Cole did an amazing job in my basement. I did the framing and electrical work and Cole came out twice to give estimates, suggestions, and instructions as I finished the parts of the basement I felt confident doing. Cole hung the drywall, sealed it, primed it, painted it, and did the trim work. All the work was done for 4 rooms, a hallway, and a bathroom in under three weeks. Cole was also super great about communication as made me aware of issues or changes that needed to take place. I would highly recommend Cole and his work.

The remodel and repairs done to my bathroom shower were excellent! Such a great job done on repairing the ceiling below. You would never know the ceiling had any damage or needed the drywall replaced. Several other smaller jobs and repairs needed done in the house. Very professional and excellent work! I highly recommend and will use CH painting & home repairs for my next project!!

Cole, Greg and his team were excellent! I cannot give them high enough marks. They were courteous, punctual, extremely tidy, careful and helpful with whatever we asked. They also did an excellent job, especially with repainting the kitchen cabinets. Care was taken to completely sand and prep the cabinets so that the new paint job makes them look completely new! They also helped with several small electrical jobs around the house. The new kitchen lighting was recommended by Cole and has made a huge difference. He replaced under cabinet lighting as well as the in ceiling lighting with efficient LED lights that are terrific. I can't recommend highly enough!

Cole Hutton and his great crew were absolutely fantastic to work with. He has done several projects with us. He not only came and gave a very accurate estimate, he also made great suggestions as to how we could take our plans to the next level and even how we could save a few bucks. The job was completed on time and on budget. He was able to blend the old with the new seamlessly. He partitioned off the area minimalizing affect of other areas of the house then cleaned up every last speck of dirt and dust. I would recommend Cole Hutton in a heartbeat as I have already done to many. I just hope he doesn't get to busy, I have a few more projects for him to do here. Terry Berringer

CH painting price was much higher than other quotes, but they were available right away. I went twice with Cole Hutton about the job, we finalized the price and signed the contract. I left for two weeks. Cole assured me in writing if any new job will have to be added he will provide a written estimate prior. I asked him to use my organic, non toxic high quality paint from Ecos paint. I used it in the past - the paint is much thicker than regular and doesn't smell. After 10 days Cole said that the job is done and send me an addition surprised invoice for $500 without any warning. He claimed that he had to paint another coat on a trim because the paint didn't cover white over white with two coats. When I came home I found and open bag of trash in the middle of the house, trash on the floor, old speakers still laying on the floor that supposed to be discarded, registered and outlet covers off the wall, some baseboards were not painted, on some corners the old green paint was visible through the new blue. Some patched holes had cracks and you can see the dust and hair mixed with the paint all over the painted baseboards and part of the railings. The painters did not prep the walls at all. They just painted over the dust and dirt. The sink in my second bathroom was dirty from the paint. The bathroom was not part of the job at all. I found the paint on door handles and the floor. The build-ins shelving was painted sloppy without removing the shelves. The floor had stains from the paint removal. There is no way even to know how many coats he used, and it doesn't matter. I paid him what I promised and he said that all the sudden I owe him $500. Additionally, he put in the new invoice what was already part of the job - removing an old light fixture, removing old speakers from the cieling and patching the holes. This is a pure scam. I personally painted over the trim in my other bedroom with the same paint and it covered everything with one coat. Cole refused to correct the sloppy job. He told me to scratch the pain of the sink with my nails and pay him additional $500 if I want him to come back. I ended up spending a weekend fixing his sloppy job after I paid him $4625. Now, I have to refinish the floor. Cole blamed my other contractor, who was working in the master bathroom at that time, but the guy didn't even use any paint or dissolvent yet. I do not recommend CH painting. I wish I could add all the pictures here.

"I wasn't going to respond to this.. I figured my new customers would see all A's then the one D.. it kind of speaks for itself... My main goal for every job I do, is to try my best for a perfect outcome, and to keep the customer happy! I was warned by multiple people who personally know this customer not to take the job... unfortunately, I did not listen to the warning.. Luckily though I did take pictures of all of the marks, dents, and scratches all over the hardwood floor before starting any work at all because I knew the kind of person she was. Most of these comments she speaks of do not even make sense to me.. she said I marked her floor using paint remover. I am a third generation contractor with years of experience, zero chance I would clean hardwood floor with paint remover. She said I left the place a mess.. No chance.. I spent hours covering everything, I used a sander hooked to my shopvac to contain the dust, then cleaned her everything up at the end of the job. The huge garbage pile was 1 garbage bag half way filled up and a can of touch up paint I was giving to her (I also have pictures of this because I took pictures at the start and finish of the job). I have no hidden fees!.. and I absolutely do not scam anyone ever! The extra money charged was because after the agreement was signed, we were walking through and she verbally told me extra work she wanted to add on and she told me to make it perfect, and I did more then try. Maybe If she was there she would of seen that. Everything was prepped perfect.. and I absolutely took down the shelves! because I took them home to paint them...Also, I did go back and I addressed what she asked me to. I did $1500 worth of extra work but only charged $600. After everything was all said and done she said she does not accept the extra $600 charge, and I decided it’s easier to leave it at that than fight for the remainder of the money, even though I lost time and had to pay my guys to do the extra work. So when she called me to come back a second time, I decided that I just wanted to cut ties with her. We absolutely put a third coat of paint on all the trim throughout the family room/dining room, living room, hallway, railings, spindles, etc. knowing she wouldn't be satisfied with the coverage with the two coats. She is not an expert on paint and she can't say "it's way thicker then regular paint" but I can tell you, as a professional..it's not thicker and definitely does not cover better then duration or emerald (which I recommended her using but she did not want to due to her sensitive nose). The end result is I did alot more work than I bargained for just to get calls and emails saying nasty things and calling me all kinds of names and a bad review.. I spent 10 days working there with a few guys plus supplies, dump fee, and over head. So all that for $4625.00.. scam? I think not.."

It went very well!! Cole is very professional. He and his partner did an excellent job. I was extremely pleased with the work done. He made sure everything was done to my liking. He even slightly changed a color to make it somewhat darker. I can't say enough about his workmanship, his integrity and his care in my home. I will highly recommend him to everyone!

Great! Cole messaged me shortly after contacting him through Angie's List. He was out to look over the job and provided me with an estimate in a timely manner. Once I received the estimate, I contacted him via email to accept his bid. Within 24 hours, he contacted me that he could start the next day. He and his co-worker both arrived at the time that he stated that he would. They were both very knowledgeable and efficient. They were very neat and cleaned up after each of the two days that they were here. They did an excellent job, even caulking areas that I hadn't noticed that needed it. One of my doors was dark gray, and Cole asked me what color caulking that I preferred around that door. The windows look brand new now and we couldn't be happier with his work. We will certainly refer him and use him again.
