Eric, owner of Cincinnati Handyman Services, did a fabulous job. In addition, he completed the work on time at the agreed upon price.

Eric removed a large garden tub and replaced it with a tiled shower complete with coordinating bench and niche. The existing shower he converted to a large shelved storage closet. He removed a double sink vanity and replaced with dual pedestal sinks. He also replaced the exhaust fan with a commercial grade fan. Additionally he completed a tiled floor.

Eric did a whole list of repairs in my home including drywall, tile repair, sticking door, hanging pictures and installing ceiling fans. The biggest project he did was my master bathroom remodel. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and cleaned up after himself. I Would highly recommend hiring him!

My house was only a year old when I moved in. I have a large closet in the utility room with only a hanging rod. Having a good sized coat closet in the foyer I decided to convert the closet to additional pantry space since it’s off my kitchen. Eric made suggestions and we decided how deep the shelves should be as well as their spacing. At the time Eric was not satisfied with wood available for creating the shelves so he got creative and used stair treads which are extremely durable. He ran it by me to see if I was ok with it and I had no issues with it. I now have a great space for convenient additional storage.

Eric just completed finishing my basement. He completed all the carpentry, electrical and plumbing work himself. He did an amazing job. In it he built a playroom (which can be later be used as a bedroom), half bath and a huge living area with a custom fireplace which is gorgeous. During the process Eric consulted with me each step of the way and gave me options to consider. He gave me his expert opinion to assist in making decisions. He was always considering methods to save money but not at the detriment of quality. Eric is also very particular in his work. For example he relocated a light switch after installation deciding I would not be happy. Of course in moving it he had to patch and repaint creating more work for himself but cared more about the best outcome. The basement exceeded my expectations.

Upon getting a quote we discussed the details of the job, and how walls were getting knocked out to expand the bathroom. Eric was very excited about the job and everything was covered (cost, materials, placement) As he started the project things kept changing on his end, he didn't recall details we had talked about and kept saying I was adding on projects he didn't budget for. His payment schedules. draws kept changing because "he was going on vacation and needed money". The job went from about $5K and ended up costing close to $8K. He absolutely disregarded any cleanliness, respect for the house. He never put down floor protection leading from the front door to the bathroom, he destroyed the finish on my stairs and I even had mortar on a few stairs from dripping. He used my person tools without asking and was using a wet saw directly on my hardwood floors. I had to literally clean the house each night because he did not use common sense to close off unaffected areas. Electrical outlets are not symmetrical at sinks, they also are not on a level plane along the bottom of the wall. (1) is about 3" off the floor the other is about 6" off the floor. He used chipped tiles even though I had 5 boxes of excess (could he not take the time to look). The plumbing for the free standing tub leans back because his plumber did not put the connections at the correct spot. I overheard a conversation with his plumber when the issue was brought up, his plumbers response "well that's too bad"... At this point I just wanted them finished and gone. The drywall finishing is some the worst I have seen, joins uneven cracks along joints, horrendous. He mis-cut the door trim work and attempted to seam them together, once again disregard/disrespect. Eric did not want to get another piece and had not even told me, until I had pointed it out. All he kept saying was "i just need to get this job done I am getting backed up" so he was in a hurry and just slapped this project together. Eric talks a big game but I did not see the results, would not recommend for inside work or detailed work.

Eric was very responsive to my request and able to do my repairs in a timely manner. He's a really great guy and a really hard worker. Punctuality is not his forte, but the work is well done. I will probably hire him again in the future for other tasks around my house.

Eric has done multiple tasks for me. He did two bathroom remodels for me at a prior location for which I’ve left reviews. I’m just mentioning it again as I sold that condo and a big factor for getting it sold were the beautiful baths. I moved into a new build recently and had Eric complete some changes including an oversized closet in the utility room which was a wasted space. I asked Eric to install shelves to convert to an additional pantry. As usual he was very detailed and particular as how to complete. We discussed wood vs wire shelves and Eric gave me the pros and cons. Once we decided upon wood shelves Eric was frustrated in finding good wood to install. I so appreciate that he was particular in making sure I had proper and long lasting shelving. He was able to add side shelves that I never contemplated, taking full advantage of the space. They are so awesome. His in-depth knowledge and expertise of home maintenance and remodel never ceases to surprise me. He’s very thorough and particular with the materials and brands he chooses as well as being picky with his own work and in turn that is gratifying to know a job is well done and lasting. I can’t recommend Eric enough.

Eric did a fantastic job replacing our kitchen faucet, fixing a cabint rack, and figuring out issues with 2 bathroom fans. He was very reasonably priced. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone that needs work!

Eric was great. He was thorough, knew what he was doing and gave us several good options to things we were considering doing. We would definitely be hiring him again.

Eric needed to repair the cracked stoop, level the stoop, prep it for new tile and lay the tile. He was meticulous and the result was outstanding. He made many trips to our house to get this multi-step project done. We would hire Eric again; he's honest, skilled and hard working.

We recently used Eric Back for our condo to do some general handyman work to get it ready for new tenants. He did a great job and was very professional and good to work with. I will use him again for future projects. He was very responsive to communications as well.

It went great. He stayed until we saw that it worked correctly, he then disposed of the old mikey and the new mikey's packing material

I was having a dishwasher installed by Best Buy but the installer couldn't get the old dishwasher out because the tile flooring was too high. The installer requested I have some tiles removed. I called Cincinnati Handyman Services based on prior reviews. I explained what I needed to Eric and he asked some questions. We set up an appointment. When he arrived he had all the equipment needed to remove tile. But he first took a look at the dishwasher. After some effort he was able to remove the kickplate at the bottom of the machine and move it up and over the tile. This meant no tile removal and no need for Eric to come back to replace the tile. I asked him about the hydraulic closer on my storm door. I'd taken it off because it kept coming loose. He was able to get it back on (with stronger screws than I'd used). The bill for all this was $100 less than Eric had quoted on the phone. I'm very happy to have had two jobs done AND to save money. I'll be calling Eric again for help with those jobs I can't take on myself.

I have used this handyman service several times!!!! Eric is always on time and can fix anything!!!! Pricing is great! Eric does great work!!! I highly recommend this handyman service!!!

Outstanding job!

Eric did a 'great' job and since it was at my house but where my daughter lives I cannot say too much about what all was done. But I do know that my daughter told me Eric was wonderful and told her exactly what was happening and he fixed it right away. I would suggest this company to anyone of my friends. The price was great and did a fantastic job and giving us information on the problem with the leaking.
