Charged excessive fees and pressured billing. Only completed 1/3 of the work then demanded payment in full for all of the work. Left holes in walls that cost thousands to repair. Left open and unsafe electrical switches. Left green stickers all over my house that won't come off without a sticky residue left behind.

They were in touch with me immediately after submitting request. They have done an excellent job, including a little more work than originally expected.

Chesapeake electrical just finished replacing an outlet on our 32 year old home. They also inspected the whole electrical system and offered options to upgrade our house to current standards. The technician, Brian, was very experienced and fixed our problem right away. Too many Christmas lights, too much recent rain and trying to charge an electric car on a 110 line! They came out the day after we called, the scheduler, Jackie, was very personable and determined to get this ordeal over for us. Our immediate problem was not too complicated but I can see down the road we may need more substantial electric repairs and we will be calling Chesapeake electrical for what we need. I recommend everything about their operation. Last comment and probably the most important comments moment, the cost was very reasonable. Fantastic service. My strongest recommendation. They were solution oriented— not simply profit motivated.

I called Chesapeake Electric to install 2 dusk to dawn outdoor lights. They gave me 3 quotes: 1- over $11K to replace electric planel and install lights, 2- $3700 for some panel work and light installation, and 3- $597 for light install. When I selected option 3, he snuck in a maintenance plan making the total over $800. I stupidly signed and gave a deposit. As I thought about it, I called another local electrician who quoted me a price of $200 an hour. I called to cancel with Chesapeake Electric and it was 3 calls and 4 days before I got my refund. Meanwhile, the lights were installed for $380. Shame on you Chesapeake Electric!

We had an outlet that was crackling and causing outages throughout our apartment, so we needed someone to come help us asap. Once we called Chesapeake Electric, Ethan and Casey were onsite within 2 hours. They both were incredibly friendly and helpful, and diagnosed the issue quickly. Ethan took the time to take me through my options and went out of his way to make sure I understood each one. When Ethan and Casey had to leave due to scheduling, Terry and David came through and were just as friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed my issue quickly, took the time to explain everything that they did/found, and Terry even pointed out an outlet in my bathroom that wasn't up to code and offered to add it to their scope. I had an incredible experience and could not recommend Chesapeake Electric's services more. We will absolutely use their services again and will be specifically requesting to work with Ethan, Casey, Terry, and David. Thank you!!!

Our experience with this company has been excellent! We had an outlet in a bedroom start sparking and this company sent someone out immediately to assist. Christian came through and evaluated our home, noting aluminum wiring tied into the outlets which caused damage to that particular box and resulted in an electrical fire. Christian was very transparent and open about available packages and prices for services to replace our outlets and switches to a safe standard. Katie’s courtesy texts ahead of appointments were extremely helpful. Their office was also very understanding and flexible when it came to scheduling changes. In particular, electricians Terry and David made for an exceptional experience. They are were very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our questions and concerns. They were transparent with the plans for our services and made sure we understood prior to starting each day. They noted any issues they came across during their work. They even educated us on our system, informed and showed us where there were signs of wear, and told us what to look for in the future to ensure our safety. We found their work ethic, communication, and workmanship to be impeccable. They were both timely with their work while giving our system its due attention. We highly recommend this company.

The electrician did a quality job by relocating the light fixture; however, the actual charge was $195 or 65% more than the estimated price of $300. Owner refused to pay the extra $195 and the realtor had to pay it. Electrician also didn't replace two regular recessed light bulbs and the realtor would have to buy the light bulbs from Home Depot and installed himself.

They worked very safely and efficiently. I have complete confidence and we have been completely satisfied. We intend to continue to use them.

Very smooth, easy scheduling with Ryan. He explained what materials I should order beforehand and the team supplied LED dimmers. 2-man team arrived on time, were courteous, efficient, and did excellent work. I will be calling Ryan for any other electrical jobs we have in the future!

I didn’t have the parts for the ceiling fan but they provided the rough in for it. They were on time and professional. There were some additional fee for supplies which is expected.

The work went great. A representative looked over the situation ( a 3 story townhouse), decided it could be done and gave us a solid price. The two person crew who did the work were punctual, efficient and neat in their work. The detectors and wiring was installed with no damage to the paint. The job took them about 3 hours. My wife and I were very pleased.

Very well. I bought the deal for 2 hours for $249 - they sent 2 people for one hour, which was great because they got the job done faster. Robin was the senior tech, Mario the junior. They were very efficient yet did a solid job. The job lasted beyond the 2 man-hours of the deal, and the extra was charged at $35 / 15 minutes. Overall it took 2 hours, and the total cost was $389. I am very happy with the work and would definitely use them again.

They struggled to get the ground run through my basement ceiling, but despite the extra time spent, they still charged the quoted price. When the inspector came a few days later, he complained that the electricians were not there to meet him. (They had been at the stated time but left before the late arriving inspector.) We did pass inspection, regardless.
