chuck is a very nice guy, but not so great in keeping track of lawn treatments. he did not finish the contractual number of treatments over the season. he did ask to finish them the following year, but that is not what the contract states. he is super nice as a person, but not the best landscaper.

* First issue: after first visit, Chuck wanted extra $50 per treatment to cover the whole lawn, which is far more than the $40 per addition $1,000 sq ft one time charge advertised. we agreed to him doing half the lawn for the $300. * Second issue: I expected to pay $300 and have half lawn taken care of. instead, i had to bug him 5 times for him to show up 3 times. now it's mid Sept, and i doubt i'll see him again if i don't bug him net net: i paid for 7-8 visits, got 3 (after a whole lot of chase)..

While still in-progress, Chuck has been consistent with his visits and provides regular follow-ups per visit to ensure that I am aware of the work being done.

I purchased a 10 visit package from Chuck's Landscaping. Package includes fertilizing and weed and pest control. His first visit included fertilizing and spraying weed control. He was here for 18 minutes, which included speaking with my son-in-law, according to his report. Will he be responsive in the future? Will I have to hound him every month to come? I have no idea so how can I honestly rate him? I gave him an A rating for his first visit but did not answer any questions. Please do not hound me for another review until late fall when I have had experience dealing with him!

He does not return calls. So also the text messages. People like this are scam . I would not return to Angie's list because of this. I had a bad experience with another contractor. They fixed our wall and they also fixed our ditch and poured concrete. They did a great job for a very good price. They were very professional and cleaned up. Our sidewalk was falling apart that went across our ditch to the street, they put new concrete over it. My wife took care of that. They did each thing in like a day. They said they were going to come a certain time, they came and they did it. It was a day, it wasn't like messing around.

The weeding work was ok, as described above. I have tried contacting him by phone to do additional work (gutters that we discussed) No response to messages and now when you call the above number the message is that it has been disconnected. While it is not my intention to give him a bad review because the work he did was good, I am frustrated with his lack of responsiveness and now a disconnected number.

I have used Chuck for over a year on a regular basis. I have always found him to be punctual, honest and fair. He has done seasonal clean-up, as well as weekly maintenance. There hasn't been any problems. I think he is ideal if you need someone to maintain your current lawn. It is money well spent for us. <br />

He did work that we did not authorize him to do then said we owed him money. He came one day and did 2 hours of cleaning up the half of the side of my yard then came again while we were not at home to pick up the debris from that day. I have pics of the work he did!! He said he used 8 hours to do this.He send a rude and unprofessional email which I am willing to share here after I question him going over the 4 hours without authorization basically saying he is here to make money and we owe him money. He is a fraud and thank goodness I have all communication saved to prove we never authorize him to go over 4 hours.What a waste of time and money!! <br />

I would "strongly" recommend this company for your lawn care needs. It is a wonderful feeling pulling up my driveway to a nicely manured and clean lawn.

They did a great job!! Better than I ever expected. Unfortunately they filled up their truck and couldn't continue past the two hour window but I will definitely have them back to finish the job as soon as they are available again!! <br />
