I hadn't used my condo's fireplace in the 7 years I owned my condo. I am going to be renting it out so wanted to make sure everything was ok. The technician came over on time (even earlier) and inspected the chimney. It turned out that no cleaning was needed. I was only charged for the inspection and even used the Angie's List coupon. He gave me some advice on screens to use in front of the fireplace and referred me to a vendor.

We had him inspect and clean out both chimney and pellet stove. He was very thorough and showed me where to clean in the pellet stove (hidden compartments). He was meticulous and didn't leave a mess at all. He was very knowledgeable and recommended where to go to look at wood burning inserts and/or stoves. <br />

loved his answering machine message! really cute. he was prompt, efficient, informed me of condition of my chimney, that I have a few cracks, but that it is not emergent to fix them just to note they are there. did not push doing extra work on me, was the least expensive of the 3 companies I called
