This company has been awesome. I am a Worcester resident and have no clue about heating systems. David Clay and his team came out to look at my boiler. It was not firing. Winter is fast approaching. David provided a free estimate and also encouraged me to look at quotes from other competitors. I did. And his pricing was best aligned with my budget. His quality of work is amazing. David and his technicians fielded all my questions- I had many. Their customer service is amazing as they had all the patience and courtesy to educate me about the work and boiler systems. My experience as a customer is that Clay Plumbing Heating offers the best quality, professional craftsmanship, best client service, and at the best rates.

Great company. I put in the request on a Friday and was contacted the following day!! They were willing to come in on a weekend! On the day of the appt, the person was about an hour late and didn?t call (slight minus) however, was able to quickly assess the problem, tell us what needs to be done and was able to fix it the following day. Also gave us recommendations on what we can do to prevent it from happening again. Overall, great company

David Clay of Clay Plumbing and Heating was the first company to contact me after getting on Home Advisor.com and asking for a plumber. We had an emergency, we own a triple decker apartment building and the toilet on the second floor was leaking through our bathroom ceiling. David showed up within 2 hours and realized what the problem was quickly. He went for parts and had the toilet fixed within 45 minutes. We were very happy with his work and will definitely use Clay Plumbing and Heating again.

David Clay was initially responsive to the call, set time and days to come, each time either had to reschedule or came hours late. He installed the boiler which we were pleased with. We did have to call him at least five times to get the old boiler removed from our basement. After the installation we experienced a leak, we made many attempts to contact him which were never responded to. Very disappointing.

I feel as though David Clay charged me of $1,200 unfairly. I hired David Clay to do plumbing work for me and he did not show up to do the work. He subcontracted out the job to two men who I still do not know if they were licensed plumbers. After contacting David Clay, (which was always very difficult because his voice mail box was always full, and he does not do email, for replies), he would not remediate his mens incorrect work without trying to charge me more money; and he would not reply to my requests for information about the two men that did the work. After multiple failing efforts to remediate my plumbing job to a reasonable solution, I researched David Clay and found out that he is only a Journey Man plumber Lic.# 25993, who cannot subcontract out his work: he must do all the plumbing work himself and his contract requirements dictate him to do under his licensed agreement with the State of Massachusetts. In conclusion, David Clay deceived me and more than that, he has acted in an unprofessional manner. I would not hire David Clay again, and I would not recommend him to do plumbing work.

Quick response, on time, easy to work with.

Do to the work required, they had to come out on two day which was expected but both times they showed up over 1.5 hours late. While they were there, I asked about another small fix. He looked at the work and said it was an additional $140. I looked at him and said really, your already here. They came down to $100 for the additional work. The quality of the work was as expected. but I probably would not call them again.

Quoted me a price upon consult visit. Jumped the price up a hundred dollars once work was done. Settled in the middle. That was annoying. Otherwise super nice guy and work done seems solid and working fine. Cleaned up after themselves and worked fast. My new water heater is louder when it turns on than my old one was (before it broke down) for whatever reason.
