He did a great job.  He then came back later after the tub was dry and did some grouting.  He was very nice, on time and the tub looks great.

I called Paul in the middle of October to get a ballpark estimate of the cost to reglaze our 1964 bathtub with shower and tile surround. He returned my call the next day and asked a series of questions (Were there glass doors with a frame? What condition was the tub in? What was the condition of the tile? etc.). We had no glass doors or frames and overall the condition of the tile and bathtub were fine (no cracks or chips), but the grout was beginning to get moldy.  He gave me an estimate of $550. <br /> A week later, I called to ask him to perform the work. Initially, he was going to come out to give me a firm estimate. However, after calling several places, I was pretty sure that I wanted him to do the work. He was very pleasant on the phone. Plus, he explained the process: he cleans the area to be sprayed, hooks up a vent that takes most of the odor directly outside, and sprays the designated area. The whole process takes about 6 hours. Then I need to let it dry for three days.  <br /> He arrived on time on October 31 and did exactly what he said he was going to do. When he finished, there was an odor (like a nail polish salon) upstairs where the bathroom is. He said that it would be gone that night. To my surprise, it actually did disappear by nightfall. We kept the bathroom closed for three days, so the odor lingered in there. Once we opened it up, the smell disappeared within a few hours.  <br /> The tub and tile look great. He recommended using a little dish soap with water to clean and maintain the new surface.  Thanks, Paul! <br /> <br /> <br />

Paul Chestnut was very professional and helpful. He did a wonderful job on the tub - it looks new. The surrounding tile, floor and walls were completely covered before he started working. Paul explained the process, how many days it would take to properly dry and how to clean. The resurfacing has a 5 year warranty which was very important to me. <br />

Paul Chestnut was our contractor and was awesome from start to finish. He was very concerned about the amount of enclosure our plumber wanted to remove to repair a leaking valve so before work even began he made a point to be here to work with our plumber to ensure the best possible refinish. He was prompt for every day he was here to work. He was exceptionally clean and paid very close attention to detail. His work was outstanding and we would have him back again for any other refinishing work. He was able to match the texture and pattern in the original enclosure exactly. We are thrilled with the work!!!! <br />

Paul was very responsive and completed the job within 48 hours of my call.  If he was running behind schedule, he called to let me know.  Paul was very professional, focused, and got the job done.  He did a great job of prepping the tub to ensure the finish went on perfectly.  Overall, our tub looks brand new and we are very pleased.  From a customer service perspective, Paul indicated that if there were any problems in the future to just give him a call and he would take care of it. <br />

He came three times.  First to give a quote and inspection.  Next, he came to do the actual work - on time and within the time he said he needed.  Finally, he came after the tubs had cured, and reconstructed the shower enclosures.  Exactly as planned. <br /> <br /> <br />

Paul got back to my phone call within 30 mins. Gave me a quote on the phone, set a date to complete the job. Paul showed up on time, worked very hard took the shower surround off filled, sanded and cleaned the bath and shower surround. He taped around the bath and shower and then painted it. The job was very well done. I would completely advise anyone to use his skills. After the job was complete Paul said I would receive a 15% discount for being a Angies list subscriber.   Thanks Paul <br />

After 4 hours of working on the shower to get to the root of the problem, Paul discovered that the structure of the stall itself had been seriously compromised over a long period of time. The damage was far beyond needing just resurfacing which is Paul's area of expertise. Paul explained to me the nature of the damage and recommended another bath specialist who might be able to help. He took photographs of the damage and sent them to the other contractor. After he was certain that the other contractor had received the photos and that I had the contact information, Paul left. There was no charge from Paul even with spending the greater part of a day on this job and helping us to get a resolution. The contractor Paul recommended did the job and his charges were reasonable considering the extent of the rebuild needed to the shower stall. <br />

Went great!  Real easy to work with and a great attitude.  I took pictures but don't see a place to upload.  He's been doing this for a long time so he knows what he's doing.  Refinishing is way smarter than removing and putting in new.  It's also quicker and easier.  They look fantastic and brand new too!  Paul did a great job.  Have pics but don't see where to upload. <br />

He answers his phone and is easy to communicate with. He came back and took the paper off  and checked his work after it set for 3 days. Countertop and sink now look new again. <br />

Paul graciously came to work for us 2 days after my husband called him, which was a Saturday.   Paul was professional and respectful.  We are very happy to use the new shinny bathtub and shower pan.  They feel very smooth as well.  We highly recommend Paul for his excellent and prompt service. <br />

The bathtub in my master bathroom was in desperate need of repair and I didn't know where to start. I saw several ads and actually made an appointment with one of the companies advertised. I was, however, uncomfortable with the fact that I knew nothing about them. I went online and read reviews; some were very bad. I cancelled the appointment. I remembered hearing good things about Angie's list and decided to check it out. I really liked what I saw! I joined, called Paul and he came right out to inspect. Several days later, he did the repair and refinishing. He came back out to caulk . .. . . and I now have a "like new" tub. It's beautiful. Paul is very responsive, friendly, dependable, fairly priced, and does tidy and excellent work. He's also thorough - told me everything I need to know about caring for my new finish (simple tips). Refinishing is all he does so he really knows his stuff! We are already planning to have him back to do more. Next stop - shower. Thank you Paul - see you soon! :-) <br />

It was great. I like the information of the product, quality offered. He ended up recrating my shower and liked the way it went the process and quality. The work he said he is going to do was on time, quality was good, service was good and just enjoyed it. I will definitely use him for the services.  He was nice to work with, he explained the process, he was clean, picked after himself.

They were personable, yet professional. The work was excellent. A few months later, something happened and and finishing cracked and peeled. We called him back and he came right out and fixed it, no questions and no charge!

Left a message with Paul for an estimate. He called back a couple days later and was able to stop by immediately. He gave me a quote for a standard bathtub job and I was able to schedule the work for two days later. On the day of the work he called and said he was running a bit late. Once he arrived, he went to work quickly. I left him in the house to work as it was not occupied yet. I came back to a brand new looking tub! Paul made this an easy, quick, and clean job. I wish all home projects were this smooth. <br />

Paul did an amazing job and our bathtub looks brand new! It is now a beautiful glossy white. I called for an estimate and was able to schedule the work within a week. Paul takes pride in his work.  He arrived within the estimated time scheduled; took care that fumes, dust, and overspray were vented to the outside, and even cleaned the tile. Paul did and excellent job resurfacing our fiberglass tub/shower combo,bathroom counter and sink. <br /> He arrived on time and was courteous and professional.
