Clean Giant

The woman who cleaned was originally supposed to come on Monday, but we finally got together on Friday. I agreed to have her come back again on Tuesday, 10/26, but instead she showed up on the Tuesday before (the house had just been cleaned by her the previous Friday. At first the company tried to charge me the full amount, then they lowered it to $30, then they refunded my check. I don't think they are very well organized.

Extremely well. The place looked terrific from tip to toe.

They were very responsive and paid attention to detail.

Overall, I was not satisfied with the performance. It was incomplete and not thorough enough. First, she was 30 minutes late. I told her that dusting was priority for me, but when I looked at her work, she had only dusted the areas where there were no physical objects. I thought she did a good job in the bathrooms at a glance, but when I looked closer I could still see things that I could have easily cleaned. Also, the company told us the cleaning person will provide their own supplies and equipment. Once she started vacuuming, she informed me it doesn't work and she didn't bring the bigger vaccuum to make it easier for her. She also used my supplies to clean the kitchen floor. I found her to be inefficient and non aggressive. Although I could have told her these things while she was there, I did not expect to tell a 'professional' from a professional company how to do her job. I will not be using this company again.

Bill showed up on time and we did a walk thru talking about exactly what I wanted done. Very nice guy. His helper, Cindy, showed up about 30-45 minutes after Bill arrived. They got the bathrooms sparkling and kitchen clean. Also cleaned the ceiling fan in the kitchen. Bill gave me a rough estimate of time and charges before starting and it basically hit the estimate. I was happy with the work and will hire them again in the future.

The scheduler on the phone was polite and knowledgeable. She worked with us to find a time that would fit our schedule. The house cleaners arrived as scheduled, did the work to our satisfaction, and in a shorter period of time than estimated.

Jody arrived on time. I showed her around the house, oriented her to our cleaning supplies, and discussed our preferences for which products we wanted her to use on which surfaces; e.g., Soft Scrub not scouring powder, mild neutral cleaner not harsh chemicals, etc. We showed her certain items that she needed to be careful cleaning. She had a great attitude and seemed to know exactly what she was doing. She was also very energetic. We were so pleased that we have scheduled her for bi-weekly routine cleaning.

From the very first call I made to this company, I received courteous and professional service, flexibility around my schedule and a complete explanation of all services to be performed. They fit me into their schedule within a week and called to confirm my first appointment the day before. They were on-time and friendly and completed all work requested to my satisfaction. I will do business with them on a regular basis.

Appointment setter was very friendly and helpful. Was told I would get a reminder call on Sunday night before Monday morning work. Reminder call came in on Friday night, one day after booking cleaning service. Cleaning crew did great job of cleaning house, but did not complete tasks requested. Specifically, asked for blinds to be cleaned and oven cleaned. Neither were completed. Cleaners were gruff and unfriendly, complained of how difficult the job was to complete. Would use company again, but will request different crew.

I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS LADIES WORK, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. SHE DISPLAYS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE WHILE PERFORMING HER DUTIES AND IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

I HAVE USED THIS SERVICE NOW 3 TIMES. THE FIRST PERSON SENT DID A WONDERFUL JOB STRAIGHTENING UP AND SOME BASIC CLEANING, BUT DIDN'T DO ALL NEEDED WORK. SHE RAN OUT OF TIME. THE SECOND TIME, I GOT A SUPERVISOR WHO DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING, BUT ALSO RAN OUT OF TIME AND HAD TO COME BACK ON A SUNDAY TO FINISH. AFTER I SPOKE WITH THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE, WE MADE SURE THAT THE PERSON WHO COMES IS ALLOTTED ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE THE JOB. FOR MY HOUSE, WE ARE ESTIMATING 4 TO 4/12 HOURS. RATES VERY REASONABLE. WOMEN PLEASANT AND ANXIOUS TO DO THE WORK IN THE MANNER THE OWNER WANTS. NOW THAT WE SEEM TO BE IN A PATTERN, THE HOUSEKEEPER HAS ASKED ME TO GET SPECIFIC PRODUCTS THAT SHE LIKES TO USE AND I HAVE ASKED HER TO DO MY WOOD FLOORS WITH A CERTAIN PRODUCT THAT I PROVIDE. I WILL CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN NOW THAT WE HAVE THE KINKS IRONED OUT. SERVICE WAS VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED.

I HAVE HAD CLEAN GIANT FOR OVER 10 YEARS. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE AND THEY DO A NICE JOB. JANE, THE OWNER, IS VERY RESPONSIVE. YOU ARE ASSIGNED ONE PERSON AND HAVE THE SAME PERSON EVERY TIME, SO THEY GET TO KNOW YOUR HOUSE. THEY ARE ALSO GOOD WITH PETS, AND ARE CAREFUL ABOUT KEEPING CATS IN, IF YOU HAVE INDOOR ANIMALS.
