I purchased one of Angie's List's special deals for three weed and fertilizer treatments. The first was done without incident, although I didn't see any improvement in the number of weeds or greening up of the lawn. The second was done late in the summer, far past when it should have been. They called to let me know and said to water the lawn well as soon as possible, which I did as soon as I got home that afternoon. Within a couple of days, there were huge patches of dead grass where they had overdone the treatment, and again, the weeds continued to grow happily. I received an email saying thy would be out again tomorrow for the third treatment. I called and told them not to come and told them the problem. The man seemed unconcerned, saying only that he could understand my feeling and that I would need to take up any complaint with Angie's List. I had actually not intended to write a review, even, much less file a complaint. After seeing the other comments here, however, I decided to add my voice. It's my opinion now that you should only take advantage of these Great Deals if the company has plenty of stellar reviews, like another one I'm about to write a review for. <br /> <br />

The guy did a pretty good job.  From the look of it I could have went to Home Depot and got the chemicals and done it myself.

I  ought a $79 big deal for this service. They were supposed to call me before so I could unlock the gate, but I never heard from them after they did the aeration so if they did the fertilization and all that I do not know about it. I don't even know if they did the work.

Bought an Angie's Deal for $99 on February 26, but paid a bit extra because our lawn was larger than 8,000 square feet. All three treatments were to be completed by the end of June. We waited several weeks before the yard was sprayed the first time; it was finally done toward the end of April.  <br /> After this, we expected them to contact us to schedule the second treatment, but May was coming to a close and we had heard nothing. On May 26, I called and discovered that the company had been sold. The new owner said they were still getting organized and would put us on the schedule as soon as possible. He said they were planning to use the same equipment and product as the previous owners. At that point, he could not promise that he would honor the Angie's List Deal. <br /> Toward the end of June, we had still not been put on the schedule. I called and left several messages on voice mail. During the second week of July, the new owner called to schedule; Classic Green came out on July 14, then again on August 20. They did honor the Angie's Deal and have not charged us extra for either visit. <br /> We can see a difference in the number of weeds in the yard, but would have preferred that all treatments had been done by June. Once finally scheduled, they showed up when they said they would.  <br /> <br /> <br />

I wasn't satisfied with the results, he came at the wrong time of the year. It was raining and washed all of the stuff away. It didn't take the weeds out of the yard. The price was decent but, it didn't work. They were responsive and professional. I probably wouldn't use them again, I didn't think it was effective.

The work they did looks fine to me. I don't see anything wrong with the work they did. I have no reason not to use them in the future.

I purchased 3 treatments from Classic Green for weed control & fertilization. They responded fairly quickly to set up an appointment to come out to do the first treatment. I was told that no one needed to be home, however, my husband was there for the first treatment. The second treatment was on 4/25. No one was home when they came out that time. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that something was wrong with the front yard. There are patches all over the yard that are dark and look like the grass is dieing. <br /> I started calling Classic Green around May 20th. I left several messages and I also sent them an email. On May 27th, I received a call from a gentleman whose name was Astro and he owns B&D Landscaping. Apparently they bought out Classic Green. He told me he would not be able to finish the final treatment that Classic Green was suppose to do. <br /> I called Angie's List and reported what happened. There were delays but that was mostly due to rain and I was happy with the final result.  My yard had a lot of weeds and now it looks great. <br />

We purchased a deal for 3 applications.  It took a month and several calls before they applied one application.  Did not hear anything further so called provider at which time they told me they were bought out by another company and would not be honoring the deal.  I want a full refund.
