CJW Chimney Sweeping & Restoration is a small, family owned and operated chimney sweeping business with over 23 years of industry experience. We love this industry because it allows us to have personal interaction with each of our customers, which is very important to us. We started this business after helping a family friend with their chimney back in the 1980’s. It was because of that job that we found our passion and CJW Chimney Sweeping & Restoration was formed. Each job we do is personalized because we know every job is different. We have met many great people over the years and it is our customers that keep us going. What sets us apart from our competition is our commitment to always doing the right thing and our quality of work is second to none. Brick or Stone Fireplace Repair
Steve and his crew did a great job rebuilding our chimney! They did a remarkable job matching the original reclaimed brick on the rebuild.
Also a shout out to Eric & his crew for the installation of our gas log. Very happy with both jobs!

The top 30 Cources of the chimney need to be replasced. The color of our finished brick is not common. We found a good replacement palate of colors, and used a light sandtone to separate the old bottom pard of the chimney.
Steve & Crew Started on Tuesday It was demolition day. The Crew was a smooth operating team. Everyone new their role. was a pleasure watching them. At the End of the day, they did a complete cleanup The Next 3 days they laid 10 cources a day, finishing on Friday.
I cannot believe how beautiful the new chimney is, art.

Eric and Riley did a great job for a very fair price, diagnosing and fixing of several problems that popped up. For anyone worried about price gouging, they showed a lot of integrity by replacing parts at no extra cost when they easily could have gotten by keeping mismatched but functioning accessories. Also, it is not cost-effective to dig into the gas lines and the firebox just to sell an upgrade. Outside work such as installing a color-coordinated chimney cap might yield a profit. Chimney Sweeps are very busy. I recommend getting on the books early or doing an off-season inspection. My fireplace is up and running, but I plan to get a level 2 inspection to have more knowledge and peace of mind about the house. In hindsight, I should have gotten a nicer log set, but I wanted to keep costs down in case I had to spend more on repairs.

Eric & Riley were our service guys, and they did everything right!… These guys laid down tarps on the flooring throughout the house in order to get to the fireplace. They installed a BEAUTIFUL gas log fireplace for us. Looks very real and we are so very happy with it. Even after it was done they rechecked to make certain everything was safe and no gas was leaking out. They also went over all of the amazing features and safety features it has on it too. I’m feeling much safer after hearing all about it.— While here we had them service our basement gas fireplace. Eric noticed some issues that weren’t up to snuff, he took pictures to document everything and went over it with us. He redid the venting and also repainted the interior black, he noticed some rusting starting to happen. So happy and GRATEFUL for these two men and the jobs they did for us yesterday. The mark of a good service company is the lack of need to take on an additional project (clean up) after the project is completed. This is definitely the case with CJW Chimney Sweep! Greg and Will placed runners all the way from the front door to the fireplace completely covering the tile and wood floor that was trafficked. In addition the entire fireplace hearth was covered. After their efficient professional work, there was NOTHING left to clean up. This is very highly appreciated which is exactly why we are repeat customers.

Eric and Mark performed the work, were professional, took time to explain things, and did an excellent job. Also impressed how they laid down blankets to avoid leaving dirt on carpet or wood floors. We had not had the unit serviced in the 15 years we lived here, so it needed it. They completely cleaned up the firebox and hardware, and took extra time to clean out the venting on the outside which had hornet and bee nests embedded in them (likely causing our problem of the flame going out after 10 minutes of operation). Then put everything back together and tuned the flame. Unit works great and problem solved. Very pleased with the service performed.

The technicians arrived at the scheduled time and called prior to indicate they were on their way. They were professional in performing the service. Floor coverings and technician shoe coverings were used to prevent soiling or damaging my carpet. I was pleased with the finished product and will use the services of CJW & Associates again . Kudos to technicians Eric and Greg.

The entire experience from booking with CJW to having the service performed was all great. The techs who came actually were significantly early but called ahead to be sure that early was okay. They were very careful to protect our walls and carpet and seemed quite thorough in their cleaning and inspecting. I would definitely go to them again and would recommend CJW to others.
