C&J TREE SERVICE LLC

Unfortunately, CJ'S left a lot to be desired. Had we realized what we were in for, we would not have paid them in advanced!!! We contracted CJ'S to come in and remove a tree, Clean up some evergreens, clear the front and back garden off all weeds and, lay weed killer down so the weeds would not come back quickly. We had 3 Rose of Sharon bushes planted. A large patch of small sapling trees that was to be cleared, stump and roots removed, and topsoil and grass seed laid down. Also, we paid to have gravel purchased and laid down in our dog run in the areas where there was dirt as when it rains the dirt turns to mud and to move a small amount of stones in the corner of the run moved back inside. We paid upfront April 6th and 7th a $1500.00 deposit on 4/6, a $3015.00 check on 4/7, and an $800.00 check on 4/7 for the dog run. a grand total of $5315.00. All paid before work completion that was supposed to be done by end of day 04/07. We also gave CJ'S an extremely good reference to my daughters for tree removal. from their CJ'S got several referrals from my daughter to her neighbors. The work at my house was never completed! Top soil was never brought in and the area where the sapling were was never fully cleared of stumps and roots and seeded with grass. we had weeds growing back in full force in both the front and back flower beds within 2 days of CJ'S leaving our home to the point the I am still pulling weeds!!! The area that was supposed to be cleared of stumps was not and it was left with no top soil or grass seed. The Dog Pen had a ton of Grave laid down in the wrong spot to the point that I had to go out and again pay for another ton of gravel to put in the correct place. The stone that was out side the pen in the corner was barely touched then left. I called CJ's to get answers about what happened and was told he was coming back...WHEN??? We paid upfront for a completed job. NOT A PIECE MEAL WORK PROJECT!!! I was so frustrated with the situation and being taken advantage of I told Johnny to forget it and stay away. Bottom line for future customers, DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE UPFRONT!!!!!!!!! Make sure everything you pay them for is done correctly and upfront before payment!!!!! Otherwise you will be left like me with work undone and another landscaper to pay!!!!!
