It's near impossible to find anyone in the far chicago suburbs to do work alone--let alone stucco work. When I came across Westlake Services it was like we came across a miracle. They helped us take down some arches that were falling apart and repair the stucco on our house. We had a few major cracks on the stucco and they were able to fix the cracks, and cover up the "giraffe spots" the original owner of the house from 1982 insisted on. They helped us bring our house up to a more modern look.

Barry’s crew did more than expected of them. I hired this pro to emphasize on two areas where the stucco was coming off and needed repair. They went a step further by repairing foundation work and other areas.

Right from the start, Barry was very resourceful and helped us identify all the issues. Absolutely terrible experience. This company has no idea how to properly perform tuckpointing. They skipped critical steps of the process, resulting in work that is clearly incorrect and unacceptable. Anyone with basic masonry knowledge can see this was done wrong. To make matters worse, they did not even use proper tuckpointing tools, which I personally observed on my security camera footage. This alone explains the poor results and lack of craftsmanship. When confronted about their mistakes, they refused to fix the job, refused to take responsibility, and walked away. Despite delivering substandard, improper work, they still charged $4,000.00. This is completely unprofessional and feels like a money grab rather than a legitimate trade service. Zero accountability, zero craftsmanship, and zero concern for the customer. I strongly warn others to stay away from this company unless you want to waste thousands of dollars fixing their mistakes.

Old heating cables in gutters did not work and ice dams and snow melt was dangerous. Replaced heating cables and gutters. Work looks good. Cleaned up well. Good communication

Barry( westlake)! came and gave an estimate and received 2,750 as a down payment for materials, but never purchased materials. He then sent someone else to the house to attempt to start working but the village stopped them, because west lake was not a registered contractor.

worker's were courteous and respectful. job was completed in little over a day. owner checked in with me and reviewed progress with his workers. tuckpointing was done on house and is a big improvement.

Gary, the owner responded and came out to our home that day to go over the job and gave us a date for a couple of days later to do the work. He called an hour later to say that his guys finished another job early and was going to send his guys to do the job. It was done perfectly. I would not hesitate to call this company again if we needed their services. Thank you!

I needed a contractor to patch up numerous cracks in my homes, exterior stucco, and Westlake did a great job and even exceeded my expectations. The job was done within the time they promised and at the price that was quoted. When they were finished, the property was cleaner than when they started. Barry, the owner, is a man of integrity and is a throwback to the old days when a handshake and a man’s word was all that was needed. He personally came out to the job site often and made sure that things were being done properly and that I was happy. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and I strongly recommend Westlake to anyone who wants a quality job, with no surprises and done at a competitive price.

Barry sent his team over to start the work the day after we agreed on a contract. they came quickly and were efficient. After the stucco dried, it became apparent that some touchups would be needed. I contacted Barry and he sent them over next business day. They completed the work and made sure that I was happy before they left. Overall, price was comparative, work was done quickly and efficiently. Would recommend.

Please do not recommend Barry Tucker or Westlake Services under your company name - Angi. I used the app to get quotes for work needed on my stucco/dryvit exterior walls. Barry Tucker is UNETHICAL. He did overestimate the work that was needed for my house and when Oscar and his crew showed up, they denied that my house needed the repairs that Barry mentioned. Barry was in big big hurry for me to write him a check and Zelle money to him. Then he tried to sell me more of his services and said the price of aluminum increased daily and I needed to lock the price immediately. Yes, I felt pressured to sign a project that I did not even need and I am glad that my common sense prevailed and did not sign up for a second project. He never finished the work promised, it was inferior work - the cracks that were fixed on the wall and pavement have already re-appeared and it has only been two months since the repair. By the way, Barry never came back to inspect the work done to check for quality as he said he would. This man is a liar and takes advantage of his customers. He never responded to my inquiries to finish the job and then tried to blame me and said that I never responded to approve the second project. I don't write reviews, but I wish I had read a review like this one before I hired him. Never hire this man or this company. Barry will take your money and will give you estimates for work that is not needed and the workers do not finish the job. The work is mediocre at best, and this company should never be listed under Angi or Thumbtack. Save your money and hire respectable tradesmen. Never hire Barry Tucker. I am so sorry I hired Westlake Services for work to my home.
