Choice Construction

I contacted Adam with Choice Construction for a project that involved removing a load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room. Removing a wood stove and Chimney and install a chase around previously exposed return ductwork. Finishing it up with all the drywall, paint and finishing touches involved with the flooring where the wall and fireplace previously were. Adam got back to me with a very reasonable price. Brian, AJ and Warren arrived and immediately began work. They all put in long, hard hours and never stopped working. Brian was incredible and and went above and beyond to make sure this project came together perfectly. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate the excellent work that was done by these guys. The finished project looks amazing and it looks like a photo right out of a home improvement article. If you are looking for work done, contact Adam. They will definitely be worth the call.

I needed help installing a new patio door and leveling and repairing subfloor and a joist that had significant water damage. Adam was able to come out quickly and was very helpful in understanding what needed to be done. Once Adam was able to work out a very reasonable estimate, Brian came out the very next day and got to work. He worked extremely hard. This job took two days and I don't think I saw Brian take one single break. He has a tremendous work ethic and is very attentive to every detail of the job. Very professional and polite and I would definitely hire again.

Price was fair. Wood decking replaced with composite, metal railings replaced with vinyl. Good communication by email and/or phone, workers friendly and professional.

Outstanding job no probems

We had an idea of what we wanted, but they were ready to help with design ideas as well. Everything went very well and they finished in an extremely timely manner. Their time table was accurate. Great job!

My bathroom was a very scary dark little room that was so small I couldn’t use the shower. Adams crew started work a few weeks after giving me estimate and did a great job. The photos will speak for their work more than I can.

It was good. I am satisfied with the service. They did exactly what I wanted and it turned out good. Price was competitive and they kept in touch with me all the time.

They do great work at a great price. It might take awhile to get them to your house because they're in demand, but it was worth the wait. High quality work and craftsmen who really care!

Nicole was our contractor. We purchased an Angie's list deal for a full bath remodel for $4400 and added upgrades to what was included. We could not be more pleased. Nicole was extremely detail oriented. She communicated well and understood what we wanted. She was always punctual and we felt very comfortable having her in our home when we weren't there. Choice Construction LLC is hands down the best contractor I've worked with! I have rental properties and work with contractors all the time and Choice Construction was the contractor I've worked with so far. Adam and his team are very professional, precise, quick and positive. They went above and beyond to do a great job with my bathrooms. I hired Choice Construction for for two bathroom remodels and they were so good that I hired them to complete all the other work that needed to be completed. They do not only do kitchens and bathroom, but they do everything (doors, windows, siding, flooring, drywall, restoration, painting, etc.). My house looks excellent. The house is so old and had so many problems, but it wasn't anything that they couldn't fix. Every problem that came up was fixed immediately and the outcome far exceeded my expectations. Choice Construction has a team that is so talented that I would hire them for every other project I need completed. The prices are very reasonable and the work and craftsmanship is done to perfection. I will definitely recommend Choice Construction to anyone who needs a project completed. Great Company!!!

Adam and his crew at Choice Construction took a dysfunctional master bathroom and turned it into a showroom floor bathroom to be proud of. I told him what I wanted and they made it happen. Quality work at a great price.

The project went well and took about two weeks. Workers showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and worked tirelessly for 8-hour days. The few problems or concerns were immediately addressed and/or corrected. The finished project is beautiful and exactly the solution to allow elderly homeowners to safely and comfortably to remain in their home. Homeowners are thrilled with the results.

Great design

The process was smooth, on time and professional. They went an extra mile to provide great work and clean up.

Before purchasing the deal, we emailed Adam to determine if the work could be completed within a few weeks. He called immediately and came over the next day for an estimate, and his crew started the job the following week. It took 5 days total to do the work, and they did a great job overall. They do very good carpentry, dry wall, and tile work. At our suggestion, they reused some of the existing fixtures which were still like new (toilet, light fixture), and determined on their own to reuse the towel bar, shower head, and shower valves and faucets, which were also in good condition. They perfectly patched the drywall on the bedroom wall where a plumber had previously accessed the hallway bathroom bathtub valves. They did a great job replacing the baseboards (which had been installed improperly by another contractor), and a cracked marble threshold between two tile floors in the basement. They charged $578 for this additional work, and for extending the tile in the bathtub surround to the ceiling. Adam was very responsive and professional before and during construction, and after the job was completed. We would recommend Choice Construction and hope to work with them again.

I purchased a complete bathroom renovation on an Angie's List special for $3,999. I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism from Choice Construction. The process started with one of the owners, Adam, coming to my home to take measurements, give me an estimate for potential options/upgrades and to answer my questions. Adam was very clear that they would do a great job and that we would be impressed with the standard $3,999 price. He said there were optional upgrades, but there was no need to upgrade as he budgeted a fair allowance for the tub, commode, vanity, faucets, etc. I was almost surprised that there was no "hard sell" or push to upgrade. Adam promised me that my wife and I would be satisfied with their work and that they would continue to do what it takes to deliver on their promise. Adam reminded me that Choice has an A rating on Angie's List and that he intended to do whatever it takes to maintain this level of satisfaction. The contractor Tim was professional, respected my home and privacy and did a really nice job with the tile work and installations. Tim called me multiple times with questions about my specific requests as well as to keep me posted on progress when I was out of town. After the job was done, I was not satisfied with the water pressure coming through the shower, so Tim graciously came back and removed the "water saver" from inside the shower head. Now, we are fully satisfied. Adam, Tim and Choice Construction ultimately earned our A rating and we are considering contracting Choice to renovate another of our bathrooms. I recommend them highly!

The work was done quickly and and with out any delay

Horrible experience and now the company compounds its unprofessionalism by lying in its rebuttal to my review. Adam told me during his initial visit that Angie's List had contacted him and asked him to give them an amount for which he could remodel a bathroom and that he had given a much too low figure. He was more than happy to suggest add-ons and to write up a contract for another $3900, in addition to the $3999 figure he had advertised on Angie's List. NOT ONCE did I threaten to give this company a negative review!! I certainly would not have stated that to Adam given his anger management issues his crew warned me about and how said conduct had allegedly gotten him terminated from his last job. That is why I told his father/son crew he was not to come into my home again. So Adam saw me "sitting in my chair on my laptop" no more than two times, one of which he suggested that I print out the vanity that I wanted and he would get it. His worker told me that he had never picked up the materials and that he made them waste their time doing so. I personally went to Home Depot on numerous occasions and selected and/or bought supplies. Adam wrote "I advised customer to go into store and pick out items because sometimes items online appear differently than what they do in store; customer replied by telling me that it was NOT her job to go into the store and that it's my job because I'm the professional." Oh my God!! That conversation NEVER took place !! First of all, prior to any work being started, I showed Adam the tile samples I had bought from Home Depot and he said that was great because I saved him from having to go buy and show me samples. Furthermore, I would have NEVER referred to Adam as a PROFESSIONAL! Additionally, how dare he presume to know what I can, or cannot, afford?!! He was the one who acted like he was being robbed by quoting Angie's List a figure of $3999. He was the one who screamed at me that I was "cutting into his profits" by picking out a stainable closet door, which was another blatant lie. He was the one who begrudgingly paid his 'crew' only $2000 total and allegedly still owes them from past projects. This is another example of his workers covering their butts at my expense. Adam didn't know how long their breaks were or that they would leave to work at another house when they were to be finishing up here. When he asked them why they couldn't get done when his other 'crews' would have been finished, they would say I had added or changed one thing or another. They went to Home Depot and chose that door and I was told by the father that he had to buy a 'good' door because they did not make a cheaper one to fit that small closet. They when Adam got irate that that door was purchased, the crew claimed I insisted on it ! Adam wrote "Never did I suggest building a closet". No, your crew did. The son asked me what I wanted to do with the dead space they had uncovered and suggested a closet. When then ran it past you, you quickly said that they were to charge me $1100 for it. We agreed and it was built. The door that you cried about was NOT stained; instead it was painted white and was never given another coat as promised so you can easily see the streaks. (Pictures available) In fact, throughout the project, pictures were taken. Some of the first pictures taken detail where water poured through my foyer and kitchen ceiling and light fixtures on DAY ONE! The crew told Adam it was a leak from the toilet due to some part being bad--the pictures show the water coming from where the sink was and obviously the water was not properly cut off. "Custom tile pattern"? When Adam came here the first time alone, he looked at the bathroom and we discussed the tile and I said I prefer the pattern the old tile was in, what I call 'staggered'. Of course he would not recall that since he wrote nothing down!! So when the father laid a total of 14 tiles all day and I mentioned that were aligned and not staggered, he very nicely told me it was no problem to fix it especially since there were so few tiles involved. And Adam is accusing me of not paying ?!! We discussed that the itemization on the Angie's List posting stated $150 for a new toilet and $50 for a new fan. Since he did neither, I paid $3700 instead of the additional $3900 after WE DISCUSSED IT!! He was certainly quick to cash the check and definitely should not have if the amount was in dispute! He called his worker and told him that his company would not remodel my kitchen. This is so laughable since I had said he was not welcome in my home again. But even more laughable---he called that same employee back five minutes later and said he would do my kitchen !!

Nothing but good things to say about Choice and I will definitely be using them in the future!

there was very good communication and support the entire length of the projects.  I completely trusted Adam and his workers to be in my house when I wasn't home.  They included me on all decisions, met the timelines,  stayed to the budget, allowed me to purchase product myself when I wanted to, were very professional and cleaned up each day.  As a mother of a small child, I am very cautious but have complete trust and faith in choice construction.  I am very happy with the outcome of each piece of the remodel and projects.  They do not cut corners but provide quality service for a good price.

The contractors were very professional . Went beyond what I asked for. Cleaned up after so that didn't even look like they were ever there. Price of the work was very reasonable. I will most definitely hire them in the future. I've had them do other things at my house and each time satisfied. Will continue to use in future.

After recieving estimates from three other companies I decided to go with Choice Construction after they were recommended by a friend. My experience with this company was amazing. The customer service was excellent. They were very flexible with my schedule and offered me options that were affordable and fit my budget. My kitchen was outdated and was in need of a remodel and this company exceeded my expectations. <br />
