from our home owners insurance, they didn't care if they completed the work or not. They ended up charging for work they didn't do and I had to make certain the insurance didn't pay Chavez for that work. I will never use Chavez again. Service Master will be who I use if I ever have such a disaster again. As a final note, the work crews from Chavez were great. Those guys were very professional, on time and busted their butts while they were at my house. <br />

It went great. They came out around 8:30. Told us it would take 4-6 hours. They were done at about 1:30.  Our house is old (1929) and the furnace is about 50 years old, so everything was really dirty, but they worked hard to get it as clean as possible.  They hooked up a big hose to the basement ducts and sucked the air through it then went in by hand to clean the coils and the blower fan.  They also took off each of the registers and cleaned them and the air returns.    We are very satisfied.

Chavez was punctual and thorough per their agreement (did not move couches,buffet,beds, dressers),   They did an excellent job of removing cat urine stains.  I do not know if their price was "excellent" because I did not do a lot of comparison pricing. <br /> <br /> <br />

Was able to get to me the same day my basement flooded when most others I called had several days wait.  Did a great job overall.

They arrived at the correct time to give the estimate and set the date for the actual cleaning.  He explained the procedure and was honest about what he could do and not do ( we have two small dogs).  The day of the scheduled cleaning, their truck arrived and two of the workers introduced themselves and had ID.  They moved the heavier furniture and then began to clean the carpet.  I was amazed at the amount of dirt...WOW.  It took about two hours.  The carpets smelled fresh and looked cleaned, but...after they were completely dry, they looked even better.  About a week later I received the bill.  It was exactly as the estimate was.  I would recommend this company to any home owner...they are honest, hard working and the results are A+  <br />

They are very professional.  They do what they say they are going to do.  They respond right away and they have all the equipment that they need to do the job.  They do a good and thorough job.  I don't know how to compare the price because I haven't used anybody else.

We used the services of Chavez Restoration & Cleaning for cleaning carpet in our basement and they were very very good, very positive. The basement was flooded and the sump pump did not work nor did the backup for that matter. They came in here to assess what they were dealing with. (inaudible at 00:01:32) is some of it is carpet and they lifted up all of the carpet and they put fans under it. They dried everything out in three rooms down there, two bedrooms and a restroom and they lifted things off the floor that were little rusted and they put everything back exactly like they were supposed to. They were excellent to be honest. They had everything complete. They did not go halfway. We had some comforters down there and there were some sort of lot of stuff that were expensive. They got all of those things completely dry-cleaned and dried out as good as new. I never thought that. They knew exactly what they were doing. They knew exactly where the water was and where the water was not. It was not flooded like inches thick. It was just enough to (inaudible at 00:02:45) everything.

They were very efficient and very professional. They did an excellent job. They were in and out in like two-and-a-half hours. They made sure they put plastic corner protectors on my wall, so, that they did not tint my walls. They cleaned all my great room. They moved all the furniture except the pieces I did not want them to move for no additional charge. They cleaned two bedrooms and my office. They do not move beds, but that was fine with me because they cleaned underneath it by lifting the bed skirts up. The stairway to my basement has not been this clean since I moved here twelve years ago. It looks like they have just been newly carpeted. I paid $290 because they traveled from Lawrence to my town; there was a fee for travel, but I had a 10% discount coupon from Angie’s list, so, the discount I got actually paid for my first year’s membership with Angie’s List. They said they were going to be here about 9, and those young men pulled in my drive way at 9 o' clock.

A pipe broke in my basement flooding my den. Even though it was my homeowner's insurance company that hired Chavez Restoration, I could not have chosen a better, hardworking company. <br /> The team actually did not clean my carpet - it had to be removed. Also, since my walls were in danger of molding because of the flooding, they sealed off the basement and made sure every inch was properly dried. Once dry (which took a couple of days and a lot of work on their part), the broken pipe was repaired, the drywall was replaced, and the walls painted. <br /> Chavez Restoration did such a thorough, professional job cleaning and repairing my basement that I do not hesitate to endorse them for any/all home or office services. They really are great!
