It went well. He got the dead animal out of the crawl space in area that not many people would fit. He also took pictures of the crawl space and explained how the animal got in and completed measures to ensure no new animals could come in or return to the crawl space.

Doug is a super nice guy, very responsive, and took our trapped critters to a farm for release. We would definitely use him again.

Removed flying squirrels and gray squirrels. Installed new, heavy duty screens over attic vents. Have not had any issues since this work was done. Did initial cleaning of stucco. Said he was getting another surface cleaner to possibly do a better job. Never called. Never came back. I repeatedly called and left messages. I emailed him. He never responded. Very surprised and disappointed.

On April 28, 2017 Doug Ashe came out to our residence to exclude a bat colony in our attic and place wire mesh in the eaves after the bats had left. He left temporary mesh in the eaves but has not come back to install the permanent mesh. The temporary mesh has gaps. I called last week and he assured me that he would be by on July 19 or 20. He did not arrive either day and did not call. We wrote a check back in April and he cashed it the same day. Now we are waiting for the job to be completed. Permanent mesh was thrown in a crumpled mess on our HVAC unit outside and just left there.

Let me preface my comments with this. He was professional, punctual, and responsive while doing the work. After he was paid and we needed additional cleaning of the stucco, which he said he would look into, he has not been responsive. Initially he did a great job, coming back almost daily to remove trapped animals. He cleaned the stucco of several urine stains. We were away during all this work and we kept in touch with him. When we returned we realized the need for further cleaning of the stucco. He said he was going to get another product and see how it would work. He did not come back to test this product. He has not responded to several emails and messages left on his office recorder and voicemail. It has been almost two months now. I am very puzzled and disappointed. I see from his Facebook page he is still working.

They had to come back because the installer failed to seal up one opening. Now several months later something is in the ceiling. I called last Thursday and left a phone message, and an email so far no response.I am very disappointed.

We live right across from a small park in our subdivision. ? Having critters decide to dig under our brick porch and?take up residence in the crawlspace is not an unusual occurence. ?You can take them away and there will always be more to take their place. This is the third time in five years we have needed Doug's help in removing the last intruders. Doug came out and set two live traps, one in the front of the house and a second in the back. ?The next morning, success! ?An opossum in the front trap and a young male raccoon in the back trap. ?He left traps in place for another five days and there were no other animals captured. The holes were filled with wire and concrete. ?Critters will have to find other places to dig next year!

We had a very good experience with Mr. Ashe's service.

As soon as we moved into a house, we noticed a groundhog in the backyard. Once contacted, Mr. Ashe came out promptly for evaluation and estimate. We asked him to start trapping in a few days for 5 consecutive days. One day before his first trapping, we noticed squirrels. With this finding, he placed traps for both groudhog and squirrels without extra fees.

He came out every morning to check on traps and removed animals. When a skunk was caught to our surprise, he volunteered to come out for an extra 5 days, again without additional fees.

His service was not just for trapping and removal of animals but involved evaluation of backyard fences and porch. He advised us on how to patch potential portal of entry of animals. Based on his advice, we had a contractor install rubber and wire guard below the porch and in the lower portion of fence. We have not seen any unwanted animals since. If we are to have any wildlife issues in the future, we will be contacting classic wildlife control without hesitation!

I would like to compliment Doug at Classic Wildlife Control for his efforts to locate and remove Pepe le Pew, the skunk that opted to take up residence under our back porch. I got Doug's name originally from our local TWRA office, and then double-checked his company on Angie's List. He responded quickly to my email, and even arrived EARLY to set up the traps.

He was friendly and informative and, luckily, gave me instruction on how to open and reset the trap should our cat find the bait too enticing...which he did. Like clockwork daily, he returned to check on the traps; if I was not home, he left a message on the back porch.

Pepe was eventually caught and removed, and I will use Classic Wildlife Control again in a heartbeat should any of Pepe's extended family pay us a visit again.

We had a critter in between our lower level drywall ceiling and our upper level wood floor that we could hear gnawing incessantly every night for 3 nights in a row and then it just stopped. I called some "exterminating" companies but no one would go up in the attic because we don't have a floor up there or pull down steps...what?!!...I was shocked!! Isn't the attic and the basement or crawlspace the prime location for pests to run amuck?!! And if I had a floor up there, wouldn't it be a bonus room?! Anyway, even though we were not hearing the problem in the attic, I still wanted it checked out to be sure the critter hadn't gnawed through whatever it was working on and relocated! I was so frustrated. I can't even remember what I googled but Classic Wildlife Control came up and boy am I glad!!
I called in the afternoon and Doug came out the very next morning!! He was neat and professional, listened to all my ramblings and even put booties over his work boots to come inside!
He did a thorough inspection and then discussed our options. I immediately felt at ease with him because he wasn't trying to sell me any contracts or guilt me into buying anything like some of the other companies I contacted. He simply told me what to do to help determine if we had critters coming in and out of the suspected areas and to call him in a couple of days to let him know and he would come back and set traps or we could close off the holes and rest at ease.
We also knew that our bird netting at the gables inside the attic was coming off at both ends, another reason I was adamant about someone checking out the attic, and Doug explained that they use wire mesh netting on the outside of the gables and paint it to match your house because if it is in the attic, you cannot tell if it is ever damaged by something trying to get in because you most likely don't spend a lot of time in your attic (unless it has a floor and pull down stairs I guess! lol) and also it is much harder for a critter to push through the mesh when it has the support of the outside of the house instead of when it is simply stapled from the inside...I hadn't thought of that! So needless to say, he is going to be installing that in the next few days!
What a wonderful experience all around. Great guy, very knowledgeable and full of common sense which is, unfortunately, not so common these days!!
Thanks Doug and Angie's List!!
Service was fanrastic. He was prompt, kept us informed daily of the progress and, due to quite a bit of rain (which reduced the possibility of catching anything)' he left the traps in place for several more days at no additional charge. I would highly recommend Classic Wildlife Control!
..Doug Ashe is the super hero of animal control and removal. Dont even bother looking at the ads of other wildlife removal vendors. Doug Ashe does it all. He stands behind his work. Evidenced by the vent covering repair he made for us today. Other service providers can only wish they were like Doug Ashe and CWC. Doug has set the bar high!!
For the past several winters--make that, maybe, 15 winters--we have shared our house with mice. Occasionally we'd make a half-hearted attempt to trap them, and we'd catch a couple...maybe. This past winter they were whooping it up, running in the walls, scoffing our mouse-traps, laughing their little mouse laughs. Finally, I had had it. I called Classic Wildlife Control and a really nice guy came out, looked around the house, pointed out where the mice were likely entering. He offered to patch the many little holes in my foundation I had overlooked but, for a lower price, I followed his directions and patched them while he handled the mouse-trapping. He then visited our house every day for about two weeks to check mouse traps he had set and to remove mouse corpses (these mice were no longer laughing). Finally, after a few days with no mouse corpses, he spread some sort of pheromone that communicated to mice that our house is not mouse-friendly. No more mice--a guarantee comes with the service.
They were right on time for our appointment. After an inspection of the interior and exterior of the house we were able to put a plan in action as to how to remove the mice and then what to do to prevent them from entering the house again. Mr Ashe was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would call him again without hesitation if I required their services again. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a problem with unwanted house guest.
