The project started as a tub to shower only conversion, but turned into a complete renovation of the bathroom. The price was reasonable and the bathroom turned out great. During demolition, Carlos found that the subfloor had disintegrated, and had to be rebuild it. The only other serious issue that arose was that the sliding glass door did not fit on the shower pan. I bought the door, and did not know that the door base had to match the pan. The pan had a lip ( I guess meant for a shower curtain?!), and the door needed an even surface. A Lowe's plumbing associate recommended a clever modification to the pan that allowed the door to be installed. It has been in service for 2 months a still slides smooth as glass. The retiled floor and shower turned out great. The installation of the new vanity, toilet, and associated fixtures also went well. Carlos, Carwina, and their crew were respectful of my house. They cleaned up daily before they left. My morning mood is much improved showering in a modern bath vs that old, outdated one.
