Great service. I met with Dan and received a great quote for the repair of my porch. Jeff the handyman was friendly and professional, and walked me through the steps and asked me questions as work was being done. Jeff made sure I was satisfied with his work, and left my yard very clean and orderly. I will use this company again, and have refer them to my family and friends. I highly recommend this company, I am very satisfied with the work done.

I would not recommend doing business with this company based on the following experience I have had with them to date. First thing to be aware of is the fact that they are listed as CJ Handyman services on Angie's List but when they came out for the estimate they mentioned that the company name had been changed to American Homes Remodeling and Handyman Services. For some reason the name has not been changed on Angies List. I had this company come out and give me an estimate for replacement of wood siding on a shed, and replacement and wrapping of house trim. They were very punctual when they were asked to come out and give me an estimate. They were going to be 20 minutes late and they called to let me know. Andy Harrison came out to give me the estimate and seemed very knowledgeable. He told me they were scheduling work approx. 2 weeks out. Based on this information I signed a contract on August 10, 2018. I had them add a clause that the job would be completed by end of the first week of October2018 at the latest. We discussed the fact that this language did not mean that it was ok to wait that long to start the job. I was assured by Andy that it would be started and completed well before that date. I put a $1700 deposit down when I signed the contract. The problems started after they received my money. Two weeks went by and I had to call them on 8/24/18 to find out when they were going to come and measure for the supply list. I was told they would come out on 8/30/18 at 5:00. They did not show up or call so I called them to find out why no one came out. Andy apologized and rescheduled for 9/1/18. On 9/1/18 they came out and took measurements and told me they would have the supply list to me by the next week so that supplies could be ordered. I asked for an itemized list of supplies since I was going to be paying for supplies per the contract. I was promised I would be sent the list by 9/7/18. Today is 9/11/18 and I have not yet received the supply list. I have left a message for both Andy and the main office for the past 3 days and I continue to get no response.

They put us on the very end of the day and they will call and cancel at the last minute. They finally had someone come over at 6 o'clock in the evening on Saturday. The man worked from 6 to 8 o'clock. He told us that his boss is not paying him and even they pay it will be thru check and it will bounce when he gets paid. The work was finally finished. My husband was looking at it and saw that there was a problem and he was trying to finish up what they didn't. I stayed with it cause they asked for money upfront so I paid $125.

This was a horrible experience from the start. They canceled their appointment 3 different times before someone finally came out. The first time they canceled they never even called which is frustrating when you take off work to meet them at the house. They then didn't finish the job and called me to say they would be back out with a different saw to finish it. Guess what that call has never occurred even when I sent a text message to ask about it. I thought it was strange they weren't able to complete more than they did but that maybe my expectations were off. I was proven right when I just found a crew on Craigslist that came in and did double the work in half the time at the same quality. I would say not to ever consider using this group as this was an easy and straightforward job that they still failed to execute on.

They are expected to show on time unless they are delayed on a prior appointment, and in that case are to call the customer right away. Additionally, it is their responsibility to have tools and equipment prepared to do the work. However, rest assured customer satisfaction remains our priority, but as hard as we try sometimes we miss the mark. I would add that your single experience is not indicative of our overall quality as a company. Services were performed very well. He was prompt, arrived on time and worked diligently to complete services in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable and was very thorough in completing the tasks. I was very satisfied with the services he performed and will definitely use him again in the future.

All my items were completed to my satisfaction. Jeff was very professional and friendly. I felt confident in his work and would not hesitate to have him come back to do additional work for me. He will return to sand down the drywall mud as it wouldn't dry sufficiently in the time he was here and that's just part of drywall repair.

The contractor did a great job of repairing and replacing. The only issue was lack of confirmation for the time and he originally had an incorrect work order. Once the confusion was resolved, the work and the conduct was very professional.

The first contractor sent out wasn't knowledgeable enough to perform the work, but Cindy scheduled a different person to come at a later date, and he was able to switch out the fans and did a great job. This did set things back a bit though timewise.

It went well. Jeff was honest that he wasn't sure how to put tint on a window but checked YouTube and was able to do the work with my husband. It was a 2 person job for that. But I am happy with it. He was patient and did good work.

Amazing. First of all, I didn't expect him to come out the very next day, but he did. Then, he called before my scheduled time and asked if I wanted him to come out early (which I did- I had an event the next day and I was running out of time). Then, when he got here, he explained exactly what supplies I needed (what paint worked best for my project, etc.), explained the work to be done, and gave me a reasonable estimate. Plus, he brought a machine that- had I used the other company I almost hired- I would have had to rent for $60 per hour (the project took several hours, so the rental would have added about 30% to my overall cost). He cleaned up when he was finished, and stayed late to work on a couple small projects. I wish I had known about these guys years ago- I live in a condo complex, and several of my neighbors have asked me if I know anyone who repairs this or that- now I do. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Jeff followed the manufacturer's directions with no problems. It all went pretty smoothly. He laid his drill on the bed without putting something protective under it. I asked him to sweep the drill debris off the bookcase shelf and also to clean up the packing materials in the garage. He said he would have done that later. Jeff was friendly and checked with me a number of times to see how I wanted the bookcase set up.
